PS: This is not official MIUI by MIUIPro, this build was ported by me.
This ROM is the MiuiPro variant from http://miuipro.by, ROM contains gapps.
Wipe/factory reset from TWRP and flash ROM and reboot
Root using magisk. Dolby Atmos Le Pro 3 by ahrion working on this ROM (search google)
You must be on EUI for it to work.

It's good for c106 but i think you can use with c103 too.

Plz I want camera which support SLR mode, otherwise dual camera will be useless

I flashed it on my C103 and these are the following bugs I faced
Sim 2 doesnt show network.. It detects sim but no network for sim 2
Unable to call from sim 1 but mobile data and sms from sim 1 works absolutely fine..
Waiting for a fix~

Hello Everybody!
I am new here. I found some answers but not all what i am looking.
1. I woud like to install custom ROM to my Lenovo P2, cause my provider not update the system. Anybody can give me a good tutorial how i do it?
Is there any android pie build that support main features (VOLTE, FastCharge, Extra Battery Save on left side slider on phone etc)?
1) Does Fast Charging work in Android pie 9?
2) Does the Side button, (ultra power saving) work?
3) Is camera (both front and rear) working properly without issues?
4) Can we change the phone name to Lenovo P2 from Pixel XL?
5) Will the phone be 'Certified' in google play store? - I mean, can we use Magisk Hide feature in this after rooting?
6) Can both sim 1 and 2 have VOLTE? - If not at a time but wither of them?..
7) Generally how is it compared to previous OS? Any bugs you noticed so far?

No stable android pie ROMs. Only the treble builds available
4 question is weird
5 always possible with Magisk and latest gapps
6 must be tested
2 doesn't work on any custom ROM available.

Trust me I have tried them all multiple times and I think Resurrection Remix pie 7.0.1 is the best by far.

Which custom GSI ROM works well with the stock Android pie?

I've been using Pixel experience ROM without issues until I upgraded my phone to latest pie and went back to the custom ROM. However, the fingerprint is not working on Pixel Experience again.
Any help on a working GSI ROM will be appreciated. Thanks.

I tried AEX, Arrow, Descendant and Havoc (On android Pie)
The screen border are good only on havoc and the fingerprint work.
Fingerprint doesn't work on AEX sure. I don't remember on Arrow and on Descendant.

This GSI is beautiful, there is a lot of possibility to customize with full darktheme. If you don't want to use the gapps you can, else you have to flash open gapps. Personally my two favorites gsi are Lineage OS and Havoc OS because Havoc is based on Lineage.
The Camera is the google camera, the same camera of the pixel experience rom.
If you have to install a gsi install havoc.

The pixel experience fingerprint bug also happened to me. What i do is repeat the whole flashing by flashing stock 9.6.4.0 in edl and then flashing the gsi. Works well again. Btw im using havoc it has alot of customization and features but not so fluid

Thanks for the response. But have you tried the latest stock pie for mi a2 lite before going back to those custom ROMs. Downgrading from pie screw up the Sim 1slot. I don't know if you've noticed that.

Thanks brother. Do you mean to say Downgrading from Pie to Oreo (9.6.4.0) flashing in edl (and not fastboot) solves the fingerprint and sim1 bugs??

Correct. Downgrade to oreo and dont relock the bootloader. Just follow the guide here https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/guide-how-to-install-gsi-treble-rom-t3853404

I tried what you said bro. From pie 10.0.2, I downgraded to 9.6.4.0 via edl flashing.
However, the Sim 1 slot does not work. I repeated same procedure flashing 9.6.9, same outcome.
Eventually I had to re-flash 10.0.2 to make the two Sims work.
Problem with flashing GSI ROM on 10.0.2 is that the fingerprint does not work. You cannot even do fingerprint registration.
In the end, I had to install the GSI (pixel experience) not minding a screwed fingerprint.
The ability to copy texts from recent apps is one cool feature of that ROM that I can't meet go

Did you turn off the encryption? Sometimes the encryption is getting in the way. And have you followed the guide on the link?

Does gsi improve gaming performance?

I think Custom Rom and Stock Rom are better than GSI for gaming but I'm not sure.

I didn't. Maybe that was the culprit .

I later search this platform and learnt that you can flash the Pie modem.img after downgrading to Oreo. That has solved the problem.

That solves the problems partly... SIM cards are still switched and 2nd sometimes doesn't work... Same as volte...
This method lets you go to back to oreo without any sim problem...

to fix sim cards you need doing some commands from PC when phone in TWRP mode:
adb shell
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p40
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p41
exit
100% works, confirmed

No double Tap to wake on few Roms

Hi,
I need help with double tap to wake function.
I was on MIUI watied to unlock bootloader and then it works on miui.
Today I've change my ROM after unblocking the device.
ON RR, Nitrogen OS and Havoc 2.1 ( all PIE ) it doesn't work even if it's on in Screen option or after Root by kernel editor ( To wake option )
I was try to load few kernels without success.
Could you please help my with this issue ? Doble tap to wake it's most importand thing for me as a driver for daily using.

Maybe someone will have the same. I'm on ambient light function it work's, but I want to use DTW normally like other people. Any ideas ?

It's strange becouse it's my second 5 pro, only difference is that new one is global version not china and was it's without security level. Before level was 4 and on havoc 2.0 pie d2t was working.

No. I was running Xiaomi.eu and MIUI Pro Roms.
There was a instruction how to change the data in ROM from .zip file, but it was to hard and risky for me.
I gout Mi9 T and my wife Whyred and for her it's ok with miui ROM.

VoLTE Fix for Lineage 16 by harry8242

As stated this custom rom does not support VoLTE. Is there a work around to this bug ? I found a few solutions for nougat and oreo but none of them work on Lineage 16 (i guess because it's Pie).
Kindly help to get a work around for VoLTE on pie rom or specific to this rom (Lineage 16 by Harry 8242) for Vibe K5 Plus (a6020a46) 2 GB ram variant.

and it was quite wired it worked.. I can give you the link give it a try once

Can you please post the link for the fix, although the none of the fixes for Oreo worked in Pie, but I'll still give it a try.

I tried the VOLTE fix,it didn't work as expected but when I serched for enchanced 4g mode it appeared in results.but sadly it didn't take me where it was..

Methinks that working with the vibe K5 plus is difficult. While we can see phones with similar capabilities like redmi 4 getting fully working pie ROMs. Soon they will receive Q updates. The vibe K5 plus is still stuck at Oreo.

Hallo is there a possibillity to get the volte to run on lineage os 16. i am look for more as 10h for a fix but every patch kill my os and i have after the patch a stuck!
