In my note 7 the blue light filter is missing from quick panel. How to restore/add it there? Please help
What carrier is you phone on?
Yes me too! No blue light filter under quick notification toggle. If need to set blue filter need to go to the setting menu.
Btw, did u also notice that 'content scaling' also missing under setting? Or yours still have it ?

No. It has an "Ambient Display" that lights up when you get a notification or if you have it set to light up with a double tap or lift to wake.
An Always-On-Display would be nice though, especially with this screen.

Hi,
Just want to know is there AOD on huawei nova 3?
you may try AOD+ from https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-6-0-aod-display-rooted-rooted-t4082935
Haven't seen anyone talking about the new effect for edge lighting+ in good lock, it's called eclipse! It's for notifications, with the ability to set specific colors for each app. It utilizes the ring around the camera cutout. It's a great new update!
it doesnt work properly
only for text sms
Not so good. I tested.
Then went back to AOE

It's not new....
Edge light plus also works as standalone with the ring light up option.
I uninstalled it, doesn't work with screen off.

Umm I'm using the eclipse effect with screen on/off and on all apps not just system ones.

Yeah mine definitely works with other apps such as Instagram and snapchat, so yeah. Not sure how it doesn't work exactly lol.
Oh it does work..if you turn the screen on after you get the notification then you get the light ring with the popup notifying you, otherwise no it doesn't work with most apps with the screen off. If it works for you that way then fantastic, I just know I am not the only one that states this

Found a workaround with Tasker + AutoNotification
Basically, Edge Lighting only works for apps that want to wake the screen up. So let's ask Tasker to do that.
Example for Messenger :
Code:
Profile: Messenger (55)
Event: AutoNotification Intercept [ Configuration:Event Behaviour: true Notification Apps: Messenger ]
State: Display State [ Is:off ]
Enter: Anon (56)
A1: Notify [ Title:FB Text:%antitle : %antext Icon:%anstatusbaricon Number:0 Permanent:off Priority:5 Repeat Alert:off LED Colour:Blue LED Rate:0 Sound File: Vibration Pattern: Category:Test Actions:(1) ]
Exit: Anon (57)
A1: Turn On [ Block Time (Check Help):500 ]
Then set AutoNotification to automatically delete any notif from Tasker with title containing "Mess" and set Edge Litghting to the color of your choice for notif with "Mess" as title (blue for instance).
When phone screen is off, you'll get a blue Edge Lighting notification saying "Mess John Doe : Blah blah blah". When you turn the screen on you'll only see the Messenger notification since the Tasker one that produced the Edge Lighting will have been deleted.
Rinse and repeat for as many apps as you want. Filter in AN for deleting Tasker notifs should look like (Mess)|(WhatsApp)|(Uber)|(etc.) with regex on.
I wanted to use edge lighting on my galaxy m51, but it doesn't support Samsung edge lighting. I tried 'always on edge lighting', but it doesn't use system aod and looks weird when lighting up on notification. Then I tried aodNotify, but it doesn't allow separate effects for aroundScreen and aroundCamera lightings. aodNotify supports system aod lighting, but not separate effects. always on edge supports separate effects but not system aod. Is there anyway to combine both these into a single app? (sweatgrinning)
What I want ultimately is
uses system aod to light up edges on notifications
allows separate effects for aroundScreen light up (while screen-off, using system aod) and aroundCamera (while screen-on)
