Google Play download problem. - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hello I have a OP3 , Stock ROM V4.5 with Franco Kernel ( latest ) , and just faced a problem when I can't download some games. They are stuck in some infinite downloading loop... Like in photo, but other games I can download and everything work's perfect expecting I can't update Hungry Shatk Word and can't download PVZ2... I forced closed , wipe data , wipe cache, disable google play store and nothing works... Can someone give my an idea ? Thank you !

Try to download on cellular network. If it works it's a problem with your wifi. Sometimes the phone find it hard to download things from the play store if you use ipv6 on your wifi. Try to disable ipv6 on your router.

Rooted?
If so go to /data/media/obb search for the obb file (for the specific app you're haven't problem with) and either move or delete it.

for example when i tried update my angry bird space free edition the error message is : Update for "Angry Birds Space" could not be downloaded due to an error.(403)
and if i tried to download new app for example "dog vs cat" here is the error message : "Dog VS Cat" could not be downloaded due to an error.(403)
i live in Indonesia and using THREE as my provider
-Rooted and bootloader unlocked
-Model number : R800i
-Android version : 2.3.4 (stock rom)
-Baseband version : 8x55A-AAABQMAZM-203028D-56
-Kernel version : 2.6.32.9-DooMKernel [email protected] #14 (but it's seems it's not the kernel problem)
-build number : 4.0.2.A.0.42
i already tried to uninstall google play store update, but when it's automaticaly updated to "Google Play Store" the problem still occur.
(I tried to download from the old market but still the problem occur but without the error message just suddenly the download notification disapear)
and i already tried cleared the cache and data of both the Google Play Store app and the Download manager.
oh and dalvik cache too
i already tried delete the account.db and add it back, i already tried to use my sister google accout.
and even maybe i tried something that even i can't remember
i don't know what to do anymore i already google it and ask the google play support team but they said this :
"Thanks for following up and for providing those additional details about
the issue you're experiencing on Google Play. In reviewing the information

Have you tried clearing the market's data then rebooting?
To me it sounds like you accidently deleted a protocol, backup transport, sim toolkit - a system file that manages those things -
while you were uninstalling bloatware or so. Have a check for it

Reflash the Gingerbread Google Apps zip file. Mine did the same a while back and a flash fixed it

What I meant was f.e. When I delete the 'SIM Toolkit' via Titanium backup. The 3g service won't work anymore. WIFI is still up and running great, I can also switch 3G on, but it won't ever give a service cause the SIM Toolkit is deletet.
Maybe you have accidently deletet such a backup service / transport protocol. So the downloading from the App store become impossible .
Whoaa thanks for the reply guys

btw i tried to factory reset my phone, and finally i choose to install the gin2ics rom and i love it but the problem still there
and now i think about using alternative market for my phone any suggestion what market should i use? i want the best one (like amazon, opera mobile app store, fireplace market, etc )
sorry for bad english
It seems that Google Play need really good connection to download apps.
I made a trial, using same wifi connection but with different setting on router, that is the bandwith limiter.
One without limitation simply download the apps, and with 128kbps limitation the phone always fail to download with the same error message.
Also downloading from GPRS and bad 3G connection can make the same failure.
Delete the proxy in acces point setting, i'm using 3 operator too and its really work
error 403
try to use your vpn settings configure it,or any 3 rd party app.same problem i had with yours before now playstore is working fine.its a network thing i might say that causes the problem.freee vpn servers are everywhere...browse

Sandvoid ICS 0.13 rom, google play store doesn't load images

Hi all,
My HTC Desire with Sandvoid Beta 0.13 rom works greate except the google play store. It doesn't load images both in wifi and 3g mode. I tried to clear data but no luck. When I flash new rom, I formated all except the sdcard.
Does anybody have same problem or have solution?
Thank you.
which version do you use exactly? 0.13 or 0.13.1?
i have 0.13.1 and everything works perfectly. i just checked the market.
did you discover any other bugs or missing images, in other applications?
and have you tried to wipe data + cache again, and reinstall the rom?
I use version 0.13, not 0.13.1
I did "format all partitions (except sdcard)" before flash this rom.
I just tried to wipe cache + david and reboot (not reinstall the rom because I did format all partitions before install) but it doesn't work. I can use browser to browse the play store correctly, images display.
Is there any way to check what exactly error is? some kind of error log?
Thank you.
well, if your web browser shows the pictures correctly, then try to update your google play.
i think 3.5.19 is the latest version:
http://www22.zippyshare.com/v/99932187/file.html
I think I use latest version of play store (3.5.19).
I used the Android system info app to check the logs and got many logs about one application connect to a server with very long waiting time (~30 seconds). The servers are lh*.ggpht.com with * is a number 3, 4, 5...
I check that domain is belong to Google inc. I think those are images that is not able to load.
i don't know much about log files, but the one above looks fine.
try the following (if not already done):
go to settings -> apps -> all apps -> google play -> clear cache
and then tell me if anything happened ^^
I tried but no luck.
Btw, I confirm that those urls in log file are images from google play store. But I can't load them on both of my phone and PC. I think it's network problem.
that's strange, since you said it occurs on both wifi and 3G.
i can access those thumbnails without a problem.
maybe you should restart/reconfigure your wlan router?
otherwise i'm out of ideas
Thank you. I'm asking some helps from my friends to check if it's my ISP problem or not.
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
Now I can confirm that it's my ISP poblem. So we have nothing to do.
Thanh you for your help.
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk 2
good to know.
can be closed ... or whatver
If you still have this problem, for me clearing the data and cache of the download manager did the trick.
It doesn't help.

