well the Audio is a little bit problem to me...i got the p2 ...and the sound is very very loud .....best at 60 ....but the headphone is totally opposite
here are my problems :
1- there is a noise when you start play something...like youtube...or even move the video forward ....the noise coming when the sound start ...then disappear
2- the Audio with the headphone is the main problem.....always i should make the VOL to the Max to have what i called 80% maybe....and i noticed that the sound in many app are not the same at max....some are higher than other (only with Headphone)
Any Rom will Fix that ...??
i will Root ....but before that wanna know how can i solve this issue ...
i guess many of you faced that and i think one Dev solve it ....and looking for that ...

dear friends, something strange happened with me
I used to increase the volum of the calls during the call itself .. and today i noticed a noise accompaning the voise of the caller .. i need to decrease the volum till the end to decrease that noise while iam in the call
when iam making a call .. the beep tone itself have a noise
did some damage happened to the microphone ????
when i put the call on speaker there is no noise at all !!!!

i dont think thats what he was talking about.
if you had the same thing i had with my touch pro/fuze, its a low buzz or crackle. it developed after a few months. att replaced the phone with no more info needed. then new phone didnt have it so its something hardware.
i had muffled incall sound and it sometimes crackled too, this cab solved both problems.
the background noise stayed though.
there is also an option "reduce or supress incall noise" in advanced phone options. try changing it to always

I tried the cab ... but nothing happened
the thing i have is a buzzing sound in the ringing tone itself ...then when i receive the call if the caller is speaking loud or iam putting the volum high then his voice will have a buzz like sound when he raise his voise
now iam putting the volum on the minimum
the ringing tone still buzz , but the caller voice is better with low buzz if ever
do u think really its a hard ware problem ?
i got my pro2 from another country than the one i live in , this will cause me allot of trouble if i thought of replacing the device

these sw tweaks only improve sound a little, but not solve the whole problem

hi everybody the microphone not working when i make call people don't hear me but the second micro of the headset work perfectly . i make factory data reset , flash the firmware but nothing happened . when i uncheck the option reduce noise and test the microphone the sound became very low with loud noise thank you for your help .
P.S : sorry for my bad english
Since yesterday my daughter has the same on her xp. s; but both of microphone are very bad quality; I dont know whats going on...

Same problem here. My voice is very muffled and to be honest I'm getting tired with having to shout down the phone. Everyone says it sounds like I'm underwater or have my hand over my mouth.
Anyone know what's caused this? On the Trinity Vengeance RaptorXL 2.5 JB ROM

I've been trying to work this out for months. There have been a LOT of posts about this on the Sony forums, but no one has a definitive fix yet. Some people have fixed theirs by turning off noise suppression. Others have fixed it by turning off vibrate when ring. Others have restored their firmware 3 or 4 times before it went back to normal.
My fix was to press the volume rocker a few times when picking up the call. This would normally work, however lately it hasn't been doing a thing.
Guys I have encountered a problem !
I was recording video long time and just now I realized that the audio is not proper stereo ..! I can hear sound much more on the right !
Less on the left WTH ?

Just find out why it is out of balance .. !!!
Those who here telling everybody to delete codec folder that you can have louder audio DONT LISTEN TO THEM .. They dont know what they doing! Making devices to fail only .. bricking phones ETC ..
Hey , i have got problem with my microphone at phone calls , it's just happend one day when people call me they can't her me or they said im sound low , when i turn up to speaker it's normal cuz i am use the second microphone .
then i check in google about an hour to solve the problem and none of the solutions works .
so i thoughe about something and i just don't know how to do it , maybe i can use the speaker microphone as the defalut call microphone and i could solve my problem .
and i don't know how can i do it , im pretty sure it's not so complicated cuz it's software i just need to define at the software that when people call me the speaker microphone turn on the normal speakers off .
just make to opposite
if someone can help it's will be great or can find me another solution

thats problem no hardware, no devices its only via back case sound exit. There are holes in the rear audio output 10 or more on the inside of that part of the tape is dust protection remove it Ta Ta sound bom

When i record with the audio recorder or with cam the sound is like bugged with some noise at the background , i tried the tape and clean the mic , but also not working , tried also Cyanogen 6.0 and it's more noisy ...
Do anyone know how to fix that ? i used an application called Microphone i used to change the gain to 100db and also changing the mono into stereo it's less noisy than it had to be but not complete , and it need to activate each time i reboot or quit the app , some app not work with this activated , i really need help because when i make call they cant hear me.
