Kingroot and the LGK10

has anyone experienced any problems with rooting the K10 with kingroot? i have but after that and using 2 other apps Root booster and L speed i ended up with a boot verification fail

my lg k10 MS 428 ( MetroPCS ) has the same problem . you have a solution? where I can download the KDZ ?

I have the same issue and I have that file but as I am a new user, I cannot share links

I took it back to store and had my wife act stupid and they replaced it no questions asked lol

You probably need to unlock the bootloader, both in dev settings and again with fastboot. fastboot will wipe data

It's been a while since I used Fastboot.
Do you know the exact commands to unlock the bootloader?

Explains how tho get root on a similar phone like LG k10 using kingroot. Other members have told me I don't have too unlock my boot loader before attempting too gain root.
Do you know if there is any truth in that?

No you don't need to unlock your bootloader to root your phone. Some devices need it.

I bricked my phone while replacing KingRoot with SuperSu. I don't trust Kingroot, removing KingRoot method for LG K10 for now.

the kingroot method doesn't work for me.. I have k430n (mediatek variant)
i just noticed this new trick which looks promising.. but i haven't tried it yet

If you stop at "Your device ia corrupt... " Just use LG Bridge, works well!

One question is there is that is same for lg k420ds

Hi, I'm using the phone model installed ROM is lgk10 k430tr Turkey. I'm working on rooting with my phone kingRoot but it is not root anyway.I used the phone from outside 2017 date of manufacture It also shows my kingo Root phone model as K430tr. m253 shows as model. Because I have NFC and Radio APK on the phone but I can not use it because it is passive I want to make root in it Please urgent help

Hi everybody ...i have LG G4 H815 taiwanese model ... please can anybody give me some info on how to unlock the bootloader
i heard TWN models bootloader cant be unlocked...the info is in pic...i want root thats why need to unlock bootloader

i have not use this one but its similar.. i used for h811 system image... on mine i had to be on LP 10n not sure aabout your variant... then copy the system image file ... its a 4.2GB file then put phone into download.. i opened folder and do a comand promt in there.. follow the commands and it moves the system image enter leave and it restarts with root on the phone....
like i said this is for the tmobile h811.. but its similar to this guide never done this guide so follow their steps..... good luck

i know i did mine too.. i was afraid too.. but there was an eaiser way for my h811.. its the same but it only talks about that phone... but it should be similar..

Theres no one click methods unless bootloaders unlocked which dont look like is ever gonna happen. As long as you follow the steps ure pretty safe.

NOTE THIS IS GOR TMOBILE ONLY H811
just read and since its shorter maybe you can get an idea on what to do with the other method .. this guy says to read the low effort as its the same....

bootloader unlock code different from frp unlock code.
installing other device firmware has chance to replace oeminfo.img partition. Changing this partitin often causes locked frp.
If lucky you can wipe from the erecovery that is loading. maybe even couple times. Then maybe it will boot. Other that that there has been no public mention of any fix.

do your best to fix it using hisuite or other methods if you can. if you have twrp that can help if you have stock recovery and locked frp your only hope might be hisuite and if that fails you will need a paid option like dc-phoenix or funkyhuewei. i only have experience with dc-phoenix, and it did fix my locked frp completely bricked phone, but i read that funky also works well but is nearly 3 times as expensive. (15€ vs 50€)

Hello friend i had done the same i installed L21 firmware from firmwarefinder to my BND-AL10 and same happened my phone was bricked it was directly taking me to the stock recovery but my bootloader was locked and lucky i had Kept my bootloader unlock code with me when the site was up so when i unlocked my bootloader it did factory reset and booted normally and Oreo was installed but the only problem im facing is my build number is still showing the old one which is BND-AL10C675 B161 and i don't have face unlock and ride mode which comes with Oreo i had face unlock with BND-AL10C675 B161 . My frp was unlocked already .

The displayed build number comes from the data part of the update. (Update_*hw_*.zip)
If you reflash again all three files , might be fixed

I don't want to sound like rude or anything.
But I put it all pretty simple, I thought. Like 4 steps
Download files
Put files on SD card
Install twrp
Install file I shared
If that is over your head, maybe you should not have modify and phone.

There is no other options to install other than installing through twrp???
Will i get OTA updates of my bootloader is unlocked ??
If not then i vl be happy to install RROS 8.1 coz am on oreo that means i have treble support so i can just install it

I know each device has it's own proceedure to, flash and all, and they are similar but different.
So can be confussing

Did you try the one for OP3 on OOS? After booting, may be you can flash H2OS.

That is not an issue, AFAIK. While using the tool, you will be in edl mode and not in bootloader mode. Just try it. You are not going to be worse off.

LG G4 can wont boot in OS, TWRP bootloop

Guys please someone help me :crying:
I have a Lg G4 (H815) which has an unlocked bootloader and Astrakos amazing V30 port with his nougat bootloader. I did a factory reset in settings (not within twrp) and now the phone only boots in TWRP recovery. I tried to reinstall the rom but nothing happens. Does someone know how i can completely downgrade from v29a to stock marshmallow? I can not afford tu buy a new phone. Please someone help me? :crying: I would even pay on Paypal if someone can really help me like which kdz and dll i can downgrade and how.

Reflash twrp. It is corrupt

Go to the official TWRP thread and install the latest preview flavor for nougat .
