Zip isn't corrupted, I tested and it's booting up perfectly . Try using latest TWRP recovery

Downloaded twice, got the same error.And for the record I am already rocking the latest version of twrp.Confirmed the zip is 101℅ corrupted tried extracting it & got the said error.

I am on latest twrp. Tried to unzip on pc. It's corrupted. Message is unexpected end of archive.

I'll try to upload a new build tomorrow .. for those who are facing issues..

I personally unzipped to check if zip is corrupted. Never unzip to flash a rom.

After flashing the ROM and gapps,
make sure to backup the original kernel
After having set up the ROM you can give the custom kernel a try
since I don't have the Z4 I couldn't find out if it boots or not
(if there are similar issues like with the stock ROM where the new custom kernels not boot)
But with custom ROMs the system + kernel should be much more forgiving with changes

This ROM approach is different - LineageOS is already there for Z4, RR is based on LineageOS,
and LineageOS , like AOSP shares lots of similarities between the devices (more than the stock ROMs),
the stock ROMs have limitations, that when changing certain kernel subsystems or drivers in the ROM itself (e.g. porting from Z5 stock ROM to Z4) the device doesn't boot anymore.
I believe when porting MIUI to Z4 it must be done specifically for Z4,
porting over from Z5 to Z4 is way too much work - so it must be done from scratch for Z4
So since LineageOS is there for Z4 it was possible to build RR for Z4
I hope that kind of makes sense

flash TWRP to recovery partition (via fastboot),
turn off the device, then press VOL DOWN + Power wait for a few seconds [brightness might be much higher with the Sony logo since different kernel from TWRP],
keep VOL DOWN pressed a bit longer until it boots to TWRP
or unlock the advanced options in the boot menu and "reboot to recovery"

In case you guys are looking for a (assumedly) working SoundMod with Sony's Music player (Xperia Z4 is a Sony after all ), give the following a test:

The sound output is pretty intense with PDesire (still testing in WIP-kernel)
Make sure to create a backup BEFORE flashing any sound mod or other mod - in case you don't like the higher battery drain,
so that you don't have to wipe and start from scratch

Ty, rom is really good. Some problem only.
Charging speed is low.
And there is not 60fps camera.
Some lag in chrome.

With Sony Stock charger or QC ?
Not sure what the status is with 60fps but you could try out the HTC camera app, perhaps that supports it
There's is and will ALWAYS be the possibility of lag in every browser, unfortunately,
it really depends on the website content - mostly it should be smooth though.
You can make things really really smooth but especially with the kernel version (3.10) and the SoC at base the battery consumption would be unbearably much higher ...

Works on BOTH! FLash normally on encrypted devices and use no verity zip file for decrypted devices!!

this rom have performance profiles by it self tho

awesome work @tusharjain95 . flashed the version with the lightening kernel. working like a champ. portrait mode working perfectly on the camera. overall performance is very quick and smooth. now on to customization...

Can anyone explain me why the Camcorder video recording is difficult to fix in ROMs like this and Lineage even though the Camera is working perfectly? Usually if the Camera HAL is accessible, the Camcorder should also be a accessible because of it since both share the same hardware with difference in the working of it, right? From what I've experienced, the device cannot even access the hardware when in the Camcorder mode which should not technically happen.

Due to unavailability of hals the dev has to try different shims. Unlike Qualcomm, Mediatek hardly ever fully releases source codes so it is kinda hard. You can record video though using camu app.

Is this a persistent issue? Have you tried restarting the device and checking again?

Thanks for updating this ROM. Please try and give us at least regular monthly bug updates for at least one ROM in this sea of inactive and buggiest ROMs for this device. I know it's too much to ask but do keep debugging and we'll be really thankful to you guys for appreciating this trash device.

Well, it doesn't matter since Video Recording isn't working rn anyway xD. Unless you're frequently using it for other Whatsapp audio recordings. The audio microphone does work while calling though, there's no problem there. :silly:

Much better. The only bug right now is just the problem of microphone audio capturing in OK Google detection and standalone audio recording apps along with the usual Video Recording (which will take a little longer in this specific ROM because of Lineage kernels) and VoLTE.
Audio is being captured perfectly in all other third party messaging apps like WhatsApp, hike, etc., and in calls.
Problems regarding hotspot and battery issues since the last official build have also been fixed.
It's a decent ROM and I'm planning to stick to it for a while.

Installation:
1. Download the ROM, Gapps, and Magisk from the links below.
2. Wipe everything except internal storage.
3. Flash the ROM and flash OpenGapps Nano from the links below.
4. Flash latest Magisk to get root access.
5. Reboot and Enjoy!
Use I9505 PF4 Modem and Bootloader and TWRP 3.2.3.0 for this ROM below for it to fully work as this ROM is using S4 jfltexx Official Lineage device, kernel, and vendor sources from their official github. If you guy's can't find this modem and bootloader let me know and i will upload and link it for you to flash in Odin. As for bugs the only thing that is not working for me is night light but that's a ROM side issue not a device specific issue. I don't use my s4 as a phone just as an ipod so let me know if their is any issues but so far it's running well for me.
