Would need more info than just it didn’t work [emoji14]
What do you mean didn’t work? Error message?
Your using a usb 2.0 port correct? USB 3.0 won’t work.
Also who replaced the motherboard? LG? It’s quite possible you no longer have an H815

It appears that the LG G4 model for Israel is H815L - you want to confirm that is your model and then look for the firmware for the 6.0 kdz for that model for your specific carrier and, as suggested above, use LGUP-NEW (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lgup-install-kdz-mm-lp-t3249803) to upgrade.
The H815L model doesn't appear to have a bootloader that can be officially unlocked (I will stand corrected if that is not the case). If correct, you will not be able to root your device with android 6.0. You can however root android 5.1, following this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586
If you bought the phone originally from your carrier in Israel and LG didn't provide you the correct motherboard for your phone when they repaired it, you have a good case to go back to them and insist on the correct one.

But what error do you have in lgup?
What do you mean by hardware info? Only real way to know it’s have the phone apart and look at the actual motherboard. Hardware info will say whatever firmware is flashed on it.
If LG them selfs didn’t warranty it it’s quite possible it has a different mode motherboard. It’s extremely common with the G4.
All you do is run lgup, choose refurbish and choose the kdz file. There’s nothing more to do. Just don’t use usb 3.0 as it won’t work.

You upgrade to go from 5.1 to 6.0
You refurbish to go from 6.0 down to 5.1

In LGUP-NEW, in order for it to find the kdz file you have downloaded, you must first select upgrade and search for the file/folder where you placed the kdz you downloaded. If downgrading, you still have to select upgrade first, load the kdz when you select it, then close the LGUP-NEW app. When you re-open it, it will have the file that you selected ready to go and refurbish will already be selected.
Make sure that you are using LGMobileDriver_WHQL_Ver_4.2.0 on your PC as your driver. You can download it from the LG US support site, if you are not using the correct one.
As hyelton suggested already, the only sure way to know what your motherboard is, is to open the phone and look for the model number on the motherboard. My suspicion is that you should be using an H815L kdz but without motherboard model confirmation, one cannot be sure.

It sounds like a DLL file issue. You will need the correct DLL files for your phone model.
You could try using UPPERCUT: Add Any LG Device to LGUP for TOT/KDZ Flashing (G4|G5|G6|V10|V20|MORE???) from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/uppercut-lgup-loader-g5-variants-t3511295

You could check out this kdz: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/kdz-firmware-v20i-france-2016-10-04-t3474227
Seems it can be flashed (LGUP-NEW) successfully on a lot of different H815 models.
See if you can change the language in your settings. If not, read through the posts in this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/help/lg-g4-h815-hebrew-removed-restart-t3186330/page2) - one of the members has posted an app (in post # 12) that will help.
That's all I got for you. Wish you luck.

Thanks for letting me know. Glad you got there.
If you want to gain root now, check out the following thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/lg-g4-100-root-success-directives-root-t3180586
You can then install Xposed when rooted and customize your rom a bit.
I would also suggest you check out steadfasterX's TWRP-inFiSH (https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/development/locked-twrpinfish-locked-g4-devices-t3573048) - it's a custom TWRP version developed by him for LG G4's with locked bootloaders that will allow you to back up your rooted system image, so that you can always restore back to where you were. It works like a charm and I recommend it.

Thank you for your help, much appreciated. I have been running into this problem when trying to refurbish 47a or 48a. When LGUP is waiting 120 seconds for restart (about 80% in LGUP), my phone just keep restarting without completing the installation. It keeps bootlooping and then LGUP keeps waiting for my phone to restart. LGUP will say 100% but my phone is just bootlooping constantly.

Downgrade from MM to LL with LGUP is possible!

