Bluetooth Keyboard best? - Shield Android TV Accessories

Can someone recommend a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse that works with the 2017 nvidia shield pro?

Desk use or couch use?
I successfully use a Logitech diNovo Mini bought in mint condition (wraps still on) for some 15€ at a flea market. Best investment for couch use. Of course the usage is not as fast as with a proper, desk mounted mouse & keyboard, but that's another story.

I use this:

It works great for light typing and the touch pad is decent.

[Q] Asus Transformer-like Keyboard and Mouse?

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone of you know if samsung has a keyboard and mouse similar to that of the Asus Transfomer. I searched over amazon but I couldn't find anything. It is not necessarily made by Samsung, it could be made by other manufacturers.

Samsung has their own docking keyboard, which works fine. Next to that, as the keyboard is white, I have added a white wireless bluetooth mouse by Logitech, which works fine as well.
Who needs a laptop after that.

I've seen that but what's interesting about the Asus keyboard/mouse is that it is very slim and it can be folded while if you want to hold the samsung keyboard, you will have to use a both hands maybe
No, I use it in my lap as a keyboard without needing two hands. The connection is secure. The mail advantage of the keyboard are that it has a number of special keys, and that it does charge the Tab wile inserted in the keyboard. Mail disadvantage is that it does require you to use the samsung stock software keyboard on the tab. The external keyboard requires that.

If you can get your hands on this official keyboard case, this I think beats the Asus transformer in style and portability, though battery life will take a toll since it's bluetooth. Problem is, I can't see any US vendors selling it.

i got the keyboard dock as well. Went with the white one instead of the new bluetooth keyboard from samsung with a folding case since i don't wanna use bluetooth to preserve battery life.
The advantage is that its rock steady in its position and you can easily have it your lap on teh bus for example. the downside is that you can adjust the angle. although i'm fine with the angle the way it is but they could have maybe made it a bit more adjustable somehow.
i also got the official usb adapter which i use for mouse, works so far with every mouse i've tried, and its snappy!
i would recommend a wireless mouse with a tiny usb dongle instead of bluetooth. mainly due to battery life. i'm getting one myself, just using a wired mouse atm.
on another note, the usb adapter works quite well also, even tho its a bit on the large side i'm content with it. to my own surprise i plugged in my old usb saitek cyborg gamepad (looks like a x360 controller only you can switch place with the d-pad and left analogue stick) and it worked perfectly with my emulators!
one suggestion on the usb adapter tho, if you're using it for mouse you are better of plugging in the mouse first and then plugging the adapter into the keyboard dock (with mouse already plugged in). Seems like a lot less risk of breaking it that way. that's why i don't like adatpers that much, but guess it's the price to pay when you get as slick and slim tablet as the galaxy tab. no UBS port from start. still it has better placement of the pin connector than ipad for example since you can't have it netbook style in apple's keyboard dock due to that fact, but the galaxy tab becomes just like a netbook when combined with the keyboard dock.
also the keyboard dock is not a hassle to bring along on the road and it feels sturdy and well built. and it's also about half the price of the new bluetooth keyboard with case, at least here in sweden. I might get the bluetooth one for portability since it's obviously a bit less space demanding, but not much compared to the keyboard dock. but at the current price i'll hold off a bit since i'm so satisfied with my solid keyboard dock. feels good to type on too IMO.
i'll end my rant now

GNex w/Bluetooth keyboard

A few days ago, I received my Samsung OEM MHL adapter enabling me to connect my GNex to my HDTV. Then after much internet research, I decided to go to the next level and ordered an Rii mini I6 bluetooth keyboard from Amazon. I was concerned after shelling out $42.68 and held my breath that it would connect and perform as advertised. Well, the keyboard and integrated mousepad connected almost instantly and performed beyond my expectations. So now I can not only connect my GNex to my tv, but also control it from my recliner and see my phone's screen on my tv and see the fully functional mouse cursor on both the phone and tv, and enter text and all other keyboard commands just as if I were sitting at the keyboard and mouse of a PC. Cooler than dry ice!!!!!!!

