Recently flashed the most recent lineage to my tab pro 10.1 (sm-t520) and that is ok.
Having problems when flashing GAPPs - installed the ARM 7.1 stock package, and each time my tablet freezes at "android is starting" and endless loading. Any ideas?
hello
first root the tablet

Had exactly the same problem, the workaround was to install a small version of Gapps.
Do a wipe then reinstall 7.1 then add the nano version of Gapps.
I have no idea what caused this problem. Separately I also noted that Twrp 3.1.1 crashes when doing a backup another bug ?

Hi guys! I have a problem with my note 2 n7100... When i install every marshmallow rom, when i reboot it gives a bootloop. It doesn't happen with tw roms (like eclipse...it works fine). What should i do? I use the last version of twrp and i use open gapps

Could be some compatibility issue... but I don't really know what causes the setup wizard to crash, experienced the same sometimes.
The most easy way to go for you is just to flash your ROM, reboot and set it up with the setup wizard provided in the ROM. Reboot to recovery after you set your rom up and flash Gapps.

I have a samsung galaxy s4 mini G19195 serranoltexx and I can install the latest lineage os nightly build (20171103) for this phone no problem. But as soon as I try flashing open G apps I get a "System Setup keeps crashing" error notification and no matter how many times I click on "close application" this error keeps popping up.
It's very frustrating as I would like to use Gapps but I'm not even sure what the problem is. Am I flashing the correct version of openGapps? Is this a bug with openGapps or LineageOS? It's very frustrating as there are many versions of openGapps available for download but no clear guide on which exact version I should download.
The same problm
I deleted the lineage os. & replaced with resurrection remix 5.8.4.
I am getting problms with battry
If you want to keep using lineage os. Instal the os without installing gapps.
After make sur that the os fully installed then install gapps and update service Google play
Injoy
@daloonik
You must flash the Rom and gapps at the same time without booting.
The right gapps are V7.x and Arm Version, use nano or pico Version.
@bierma32 Yes that's what I tried. Except that the Open Gapps version (both nano and pico) would crash the Lineage OS setup and I would get into an error notification loop. Anyway I ended up foregoing Google Apps and using Aptoide instead. I just would like to know where I should report this bug because it's unclear if it's an Open Gapps problem or Lineage OS problem.
@yahiahedna Even after completing the setup for Lineage OS and flashing gapps I still had the Google apps crashing error
I use an Opengapps Version Pico from 04.02.2017 ARM 7.x without problems.
Other question ,which TWRP Version you are using 3.1.x , if yes try a 3.0 or 2.8.7.0 Version

It doesn't sound like you are flashing them together before booting . Flash LOS then Gapps and only then boot to system setup otherwise the permissions are not set, and you will get problem what you describe @yahiahedna
Download official linageos 14
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga.../rom-cyanogenmod-14-0-s4-mini-3g-lte-t3471761
Then download gapps
1) wipe the data & cash. flash the lineage zip.
2) reboot your phone & complete installation
Make sure that the lineage fully started and runs without problems
3) reboot your phone into recovery mode
& flash the gapps without wiping cash or data.
Shut your device on and sign in into Google account.
Notes:
Use arm gapps for arm device.
Use twrp recovery. Bcs cwmr 6.0.4.7 is incompatible with gapps
Hello, everyone.
I was using a Pixel Experience 9.0 custom ROM on Mi Pad 4 and tried installing Bliss Rom today. However, issues arise and share.
- When I install the latest version of Bliss Rom through TWRP and reboot, the Bliss Rom boot screen does not appear. just the Fastboot screen appears.
- I thought that the Fastboot appeared, and the custom ROM was not installed properly, so I googled, but I couldn't find any information.
- The version I installed was Bliss-v12.5-clover-OFFICIAL-20200326 and I tried installing the 20200317 build, but it failed.
- I installed the old build, Bliss-v12.2-clover-OFFICIAL-20200128, so that installation was successful.
- After this, the latest version is installed from TWRP without Wipe, so OS update is successful.
Are there any known issues like the above?
Hi all,
While I have successfully installed Lineage 14.1 and the GApps 7.1 on my Tab Pro 12.2, I can't get it to install Lineage 17.1. I had issues getting 14.1 onto it until I loaded a new bootloader file through Odin (BL_T900XARBOJ1), but I can't seem to find a bootloader that will let me install Lineage 17.1. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Similar problem
-- sorry, wrong device, please disregard. I can't seem to find a delete button. Newby passing through.--
I have not previously installed custom ROMs on my devices. Now I am also trying to install Lineage 17.1 on my Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and thus far have been unable. Maybe your experience is similar to mine:
I used ODIN to flash the latest TWRP to the boot loader and booted to recovery (so Samsung system boot would not replace TWRP with stock recovery) and TWRP recovery is stable. In TWRP, I installed SuperSU from a zip file on the extSD. After booting into the stock system, I was prompted to finish rooting, which I did using TWRP. Once I was able to reliably boot into recovery or normally (stock system), I booted to recovery and made a backup of my stock image. I have reliably flashed Samsung stock image, which boots to the initial setup process, and restored by backed up image, which boots to the previously configured state.
At this point I downloaded the Lineage 17.1 image zip file onto the extSD card and tried flashing it from recovery. While unzipping the image, the recovery screen shows a couple of error messages, along the lines of image is 'for device v1awifi but this device is .' and flashing fails. I believe at this point rebooting hangs with the Samsung logo animation, but I have been able to boot recovery and restore my previous rooted Samsung stock state. Custom ROM Manager confirms my device Codename is v1awifi.
Is this what you experienced? If not, how is your experience different? Can you describe your approach, what steps you've taken, and where the process does not go as expected?

So you are on TWRP 3.4.0-0?
Although I own a P900 I had problems flashing 17.1 before updating to 3.4.0-0.
And for 17.1 I used BiTGapps instead of opengapps for the last didn't like it.
Does anyone know how to modify this note 12.2 LOS 17 zip so it can be flashed on tab 12.2? https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-lineage-17-1-android-10-q-20201221.4152395/
I was able to get it installed on my Tab pro 12.2 T900. It gets stuck on the bootup lineage logo screen. I guess android 10 on this device is too good to be true.

I had the same issue. You need to flash 17.1 over 14.1.

I tried this and it isn't working. Any suggestions? Can you help me out? Nevermind, its working this time! I tried many times, but the final time I didn't clear cache and it worked .
NVM not working again...
I clean flashed lollipop with odin, then twrp, then lineageos14.1, configure it, and dirty flashed 17.1, and at the moment it's working. No root installed.
