Works fine on Retin...7.1.1 without root...thanks

It works perfectly.

When I try to respond to a text message on the locked screen , all I see is the keyboard not the message that I have typed and I can't see the button to send the message ?
Is there something to do ?
I have set the authorization in the moto display settings to allow quick reply but it does the same thing if it set or not.
Is it working for you ?

Ok, I found the problem, I was using the app 'custom navigation bar' with immersive mode on, this app causes some crash on the UI
10-11 10:10:55.630 I/MotoDisplay(15626): onCreate
10-11 10:10:55.643 W/WindowManager( 2821): Layout repeat skipped after too many iterations
10-11 10:10:55.650 W/WindowManager( 2821): Layout repeat skipped after too many iterations

10-11 10:10:55.670 W/WindowManager( 2821): Layout repeat skipped after too many iterations
10-11 10:10:55.671 E/WindowManager( 2821): Performed 6 layouts in a row. Skipping
If I disable Immersive mode, it's working
Edit :
To keep the app 'custom navigation bar', I'm using tasker with two profiles defined on 'custom navigation bar' :
- first with 'Change immersive settings' on and 'Hide navbar' on, this profile will be active when display is on
- second with 'Change immersive settings' on and 'Hide navbar' off, this profile will be active when display is off

LMT is a tool for Android (tested already on multiple devices - see below) that launches a command when perform single touch or multitouch gestures on the screen (In any app/screen/etc.). You can connect basic and advanced commands to any gesture LMT supports. In addition to the gestures you can activate a system-wide PieControl for navigation like the feature in the ICS stock browser (touch the side of the screen to activate it). You must be ROOTED to use this feature.
Installation
Download the latest apk, copy it to your phone and install it via file explorer. After installation start LMT and set the specified input device for your phone. Then connect an action to e.g. the double swipe up gesture, start the touchservice and do the double swipe up gesture on the screen afterwards. If everything works fine, you’ll see the corresponding overlay and action. The input devices/touchscreen to screen factors:
•HTC Evo3D -> 4
•HTC Sensation -> 2/4, x=200%, y=100%
•HTC Amaze -> 4
•HTC HD2 -> 0
•HTC DesireHD -> 3
•HTC Thunderbolt -> 1
•HTC Inspire 4G -> 1
•HTC One X -> 4
•Google Galaxy Nexus -> 1, x=100%, y=100%
•Google Nexus S -> 0
•Google Nexus 4 -> 2, x=200%, y=200%
•Google Nexus 7 -> 0, x=160%, y=200%
•Samsung Galaxy S2 -> 2
•Samsung Galaxy Note -> 2
•Samsung Galaxy Note 2 -> 2
•Samsung Galaxy S -> 0/8
•Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 -> 4

ISAS
The ISAS (invisible swipe areas) can be used to swipe with one finger from the sides to to center of the screen (like you would bring up the pie) to trigger actions. E.g. you could use the 3 ISAS at the bottom of the screen to trigger back, home and recents with just swipes when the navbar is hidden. Those swipes are as fast and reliable as normal button presses. In order to make the ISAS work you have to do the following setup:
•activate gestures via setMode (because ISAS are being recognized via the internal gesture engine)
•Configure min bbox size. Actually this is the length in pixel the swipe must be long, so that the corresponding action for the ISA is being triggered.
•Configure activation area size. This is the height (for bottom/top ISAS) or the width (for left/right ISAS) of the area, where the swipe must be started in. So the lower the value, the more precise you have to start the swipe at the side of the screen
•Last but not least the touchscreen to screen factors: As for some devices the touchscreen uses a different coordinate system as the screen, you have to adjust here the values for x and y. For the Nexus devices I added those values already to the OP and in later versions I'll introduce a kind of auto calibrate. But for now it is a little bit of testing...
Once the setup is complete you can assign your actions to the 12 available ISAS!
Troubleshooting
If LMT is not working on your device out of the box please determine the correct input device first:
•Download a terminal (e.g. terminal emulator) from the market
•Enter su and then getevent in the terminal
•After that just touch the screen and send me the trace from the terminal
Then create a logcat:
•Install e.g. catlog from the market
•Record with catlog the following procedure:
•Start LMT
•Set input device to xxx from first procedure
•Set single touch gestures to 777
•Start the TouchService
•Do the double swipe up gesture on the screen
•Stop the TouchService
•Send me the logcat...
FAQ
Setting the pie color:
The format is just ARGB8888 in hex (8 bit for alpha and every color). So just use #xx where xx is alpha starting from 00 to ff and add the desired color afterwards. Have a look here for different colors but keep in mind that in these examples the alpha value is missing http://www.javascripter.net/faq/rgbtohex.htmSo if you have the color "rgb(124,252,0) #7CFC00" it will be #FF7CFC00 for an opaque pie and e.g. #807CFC00 for a half transparent pie...
Adding custom icons for pie items:
To have custom icons for the pie items put your own png images into the following folder: "/sdcard/Android/data/com.android.lmt/files/". The default icons have the size 120x96px but other image sizes should also work (they will be resized). You can define custom icons for every pie item and/or for every action (LMT first tries to load the icon for the pie pos, then the custom icon for the action and will use the default action icon if no other icon is defined). To set custom pie pos icons name the png pie[0-19].png where e.g. “pie0.png” will be the icon for pie item level1, item1, shorpress and “pie1.png” will be the icon for level1, icon1, longpress. To set custom action icons just name the png [actioname].png (see command section in the OP for action names – use lowercase, e.g. back.png). Please restart the TouchService after you changed the icons, so that LMT can recreate the pie.

