So today I noticed a weird thing about my Honor 7X..
On the back side of the phone it says I have the AL10 version of the phone but in the "About phone" section of the phone it says I have the L21 version..
Also, I got the 32GB Storage + 4GB RAM version of the phone which apparently doesn't even exist in the L21 version according to GSMarena.
What version of the phone do I have?
Is my phone a glitch in the matrix?
P.S. I still have the B101 update and I don't get any new updates, is that normal?
Same thing here. Bought mine on Aliexpress, converted from AL10 to L21. No updates. We're waiting for the Oreo firmware. Should fix things.
There's a method that allows you go back to the stock AL10 firmware but AL10 is Chinese, so you can't really enjoy it.

I have BND AL 10 and till date i have got 2 updates for my phone. I am from India. They will be pusing the oreo update in the 2nd quarter of the year.

Just wanted to let you guys know after the recent update made available through the updater (Miui v9.2.13.0.neimiek)
Provides a lot of solution to the bugs including the low earphones and the 2x zoom
But most importantly it provides the indian varient the fix to the 8600 error while binding account so all of the users who are wondering if the update is worth it

I Found Call Recording Not Present and samsung members is in Chinese language.
My question,
1 - can i flash rom G988U instead of G9880 to get the call recording enabled and phone samsung member in english
2- if not, how can i customize the G9880 to meet my requirements like call recording & language,,etc
3- is there a custom rom for g9880 which enable all features like usa version or global version, or i already stucked with the g9880
4- why there's no option for 5G network
im from egypt too all i did is installing open china software you will get everything you need

thanks i did it. I downloaded from sammobile. After flashing the firmware l, i didn't find google service. I installed the google play store manually. After that installed the apps if google. And i get call recording. Thanks for your information.
Samsung members & Samsung pay will always be in Chinese whatever you did it is locked to the origin of the phone , and you will not be able to test 5G network in Egypt for at least 3 years , may be with s23 :laugh:
Any way where both of you got the taiwan version in Egypt, I want to get one for myself also

the only problem i faced till now in open China software is Samsung pass. Samsung pass not installed in this software and i try to install it by download apk but it didn't work
To get samsung pass you should flash hongkong firmware but you will sacrifice call recording but you will keep 5g which is not usable in Egypt anyway
did you find any issue with CHC rom in egypt?

Hi, I'm trying to find firmware to downgrade a samsung s7 edge G935FXXU2DRC6 but have no luck finding it. As I understand it, the firmware needs to be SWREV U2 since the current software is U2 ? I have found U1 version software but not U2. When I try to apply U1 software using Odin it fails.

I also tried to upgrade with a new firmware (looks "too old" ?)

i have realme x3 device with 8gb ram 128gb storage variant ...my device recieved beta verion updates of RUI2.0 and it had many bugs ....so i tried downgrading it to the previous version of UI by downloading the software from internet and then installing it from the recovery mode after watching some of the videos on youtube ...but the device did not got downgraded in the way videos did ....and now i am having the issue of " the current image(boot/recovery) have been destroyed and can not boot"
