After installing the 8.1 beta on my 5x, it seems that the vibration for the fingerprint unlock has been reduced. Anyone else find that? IMO this feels better for me - almost silent but it still gives you feedback.
Feels like it's has been reduced.

Hi
So I was wondering if there are any mods for disabling slide-to-unlock vibration?
I couldn't find anything about this, that's why I post.
Disabling the vibration in all settings does not disable the vibration for the slider.
It feels a bit annoying and jerky unlocking the lock screen. (Slider). The idea is that the phone feels fluid and smooth, but with this, it just makes it feel weird.
Besides, it probably drains the battery faster.
Cheers
Bump. Looking for the same answer.
I notice this both in my trouser pocket, and also in my shirt pocket. The sensor is detecting touch and waking the phone, and you can feel the short vibration.
I know the Oneplus3 had this issue, and I believe it was fixed by using the proximity sensor to deactivate the fp sensor. I don't suppose this is possible to do as of now for the 5s? If not, could it be implemented?
I am using the latest nightly Lineage build.
I see the options has "Display->Prevent accidental wake-up", but this seems to only be for gestures and not for fingerprint/home button.
I've raised a Lineage jira ticket. Can anyone else confirm they are getting the same issue?
https://jira.lineageos.org/browse/REGRESSION-1154
Only seems to happen with certain fabric. In my 'smart' work trousers, its always waking up. In my tracksuit trousers, it doesnt seem to do it.
Seems much better, if not fixed, with the current Nightly 14.1 build.
I have this problem in mi5s.
I'm not 100% sure if this is a bug or a hardware issue, but my fingerprint scanner is no more.
A while after I installed one of the nightly builds for my Axon 7 Mini, my fingerprint sensor would not read my fingerprint. It would vibrate and tell me that my fingerprint was incorrect, so it's aware that I was touching it.
So, I instinctively removed my fingerprints and tried re-registering them. When I get to the point where I enter my fingerprint, it won't do anything when I place my finger - no vibrations, no error messages. You guys think my scanner is as good as dead?
was tripping through the keyboard settings and saw that vibration was ON. which surprised me, because i haven't yet felt it.
up a level to Vibration Intensity, and i set it to 100% — and only then did i feel it, and it was still quite subtle.
what have y'all noticed?
edit: okay, strange things. now the vibration is quite noticeable, and seems normal. go figure.
Hi!
I just replaced my oneplus 5 with oneplus 7t and a real problem that occur after about a day is that I can't use f.lux with fingerprint sensor...
Im trying to see if there is a way to listen to fingerprint popup so I could disable f.lux everytime there is a fingerprint scan.
anyone knows anything about this?
