Did you know that there is ColorOS 2.0 ROM for P6?

Installation
Can be installed from either version of TWRP
1. Boot to recovery
2. Wipe dalvik, cache, system, data, custom storage
3. Install ROM
4. Reboot
If you don't read Chinese, first start can be very tricky, getting around setup prompts. Try playing with back and recent apps keys to get out of loop.

whatsapp not working (use disa), not gapps (need gapps packade to flash), weather location and etc.
and rom folder password protected (can not be edited)..

Tried to boot it and the phone kept vibrating all the time so im back on B507

Nice rom.. but when screen off data conection lost and turn on again manual when screen on.

It's a nice ROM but believe me it's not worth the trouble, since you already tried MIUI

Try the mokee rom.... i have been using it... It's stable , fat and battery efficient... can't post the link to the took... Google mokee hikari

hi there.. how to install mokee?? is it just like the other custom rom installation?

are those the steps? or do i need to format system as well?
already downloaded the file but im waiting for the confirmation of the steps..

You don't need to format system... just flash the boot.img and then install it like any other custom Rom... If you need to grant root access to all apps without them asking for it .. You can change the settings in superuser to do that

What version should i install first? Nightly or Release?

I went to the website bro. I saw 2 kinds of releases the nightyly and i think the other one is named RELEASE but i assumed it would be the official one they had an update in the nightly version this june 4 So i should just install the official release and OTA to the current nightyly build?

Mekoo seems great. Tried the first unofficial that came. It has improved greatly. Ext_sd is working perfectly.

[ROM][Stock Based][Z010D/ZC550KL] CleanMAX for Zenfone Max

Features:
De-bloated, Rooted, BusyBox installed, Deodexed, Zipaligned, Sqlite3 binary, smoother interface, better RAM management, full kernel control (install Kernel Adiutor from Playstore), improved internet/data speed, tweaked read/write from memory. GPS accuracy improved.
Notes:
Just download the Asus apps you need from the Playstore. Download Asus Weather for the Lockscreen Clock.
As this is stock based, kernel CPU is still controlled by default Power Manager app, so set it to Performance to maximize CPU speeds.

Instructions:
You must be on Marshmallow firmware with TWRP installed to flash this ROM.
Back up your current rom, check Boot, Aboot, System, Data in TWRP/Backup.
Clean install required. Wipe Cache/Dalvik/Data in TWRP.
Flash Rom zip.
Initial boot may take longer than usual, normally 8-10 mins.
Once phone boots and you complete setting up, download, install and run Uni-init.apk to activate init.d support, then reboot to activate tweaks.

Btw is this rom got some major bugs etc? Does off charging work?
Im currently using the RR official rom running nougat 7.1.1
How can I change to this rom? Should I reflashed the stock recovery and then flash stock rom from asus before flashing twrp again then flash this rom?
Or can I flash this directly from twrp while on RR nougat rom? Thanks in advance

since CleanMax is stock based, the bugs from the Lineage based roms are not present, so no offline charging bug. coming from a Lineage based rom, you just have to do a clean wipe before flashing this on TWRP.

it's entirely up to you, flash Reaper or keep stock kernel. no problems with either

Higher ram usage than RR even there is nothing other app installed yet?
I did not flash any kernel just did follow all the instruction before I flash the rom zip file from the dl link
Did I do something wrong? Or it needs some tweaking before I can use it to its optimum performance/battery usage?

yes I did wipe the cache,dalvik & data on twrp before flashing the rom...
I did observe also the ram usage it's quite higher than RR so I did just restore to using RR for now but still I'm looking forward to use this rom in your future updates keep up the goodwork sir

Update: Flashed from MM stock and I've got bootlooped. Or may be it's because my stock MM is already on bootloop?

Flashed it on my device with absolutely no problems and it works as intended. I was previously using RR nougat ROM and I had no problem installing this after wiping everything in recovery except external storage (which contained the cleanMAX rom zip). Been using it for about a day and I`m pleased with the performance. Animations and system run smoothly and I haven`t encountered any errors or bugs yet. Ram usually sits at about 50-60% on casual use which is more than better for my taste. As for the battery, I can only say that it handles well so far. Installed the ROM this morning when battery was 90%, now it`s almost 8 pm and battery is at 70% having in mind I constantly used it for texting and installing my necesary apps. I figure I`d probably need a couple more days to see how the really battery performs. But overall for now I personally really like this rom, thank you creator!

INSTRUCTIONS: FOLLOW THE DAMN INSTRUCTIONS

No apps like file manager , stock browser u have to install all apps u needed.

This rom is absolutely awasome cz rom is smooth and high end games like fifa 16 running flawlessly without any lag...
But this rom has so many bugs please fix then this will be a awasome performance based rom...

Error 7 when installing with twrp3.0.2 and i used the repartitioning zip.
1. Wiped everything except sd card
2. Flashed the zip
3. Tried flashing rom.
Then error 7 showed up

For those who could not install this ROM, please read and follow the instructions carefully.
In my case, I could not use builder.prop in the post.
After I installed the ROM, I installed Delta GAPP in this link
I need Google Play to install an app for chating and I could not make MicroG to run Google Play service. So I use Delta GAPP instead.
Any questions about installing this ROM are welcome. I will try to answer as much as I can.

Try repartition manually from the link in the post. I also could not get the repartitioning zip to work.
You also need TWRP 3.1.1 or may be 3.2.1 to install the ROM.
This ROM is great. Hope you can install it soon.

The dual sim works fine. I have not tried all of the features. But from my daily use, this ROM is good enough.
The only problem is GAPPs. I am using Delta GAPP. Once I install Delta GAPP, phone is slowing down.
I tried to use A GAPP but the system partition is not enough for this. And I don't know how to re-partition to create bigger system partition.
If someone can modify A GAPP to use with this ROM, it will be perfect. A GAPP is very light and can be used with old phone really well.

so regarding build.prop use this file and flash it some problem will get fixed
and for gapps they slow down the phone a lot that why i never used them i download from apkmirror,apkpure or f-droid and you better use lite version of what you want to use (fb lit,m lite,line lite..etc)

Before this, I tried microG for GAPP in this link but could not get the Play Store up. I have tried microG on Samsung Galaxy S in this link. This is very light weight. I don't know how the developer create this microG for his build of Samsung Galaxy S1 ROM. The ROM runs very smooth with this microG and I can enter Play store that I need.
Your ROM is very cool. Works best so far for Nokia X. Really smooth for this limited RAM.

sorry but i already tried micro g and i never get signature spoofing to be set true and you could make it work but xposed never did function properly no matter what i did
i used this rom on my x as daily drive with and without gapps if you need gapps flash them but make sure you don't install so much app and don't over do your phone
and i hope you liked the new way your phone look and flash build.prop that i sent you it will correct some problem and fix some bug

OK. No problem.
I may try to repartition to increase system partition for install A-gapp.
Nokia X is very limited resource. I used to try install many apps and the phone brick in the end.