Just wanted everybody to know that you CAN downgrade your MM LG G4 for Verizon by using LGUP.
And this is how...
1). Download all The Files Below!
1) Firmware Files - Click HERE!
Or Here LGKDZ.com for your exact match KDZ for your model
2) Download LG Drivers - LG Drivers Here - 10.9 Mb
2.1)Verizon Drivers (Verizon Only)LG_VZW - 7.8 Mb
3..LGUP can be found on this website LG UP DOWNOAD
You have to sign into one of your accounts and like the page for them to open the downloads in the middle of the page.
4. install the drivers then the .msi file for LGUP. Usually there is a DLL file and the LGUP application, install the .DLL file then install LGUP.
5. First make sure that your phone is showing up on LGUP, if not make sure you have USB debugging enabled and the you are connected with MTP.
6. Find your .kdz file, and don't press start VERY IMPORTANT!!, Exit out of the application and then REOPEN LGUP and your 13b.KDZ should still be in the box at the bottom.
7. Now just press start and wait for it to do it's magic.
And now your back on LL and you can get back to rooting this phone.
And just so people know it is not possible to downgrade from LL to KK, it will brick your phone for some reason, and trust me I had to send mine back and get a knew one, nothing would get it to work again!
So that's how you get back to LL from MM, which seems to be the only way to have root at the moment...
One more thing, I was able to transfer the files for the effortless root on MM but you can't do any send_command.exe commands because it just says FAIL. but it did switch the system software from Official to Modified so it did something just not what I wanted it to do....
If there's anyone wondering why this works, it's because both the 13b and 24c kdz's both have the same qfuse number, so the bootloader accepts both without bricking. If Verizon ever puts out an update that increments the qfuse value and you take it, you won't be able to downgrade to 13b or 24c.
I have the kdz file but it wont let me put it on lgup. It's looking for a .tot file. Help would be greatly appreciated

This is the Verizon VS986 LG G4 section .

If there's anyone wondering why this works, it's because both the 13b and 24c kdz's both have the same qfuse number, so the bootloader accepts both without bricking. If Verizon ever puts out an update that increments the qfuse value and you take it, you won't be able to downgrade to 13b or 24c.

Thank you for the info! Just curious: how do you check the value of qfuse?
I did this on a Canadian variant H812 and it worked. Rooted right after and that worked too. I am a happy camper.
I loaded H81210n.
Anyone reading do note that I did not use the Verizon files above.

What you must do is tick the update and select the kdz file. Then close LGUP, open it again and select refurbish and kdz file should be there. Start the load.
This phone with L and root is perfect. No M for me until root (if it happens). Really enjoy having the changed DPI with root and no permanent notification for Priority mode.
You can DL from here, without "liking" anything. http://www.droidopinions.com/download-lgup-tool/

Hate to ask this but has anyone verified this? I'm wanting to do this to mine tonight but I don't have near the experience a lot of others do here.

I haven't done it just yet. And I know I'm not the smartest here. But to my knowledge yes you will lose everything. So always good to back up all your files. I've got all my photos backed up to google photos. over 5000 lol. But yeah from what I understand it's the same as doing a factory reset except instead of factory resetting back to MM you're factory resetting to LP.

OK, I did mine last night and using the refurbish mode as said does in fact delete all data.
((TO MODERATOR CAN WE GET THE ORIGINAL POST UPDATED TO INCLUDE THAT TO LOCATE THE KDZ FILE YOU NEED TO FIRST TICK THE UPGRADE CIRCLE)) I found it down the thread, But just figured it would be easier for others if it was included in the original post. Thanks
Big ups to everyone who made this happen!

Hey sorry but the www.lgkdz.com doesn't work. Is there another site we can find all lg firmware to downgrade for our exact lg variant match....
From OP second 1), try : http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/
or check the XDA G4 section for your variant.
Thank you for your response. I did actually download the H812 kdz from storagecow however when I put it in the LGUP tool it read as an error in the tot file. I'm not sure what happened or where I went wrong. I'm so confused at this point and without my G4 being unuseable at this time. I also wanted to ask if the kdz you directed me to are in fact the file I need to go back to LP from MM?

