Hi,
all i am new here.
I have this version of HTC M9:
Code:
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_himauhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) serialno: HT53TYJ00276
(bootloader) current-slot:
(bootloader) imei: _hide_
(bootloader) version-main: 4.19.61.1
(bootloader) boot-mode: download
(bootloader) version-baseband: 01.01_U114401031_122.01.61213G_F
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 0PJA10000
(bootloader) cid: ORANG001
From US - Orange but i need use it in Czech Republic (i need czech lanuguage, only english - now) and i need correct Europe version. Also i need working OTA after flash so i need lock bootlader again?
Thank you for any reply.
So i was read more and more. Now i know i need S-OFF for putting different version-main then .61 i want Europe .401 but with S-ON, don´t work right? But what about CDMA/GSM version?? Bcs i guess from US it have CDMA so i can not put Europe GSM version. I was find:0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_N70_SENSE80_MR_HTC_Europe_4.28.401.3_Radio_01.01_U114401011_117.00.61117G_2_F_release_500500_combined_signed_2_4.zip
And i read there is chance with S-ON put combined_signed version but still i think is problem with CDMA/GSM version.
Please correct me if i am wrong.
Tell me if there is another possibility do it...
Changing SKUs is only possible with S-OFF. No matter whether the RUU is a combined_signed one or not.
I'm not sure why you think that your phone is a US phone. SKU 61 and 401 are both European. You don't have to worry about the GSM/CDMA incompatibility.
Bcs my friend buy it from US ebay that´s why i think it... But if .61 also EU is OK. Thank you for info.

Hello guys,
I`m a lil` confused, so if I have:
cid: HTC__044
version-main: 4.19.707.5
Can I use the boot.img and the recovery.img from 4.19.707.3, from the 1st post?
And for my 4.19.707.5, what should I get, odexed or deodexed?
What is the method I should use to put the stock rom back, I have big unresponsive touchscreen issues with cm12 after few months of usage.

yeah , i guess. I flashed Viper 4.3.1
They are not the same phone, sorry you may have a brick now. Maybe someone can jump in but I'd start looking around for a new one. Unless HTC provided it on their site.
I'd check official HTC downloads for something as a last shot, maybe talk to support. This particular forum is for standard HTC 10 which has different hardware afaik, so ruus for you phone here.
TWRP!!! for Lifestyle!
Can you provide a link to it please? TWRP which you used?
I have HTC 10 Lifestyle too!

Have you managed to get it to work? I have the same problem. My main phone broke down and this device was waiting for a long time which I was bought from the USA last year. Now I'm trying to get it to work but it's really painful
I got it.
Go: http://www.mcc-mnc.com/
Get your carrier code. Add it in mobile data settings. Mine is like this: "286 01 tr Turkey 90 Turkcell"
Create your APN settings. My example: Name: "Turkcell internet", APN: "internet"
If you have no TR based carrier, then just make sure your preference is "Global" settings instead of LTE/GSM etc.
I have the Sprint version (himawhl) and I use LineageOS 16.0 (Android 9.0 Pie) ROM for Verizon M9. It works without a problem except for 4G (LTE) as these variants (Verizon and Sprint) are not compatible with European 4G/LTE. However, 2G/3G/HSPA work without a problem. Just follow the instructions in the relevant topic.
Hi,
I decided I really want LinageOS on my phone but it was not supported so after much consideration I decided the HTC M8 dual sim was the phone I wanted and so ordered myself one from Aliexpress (reconditioned) so that I can give LineageOS a try.
I am unable to install LineageOS though as when I try (using TWRP) it refuses saying "this package is for device htc_m8dug.......this device is m8", when i go in to bootloader it reports the phone is "m8_dugl" (it has 2 sim slots so is not the m8 model?).
I am able to install "HTC One M8 Dual Lineage OS 15" ok but this is not fully functioning yet.
the only version of TWRP which works on my phone is "twrp-2.8.1.0-m8.img".
Any help/pointers would be very much appreciated.
