[Q] LCD Resolution help

Hi, I installed the application "LCD Resolution" and it's working great, besides the TWLauncher. Is there a way to fix how it looks, or a way to get the one from the Galaxy Note which has a higher resolution display to fit the one I put on the application?

So there's a setting inside ROM toolbox under build.prop tweaks. It let's you choose the resolution of the device. So this got me wondering if you can actually change the resolution of a phone or is the resolution of a device a limitation of the phone's screen. I know on computer monitors its really easy to alter the resolution and wasn't sure if a mobile device could function the same way. I tried changing the resolution from 720*1280 to 768*1280. It didn't brick my device but I'm not sure if it actually did anything.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

I don't think you can change the resolution
You can change the DPI but that's about it

Not doable. Even if forced to render/emulate FHD, It's still doing a post Processing conversion that will consume more energy than stock settings.

Definitely your device must be rooted (to recoever). Well I used "Resolution Changer Pro" by nexter and NOMone as well for lenovo K3 note ,and had a better better backup. If you want you can try these 2 apps, to see which one fits better.
A long Warning - The onscreen buttons may become non-responsive completely if switch to a non-compatible resolution. So better google well first to understand how to recover/reset from that. I had to change some codes in my case to get the on screen keys back, and my capactive keys are now gone for good.

Touch screen not working after Resolution change

Hello, I have a unit with 800x480 screen which I used to operate in a higher resolution set with Easy DPI. I was on Android 8 with the Hal9k mod. I upgraded to Android 9 (a stock HA rom) and rooted so Easy DPI can operate. Now I can change the resolution (1024x600 and 1280x720 both work) but the touch screen does not work after that (actually the bottom half is not working; I can only work on the upper half of the screen). Has anyone seen this before? Should I change anything else? I let the DPI to the default (240).

Question Is there a way to have the rgb on all the time when the screen is off and on ?

Any one know of any way to do this ?