The only flashing method that has ever worked for me when my phone was bricked along with Corrupted recovery is the .TOT method. And that I'm afraid is the one from where you have to start all over from Out of the box experience with 4.4 Kitkat. If the LGFlashTool2014 does not work for you, I recommend the LGFlashtoolv1.8.1 + the crack. It will not ask you for the KDZ and should allow you to downgrade without any hassle.
There are 2 things you will need:
LGD851AT-01-V10c.zip & LGFLASHv160.dll
This will point you in the right direction. Just scroll down to the text where it says "2014 TOT Method (Old/Outdated)"

I jumped into LG G4 wagon and got these two phones- first H812 Canadian variant (rooted H81210n) and second H810 AT&T (non-rooted locked H81021y).
External-SD-Card fails to mount.... how is ext-sd mount activated , assuming that its a software Linux mount problem and not hardware???
LG firmware has special external sd-card permissions??
Any tool(s) or apk to activate or check the mount and read status within LG Firmwares??
Very perplexed!!

IF, your SD card for the H81210n is formatted exfat, that is likely the problem, if so, check out the Addendum in this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=73250389&postcount=37
All install files are linked there.
If the same applies to the H810, it may be a similar issue - you can try the same exfatfs.ko linked there - I don't see any downside to trying it but if it doesn't work, ask a member to upload and link the the appropriate exfatfs.ko for the H81210.
If not exfat formatted, this will give you an idea in file manager to start looking for the issue, i.e. /lib/modules .ko files.
Still no love from G4-H812 and G4-H810 with Mount

I did try moving exfatfs.ko using ES File Explorer with root permission on.... but alas, still no love on H812.... mount just does not get activated..... (exfat or fat32) I am confused ... maybe other *.ko files are corrupted or can its kernel mount config / permission issues still??
for H810-- I am using stock locked H81021y, so could not get to write system file unless I find a rooted image to flash.
Here is list of kernel modules I have on H812

I had it working with 1.14, but I thought I had the wrong version. So I uninstalled it.
Now I can't get it to load - wrong dll for VS99620a.
Plus I wanted the developer version of LGUP.
Pretty sure I need the Partition option to flash other-model KDZ.

Help please?

For the KDZ, go to the thread. Instructions are there.

Thanks, but I think the operative word in that quote is "should". I've tried that method with the phone in download mode and with it in its normal operating mode, but LGUP no longer recognises my phone model. I can get the LGUP pop-up with the serial port but the pop-up shows the phone as an unknown model, which I guess is the issue preventing the firmware update.
The version of LGUP_common.dll that I'm using is 1.0.35.3, which should be the latest. Its digital signature is dated ‎Tuesday, ‎19 ‎December ‎2017 3:33:29 PM. Its MD5# is c3df15812c1294028bfd330eb725519b.

Here is the reply I received from LG about reverting to Nougat (I asked them to do it for a fee):
"Dear Peter,
Thank you for contacting LG Customer Support. I apologise, but please be advised that we cannot put back your the previous software of your phone.
We suggest that you perform Factory Reset to your phone. This will not restore its previous software, but can fix issues of your phone. However, this will delete everything saved in your phone memory. You may back up first your files.
To reset:
Go to Settings
Select Backup & Reset
Select Factory Data Reset
If the issue will still continue, please let us know so we can assist you further.
Thank you. Have a great day ahead.

… However, I was able to flash my LGH930DS to Oreo for the LGH930DS using LG Bridge after a few attempts (I couldn't get UPPERCUT to revert my phone to Nougat), resolving my issue with using the dual-SIM with the cross-flashed firmware and thus obviating my need to revert to Nougat.
Looking for some guidance please & thanks.
I have a H933, converted using the Frankenstein method to a US998. Then Unlocked BL, TWRP and rooted. Upgraded to US99820d
I would now like to flash back to stock H933. I have installed the Patched version of LGUP. I have extracted the DLL here into a common folder inside the model folder. I put the phone in Download mode, plug it in and then launch LGUP (patched). it finds the device but then errors saying the DLL is not valid for US98820d and to get a compatible DLL.
