Anyone experienced this? (Im Not on Froyo!)
- Desire refuses to switch to landscape mode in gallery. It does it once in a while but its getting pretty stubborn.
- Google Sky (might be compass related prob) always shows the same part of sky wherever you direct the phone to
I quess my phone accelometer needs calibration or something. Anyone with ideas?
Thanks
never experienced this problem in skymaps. use it a lot.
defo try and see can you reset the magnetic compass. Does it work in a compass app for example? get a simple compass app and try it. If it doesn't work in either app maybe its a hardware fault?
Hey,
Some days ago i flashed the UK 2.2 ROM onto my defy, everythings working fine, just applyed the marketfix.
Now a friend of mine got his defy today and we flashed the same rom to his, and everything seems to work - except the camcorder.
The camera-app, for taking photos, is working as it should. Now here's what we've noticed so far:
- both apps produce a clicking noise of the camera, which my defy doesn't do
- if we set the resolution to QVGA or CIF, the camcorder is working correctly
doesn't matter if we start with the camera and switch, or start with the camcorder-shortcut - it's just clicking, everything turns black for a second, and that's it. Any ideas? It's kind of strange to see it working on my phone, but not on his. Btw under his battery-cover it says "BT 33", mines a "B 9".
edit: After flashing for the second time, i realised it is the "Market_Apps_Camera_Mod_Haptic_Mod" that breaks the camcorder. So the solution is very simple.
The Marketfix for 2.2 is available alone, but not the haptic-fix, for the solution here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=936313 ) is resulting in a bootloop, as for some other users, too.
does anyone have the unmodfied "framework-res.apk" WITH haptic fix enabled, or maybe a .zip of the haptic fix to apply via recovery? that would be great!
This has happened twice to me - my gyro quits working, and a reboot seems to fix it. I've gone into the Service Menu (via the Phone app, *#0* #) and tested the sensors - they work up their updating is very slow and choppy. Is anyone else seeing this behavior? I tried recalibrating via the Display option, and the gyroscope still acts screwy. Any suggestions other than rebooting every few days? Thanks.
Hi, everyone. recently I found that the NFC is not working properly.
Since I don't like those bloatware so I disable all the apps I can recognize and might not affect the system.
But now, everything works fine but the NFC.
every time I reboot my phone I need to reenable the NFC to have the NFC function working.
anyone has the same issue? Or is this a common issue?
Mine is weirder.
Tab s 10.5lte.
Whenever i cast to chromecast and then attempt to pull down the notifications panel it almost always crashes the systemui. Now and then it will work. It seems to be related to this bug: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=70783
Has anyone had this problem and found a workaround?
Never mind found a fix here, works perfectly :good: : http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/themes-apps/mod-chromecast-systemui-crash-fix-t2813095
