I'm on the Android beta program and after the most recent update sounds in my video camera doesn't work. Does anyone else have this issue?
The nougat beta is over, you should be on a stable version now.
Hi,
I want to please know if anyone has updated the Android Q beta on the Asus zenfone 5z? If yes then have you recieved any updates on it like beta version 4 or 5?? Because this information is not getting updated on Asus's official android q beta page which is disappointing.
Please let me know so that I may then plan to try it if its getting updates since may.
Using Android Q
I am using Android Q beta on my Asus Zenfone 5z. I would suggest don't install it. It is stable enough to be used but there is no update apart from the first release. It is stuck in May 2019 update and there seems to be no movement on this. You will lose the wide-angle camera and 4k 60fps video recording. Recently I am facing issue regarding Sim card ie, If I put the phone on flight mode or restart the phone then I have no network. I have to remove the sim slot and press the phone in the same area and then it works. It is smoother than ZenUI but I would suggest don't use it yet at least till they update to latest beta.

Thanks alot! I did installed it too but few months back and immediately reverted, that why I asked being in july now. Its really disappointing Asus being so slow for flagship phones and their customer service don't even know how to resolve few things. They just tell us to go to service centres which also don't have any knowledge. They don't listen to customers and fix issues thru software updates. Pixel phones are on beta version 5 now and our may release is I believe the third and that sucks.

Yes... I'm currently on ZenUi 6.0 with Android 10 on my Zenfone 5z 100.04.44.67
I'm on 100.04.44.67 and using this update from day1 it rolled out...and According to my experience till now, I faced this issues:
1st major issue:- It has 1 major bug in my case... during the*phone call*earpiece doesn't works needs to plug-in the earphones or use in speaker mode.
2nd:-Another issue is call of duty game restarts 1 time in battleground mode in each match, the game hangs and then we need to close the*app*n launch it again. You will be in the same position in the game again. This happens only in multiplayer battleground mode and only happens once per match.
3rd:- It isn't a stable update, its a beta 1*users*Android 10 update, so there are some bugs.
Till now i have came across those bugs.....apart from this Zen Ui 6.0 on top on Android 10 is pretty nice. Stock Android with extra features just like oxygen os.
The beta 2 fixes most of the beta 1 issue and is really smooth.

I'm on beta 3 now...
Everything works fine n it's pretty stable but the call of duty game issue continues.
short question, would it be possible to get ONE UI v1 on the Note 10 with Android Q to get Good Lock working again?
No. Samsung's version of Android 10 for the Note 10 series is basically OneUI 2.0. You would have to roll back to Android 9 to get back to OneUI 1. Good Lock should be updated to OneUI 2.0 compatibility eventually but may be a while since OneUI 2.0 is fairly new.
Bounty for Android 12 (beta) port to 8 and 8 Pro.
I'll start with $10.
This rom will give you an idea what is (pixel ported) Android 12 look like on OP8Pro.
I test it few minutes, I can't comment about.

Superb rom. Beta 5 of Jay's port running smoothly on my 8Pro without any battery draining. although FOD and safetynet is still broken. im enjoying it on my phone as daily driver because im beginning to hate the O2 UI now that im running pixel rom (haha).

Should be the same issue as all custom ROMs.
There's a thread about getting Verizon working as expected.
Aside from one being stable and the other as a beta, are all the features the same? I have an unrooted Pixel 6 Pro running the latter, but I don't want to set everything up again if I unenroll from the beta program and download the 12L stable version.

I am on the beta don't see any difference between them. My Pixel 6 Pro is also not rooted.
I agree with their stability. I was on rooted on beta 1 and then flashed stable (rooted) for a day before updating to beta 1.1 and so far they're identical in terms of daily stability. No issues on either.
Anyone noticed better Bluetooth with QPR3 builds? I'm currently on stable 12.1
I've had nothing but trouble with just my car Bluetooth and my P6 Pro (other Bluetooth has been ok). Other phones connect fine and.play correctly, with my Pixel it's hit and miss if it auto connects, often get dropouts, song names no longer show correctly or keep up with song changes on Spotify etc.
Drives me nuts!
I have started having BT connectivity issues with my Garmin watch since the stable March drop. The connection would drop and only restarting the phone brings it back.
Otherwise, the update is stable and it may have improved battery life a bit.

This is one difference between Stable and QPR3 Beta 1.1 that may make a difference to you...

Probably unrelated, but I installed a13 DP2 , went back to stable 12L , then got an ota for a13 DP2. I wasnt enrolled in the beta program at the time. Go figure.