wireless mouse?

droider seeks enlightenment:
having found an excellent Bluetooth keyboard (Logitech K810) for my shiny new N7 i'm now looking for a wireless mouse, don't really care if it needs a transceiver or not. searching around hasn't yielded any particularly promising leads. (yes, i've heard of the Google machine, no joy)
is this a weird thing to be looking for? do they all work with Android so, duh!, just buy one or is it so odd/marginal/doesn't-work-so-well that i'm barking up the wrong tree?
related to this, how well do the smartphone-as-mouse apps work with a droid tablet? most say "mouse away on your PC" but i'm not seeing much about doing it on the tablet.
microsoft wedge mouse .. but like the majority of bluetooth devices, there is a bug so you'll need to wait for an update from Google to fix .. you'll probably find the same with your keyboard.
yeah, i'd heard there was a bug but so far the keyboard has been good.
so, bug aside, should any old bluetooth mouse be expected to work well? that's kind of what i'd expect but you never know, tech weirdness and all.
I got the Logitech bluetooth trackpad (k651?) and it works like a charm with my k811 bluetooth keyboard. Have them paired to my Macbook, iPad, and Nexus 7 (2013) with no problems.
Sent from my Nexus 7 (2013)
Fry's had HP x4000b bluetooth mice on sale for $17.99. It pairs and works fine with the Nexus 7 (after adjusting speed).
I have an old MS 5000 BT netbook travel mouse. Works great.
I recently bought a noname keyboard and mouse from ebay, the keyboard works great... the mouse worked once and then was never able to reconnect after hours of unpairing and repairing it just won't ever work again... even tried a factory reset on the tablet no dice.... the same mouse works perfect on my s4 regardless of how many times i unpair it and reconnect
what mice are confirmed working more than once on the nexus 7
I have logitech wireless keyboard and mouse...for my N7(2013) which works really well...I got it from Amazon...and its working really fine..sometimes it creates a problem in connecting and pairing but most of the time it works smoothly and very fine....If you are facing such problems with the mouse then you better consult the customer service support as they could be the right person to sort it out.....
I use a Razer orochi. Its a great little mouse with decent specs and a great scroll wheel. Comes with a zip up pouch and a USB connector to.

Ditto on that here.
magicaly it seems the mouse decided to finaly pair and connect. still shopping for a fullsize bluetooth keyboard to use my tablet as a desktop connected to my tv
I can use my Logitech K810 keyboard and M555b mouse - both Bluetooth.
Works very well, no hickups.
The K810 also have 3 switches to...switch to 3 different BT devices on the fly. I can connect my Windows 7, iMac and Nexus 7 at work flawlessly.
Well i have this combo of wireless mouse and keyboard from Logitech and its working really fine...but the only thing which is worrying me is the instant disconnect of the keyboard time and time...and not pretty sure about the battery life of the keyboard too....but at the price they are offered are worth of it...and the disconnection problem is there but not most of the time.....
this is the one which I have
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-combo-mk320?crid=27
For me I use a universal cover with keyboard which uses a cable and since I have a phone I use it as a mouse with droidmote but since im so used to virtual keyboard I often use my keyboard cover as a stand and droidmote as the controller

hi Jimmy,
Are you using the Logitech Wireless Combo MK320 kb-mouse? How are you connecting it to the N7 - Do you have a unifying nano-receiver connected through a OTG cable?
I am trying to connect the K400 with the OTG cable, it is not working out.
Thanks,
here's wht i hav tried. worked great without any tinkering (root, 3rd party apps etc)-
1. sony ps3 controller.
2. various usb mice.
3. mircosoft wireless mouse (the ones with the usb dongle).
4. logitech wireless keyboard mouse combo.