I installed this earlier today and is working perfectly for me on my gn2. I also have an Otterbox Commuter case on with no problems. I do suggest increasing the "Activation Area Thickness" to give yourself a bit more room due to the loss of your car if you have one on line the Otterbox.
I've done some tweaks with it and so far this is a great app.
I'm stock rooted with some hacks, but no custom ROM.

Using this with Jedi 9 the only issue I have found so far is it will not open the phone when you choose it as a app to open on the pie. The contacts works fine just not phone itself other than that very nice.

Active Display App

There is a cool app for Active display feature: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.knock.knock.plus&hl=en
But according to it the active display feature wouldn't work exactly the way it works on Motorola where only the notification part lights up, because it needs Amoled display while P6 got IPS display. Other than that it works fine and those who want to see notification and messages directly can use this until hopefully Huawei comes with its own. A slight annoying problem though is that the bottom grey navigation bar shows up and covers part of the screen. On the google play, they have showed it working on a Nexus 4 and no navigation bar shows up in such way. So i don't know yet how to get it in full screen without navigation bar on the P6.
See screenshot of how it shows up. Is there a fix to this ? Or should this be given as feedback to Huawei for their upgrade, so that third party apps don't have this problem when running on p6 ?
I have tried a couple of notification apps namely: The above "Knock2", Active Notify, Dynamic Notifications and NotifierPro
My observations:
- The easiest yet efficient layout of all is the one Motorola came out with. This is because in case of the MOTO all work ( read notification without unlocking, go to app, dismiss, turnoff screen or unlock screen) can all be done within a long press+swipe option i.e., one touch. But in case of Knock2 app, you need two distinct touches which makes it slower. The notifierpro comes second, as the message can be read and dismissed as well as accessed in one touch or swipe, but this one got no option to tun off screen or choose to read notification from multiple apps.
- The notifierpro app has two advantages.
1) The app can function both within a lock screen as well as outside a lock screen. While in case of other apps, it just functions for the lock screen. The notifierpro app also got all the options like screen awakening as well other useful customization's and hence makes needless the other notification apps.
2) This app does not sacrifice the Huawei or Android lock screen while in case of others, it takes over the lock screen. Some might actually like this as they dont like the default lock screens, but in case of those wanting customization's, shortcuts, widgets, guest login mode, etc, on lock screen, this would be a problem.
- All these notification apps got the following faults:
In case of detailed reading of the message, only the first message can be read. When the second message reaches, it shows up as "2 new message" etc and no ability to read it.
None of these apps synchronize with the android notification panel. In fact, all these apps just beam the same message that is shown on the android top bar. All you can do is dismiss the message that is beamed, but it still remains on the android notification panel as well as the top bar. And if one was to use the Huawei lock screen ( not the password lock), one can bring down the notification panel from the lock screen and access notifications and apps directly from there. So if the android was to merely allow awakening, it can do all the tasks that these apps do, by the android notification panel itself. The android notification panel can in fact do much more.
And finally the whole idea of such notifications would clash with privacy, in case someone else was to use the phone. So there should be a quick toggle option to Allow/Not allow the detail reading of messages or turn off this notification function.
Now the real deal is in someone creating an app combining the advantage of all, yet keeping it simple Anyone with bright ideas for your Huawei Emotion UI upgrade ?.
My suggestion is to go for notifierpro layout but with added options:
1) Ability to turn off screen after dismissing, in lockscreen mode.
2) Read multiple notifications from single app as well as multiple apps. Reading multiple notifications from a single app can be done by swiping the pop up in a left/right direction that switches to the next or previous messages. While reading notifications on multiple apps can be done by having separate popups open in layers of rows.
3) Synchronize with android notification by one level i.e., synchronized with the top bar. So dismissing a notification should remove it from the top bar, but yet available within the slide down notification panel. So one could dismiss something for now from the pop up and decide to later access notification panel and read them all.
4) Toggle on/off button in notification panel to quick turn on/off the active/pop up notification.
Remember that P6 don't have an Amoled screen, so the layout of the MOTO is not really useful for the P6. So this idea of having first two small icons of the apps shown from which one is to be touched and accessed, isn't really useful because in the IPS display the whole screen is going to be awakened anyway and not just the small icons being awakened in case of amoled screen. So when that is the case, then more of the screen should be taken advantage, so its better to have the detailed message directly pop up on screen as the notifierpro does. This is also minimalist and no need to have the whole lockscreen changed, and this gives advantage of having pop ups even outside the lock screen.

I tried all levels and all assign item placements, and all doesn't show the stock JB camera.
I am running the 10.1-20131008-UNOFFICIAL-I9082 ROM.

[Q] [Developer] Bug in Quick Circle

Hi, I don't know if it is a bug in the israeli ROM or global bug.
I have an app that have few regular Activies and one Quick Circle Activity.
Event:
A regular Activity is on the background (not opened). I launch the Quick Circle Activity from the quick launcher.
When I click the "back button" (imagebutton >> finish(); ) it back to the quick launcher BUT open the regular activity under it.
So, When I open the case, it will show me the regular Activity (even though I'm out of my quick app)!
Did it happen to anyone else?

Question Hold notification on lockscreen after unlock

I have this smartphone since a couple of week, but the big issue respect my previous phone (with Android Stock) was the notifications on lockscreen.
When a new msg on whatsapp (or other apps) arrive this is visible on lockscreen (not all time, but this is another bug/story). If I unlock the screen (swipe up), without open the notifications, these ones disappear form the lockscreen.
A ugly workaround is the always on display features.
Any suggestion/solutions ?
Thanks!