[HELP REQUEST] Apps from Google Play Store won't download via wi-fi! (a brand new XP)

Hi guys,
this is driving me nuts. I've searched the webs and found some answers, but not anything I'd like to do to remedy this problem.
My brand new R800i, not rooted, won't download games from Google Play Store via wi-fi. It will just say "starting download" and then nothing happens, I can just just watch that bar indicating download as it does not move one bit. It seems some other people had this same problem, as I've found out on the internet. 3G works fine though. I had to download my games from the Play Store using 3G, which is a pain in the ass.
A few points to consider:
- I have only so far used one wi-fi point, which worked with all my previous Xperia Plays. Maybe if I try a different hot-spot, the problem will magically disappear?
- I do not want to root, unlock bootloader or do any such things with my XP.
- I do NOT want to reset my phone to factory settings, I would lose lots of savegame data.
- I HAVE tried several times clearing the cache of the Google Store app, Download Manager app and resetting the Google Talk app. Did not help.
- Downloading from any other source (Gameloft for example) works via wi-fi, it's just that stupid Google Play Store that does not.
- Some people say the problem should sort itself out after a few days...It's been two weeks and I still can't download via wi-fi from the Store.
Could any kind soul suggest a solution that does not involve resetting my phone, or rooting? Thanks for any advice.

Yes, did not help.
Besides, that just erases your user data right? Your log-in and password.
I will try it again just to be sure, but I think I did it too.
i too had same prob. but it got solved after 3 or 4 days... may be i was lucky.
Used to have this problem. Uninstall update ( this will get you back to old market) then let it update again. That's what I did.

...doesn't work for me, nor does anything else mentioned before Tried installing 3.8.15 via .apk and back to stock, clearing cache, data etc. Play Store works with UMTS/EDGE but not as good as before (takes a while before download actually starts, that behavior is new). With WiFi I don't get an error message but the download simply doesn't start. Everything else I do via WiFi works great (FTP-syncing calendar data stored on my NAS, browsing the web, file transfer via ES-FileExplorer and so on).
I use a Galaxy S3 with Siyah Kernel (1.5rc1), XXBLG8 Stock Firmware and XXLH1 modem. Same Market issue before the update (Siyah 1.4, Stock XXALE8, stock modem (May 2012)). So maybe it is not at all model related, but something with the market itself... Strangely I found just a few posts about this - here I have the most hope for help

First: I know I am in the wrong model section, as I use a Galaxy S3 but post under Sony Xperia... Sorry for that - it was just a topic that seemed Google Play Store related rather than dependant on a specific model.
Second: I tried all of this (although I don't have such a section under settings/accounts on my phone) and more. I just flashed the latest stock firmware again*, did a full wipe, used TriangleAway! and every single thing I can think of. I even went to my google-account to see if there's something wrong, but no.
Still: UMTS works, WiFi doesn't. WiFi otherwise perfectly working with all kinds of uses. Tried all tips and hints, nothing works. Problem started a few days ago with older fw/ROM, which I didn't touch for weeks and worked fine until then. I really don't have a clue what changed!
EDIT: I also checked, if my ISP or my WLAN settings (router) are off - nada. I tried to install/update an app on another Android device in my household: this one works perfectly with WiFi. So it must be the Store itself...
UPDATE: Still no real solution! In the meantime it worked for a few days without my doing and in the same way it stopped working again today. I guess the Google server software is bugged. I placed a support request at Google-Support. This was an experience I can't make public enough:
Even though I initially told them what I tried they just did a copy&paste of their own F.A.Q. This went on for four days, the didn't even read my information. And I was quite thorough. I even made a network capture file, prefiltered it with Wireshark and attached it to the e-mail. As proof that my firewall isnt't blocking the traffic. No reaction to that, no technician was asked or involved, nothing. They simply closed the ticket and left me standing there. I'm still pretty pi...ed. This kind of "support" I don't want at all. Just a waste of time. I sincerely hope for a Google PlayStore replacement so one is not practically forced to use it. I'd volunteer to pay 1$ more for each buy just to circumvent that kind of nonsense Google is playing here.
This is me again. My problem is back, I can't download via WiFi from Google play store on both my Xperia play and Nexus 7. What is strange though is that SOME apps will download while others will not. It seems that apps I paid for some amount /like GTA 3, Max Payne, Reckless Racing/ and that were never completely free, WILL download. Others that I got for free /e.g. Call of Mini Zombies, Juggernaut, Heroes Call and many others/ will not download. This seems peculiar to me. Did anyone have this kind of behaviour on your android device?

Need help making play store work

Hello guys I am facing a strange problem with play store from a few days. I cannot update or download apps from playstore, it says downloading and stays there forever. I have tried countless tips/tricks but nothing works. Here are the things I have tried(not in order):
Clearing cache and data of play store+services+download manager, re flash gapps, re flash ROM, flash new ROM, change DNS, use vpn, trying different G-accounts, downloading on 3g, 4g, different wifi hotspots. Now I am really frustrated because nothing works. And I am not comfortable with downloading apps from other sources. My device is Lenovo K5 plus (AOKP Nougat).