Looking for a keyboard with a trackpad for my 2014 Note 10.1

All options seem to have a huge lip of leather coming off the bottom portion right under the touchpad, or need a kickstand for support which is not practical on your lap.
Any suggestions?
I bought a Motorola KZ-450 combo keyboard/trackpad that's got a protective cover that turns into a stand about two years ago on one of those "Deal A Day" sites for $30 or $45. I keep it in one of those generic cloth 10" tablet pouches along with my Note.
My only regret with it? Not buying two at that price- it's been pretty much perfect for me, and I use it to bang out E-mails when I'm flying.
Any other options out there with a trackpad? The motorola doesn't seem to be available in the UK
Been looking for something similar myself.
All I've been able to find are touchpad based solutions...not that practical
I was looking for the same until I ordered this today: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I describe why that one won out of the 100s of keyboards I was checking for certain features (priority, quick switch, multi-device pairing, lower priority, trackpad). Not only does it have both of those, but also a built in IR (learning) remote! Check out my post in the other keyboard topic on this page, where I describe it a bit more. Hope that one appeals to you!
Bad link
My bad, thanks for letting me know http://www.amazon.com/Ultrathin-Wireless-Bluetooth-Programmable-Rechargeable/dp/B00EZL1N6U
what about this one?

I use the Logitech K410. Perfect and not too pricey.
sorry for the bump but... does k410 works via bluetooth ot you use the USB dongle with a cable?

I wasn't part of this thread, but I hvae used logitech products with my android devices that were meant for windows. I have my Trackball M570 and one of my wireless K800 keyboard both connected to the same wireless dongle. When I want to use them with my Note 10.1 2014, I plug wireless receiver dongle into an adapter, like this OTG cable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GM0OZ4O/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
So, it connects wirelessly as it would to the pc, not via bluetooth.
Only other thing to note is, the apps Logitech has for Android keyboards will not work with things like the k800.
There are miniaturized keyboards with touch pads and often a remote control on the other side for smart tvs. But these are wifi based, maybe additionally with bluetooth. Or there's some wireless remote(the wifi ,not IR kind) or wifi keyboard driver/app for Android.
I found this one
http://www.amazon.it/LEICKE®-Sharon...kmr0&keywords=tastiera+touchpad+note+10.1+014
It's very cool, but they don't sell a version with Italian layout (And the keyboard is not attached to the cover, but you can fix it with some glue XD)
Do you know something similar sold with different layouts?

[Q] Compatible Wireless Keyboards

Hey All,
Hope you are all well,
I'm looking to purchase a New wireless keyboard with a trackpad something similar to the Logitech K400 but since that's out of budget can anyone recommend any other keyboards ?
I have seen one on ebay but not sure if it will work ? Is it possible to use any Bluetooth or wireless keyboard ?
its around £10 but not sure if it will work ? its a 2.4G Wireless Mini Fly Air Keyboard Mouse Touchpad
Lenovo N5902 works great. There is even a backlit model. If you can be patient, I keep my eye on slickdeals dot net for when they go on sale.

Hi. Happiest of Holidays!
I've tested many keyboards over the past several years and sent them all back but one. The K400R. Though not perfect, t's just the best bang for the buck.
IMO, number 2 would be the Rii I8 which is also sold under many other names, and can be had for under $15.
Good luck.
I use my smartphone with an app called Droidmote client. The app Droidmote server are installed on all three of my FireTv and I can use my smartphone to control all three of my FireTV. Sure bets buying 3 different wireless remotes. The app is working well, no complaint. I tried the Rii 8 and was not happy with it (keys repeat on their own) so I returned it
EDIT: you will need your FireTV rooted in order to use Droidmote Server
I'm also using a K400R. Works like a charm. Most of the time can be found for $20 or less, so I cant recommend it enough
Hi,
I have tested the Logitech k220 and its mouse. they are perfect. last year, I bought them in Thailand. It's about 16$
