A simple Magisk module to run MotoCamera 6.0.84.1 (Lastest Official Moto Z Play Camera App) as privileged app (priv-app) on custom roms, this way you can save photos and videos in external SDCard, tested on Official LineageOS 14.1.

Hello Guys, I want to update my stock rom I'm running version 4.1.2 on E987 (Argentina version),
what do you recommend for for daily use?
Thanks!
Cyanogenmod 11 (with solid kernel) or any AOSP based ROM(with Faust Kernel). CM have very good performance and good battery, less stable than AOSP. AOSP best battery life but lower performance than CM, very stable

Good I will try with CM, I saw the stable version of 10.2 only
Omni Rom 4.4.2
AOSP 4.4.2
(4.4.2) Paranoid Android 4.3 (Beta 3)
I'm looking for one which has an amazing battery life (i have a 4000mAH extended battery)
Gaming
calling someone and receiving a call
smooth and incredibly fast
and well everyday use
Omni is good for that usage, but aosp too. I didn't test paranoid though...
Send... i hope so
Paranoid for me is a bit laggy compare to Omni

Mahdi is best to me.
Изпратено от моят GT-I8160.
For me the best is CM11 by Maclaw + zwliew kernel. Good for daily use and stable OC
Resurrection Remix smooth & stable for me
Latest carbon with justArchi's v3 optimizations, build with sabermod 4.8.3 toolchain
well mahdi+zwliew kernel is enough, but AOSP and Omni is nice too.........
unfortunately tethering on Omni isn't working for me......
asking for 'best' rom is like asking for a favourite color
also, battery and performance depends on how you configure your phone (apps, gov, cpu freq, etc) and what kind of use you give to it
you should try them all and decide by yourself

Thanks for the file. Today I will try it. Btw does manual focus of camera work on lineageOS 14-15? I tried lineageOS 14 and result quality is not as from stock rom. HDR, 16MPx are OK, but manual focus doesnt work, color balance is dull and image are not so sharp as in Stock. I tried Google camera app, FreeDCam, Footej, Cyanogen Snap....
Therefore i want to try flash stock rom, test camera and then again flash lineageaoS. Do you think that will help?
Tx for time and feedback.
It does not work, the screen stays black and every 10 seconds the start android apps message jumps when starting
I want to try dragonvibe kernel Oc,could this rom work on my CN version?
Snapdragon 810 is still a good chipset as compared to mid rangers like Snapdragon 625,626 and even 630.

Can anyone recommend a ROM for my Moto Z Play XT1635-02 32GB?
I have been using stock rom (8.0) quite some time, but it doesn't work well: 1. short of storage because of many baked-in APPs that I cannot uninstall. 2. Very laggy
Also Motorola stopped pushing any ROM upgrade, even no security patches.
Can anyone recommend a stable ROM that is lightweight, smooth and prefer Android 9.0?
Really appreciate your suggestion.
Alberto or experiencie 13. Excelents roms.

AOSP by Alberto97 (32 and 64 bits), AOSIP by fablebreton (32 and 64 bits) and Xperience by TeamMex are excellent ROMs .
AOSIP have great mods . Xperience is trebble ROM.
In my case, as I like something closer to the original Google, without any modification, i prefer Alberto's AOSP.
Know that both are wonderful ROMs with continuous support.
Imei lost, does not recognize chip. I did not backup from efs. How to solve?
I'd be concerned as to why your stock 8.0 is laggy to be honest. I have a OP6 as well as the Z Play and I choose to use the Z Play over it as the performance is still very good. It isn't perfect, but very rarely would I notice lag.
Try a reset before going into custom ROMs.
Here im use the lineageos 16 and works perfectly as well, most People use the Alberto aosp its a great rom...
Here the lineageos its very resposive and score 79K on antutu, its a great score in a moto Z play i guess...
