Some timeouts when having lot LTE signal, but generally very good.
I'm disappointed. Few dropped calls with "Missed call" SMS after few minutes, on Nougat.
Found many complaining people on Russian forums....
Yes, they found a solution. Flashing modem from MM via Odin, but no OTA updates until original modem is reflashed.

I watched everything from adult "instructional" videos to telecommunications instructional videos without any hint of poor performance. No issues as seen by me. This is an excellent phone.
well.. this would require measuring the g5 in comparison with all other phones with similar LTE capabilities.
so far i'm more than happy. sadly this phone has higher bandwidth in terms of internet than my home connection D:
for the carrier aggregation, the LG G5 is 2CA or 3CA ?
Because Snapdragon 820 is 3CA :
Downlink Features
3x20 MHz carrier aggregation
256-QAM
Horrible reception
No cat 12 support... Poor performance compared to the Note 7
Fine with me. Great reception. Auto detect is fast. Switching is fast. No problem with me. :victory:
download and upload speeds are half as fast as iphone right next to it on T-mobile network when done speed tests
H860 has a problem regarding reception, switching SIM 1 to LTE reduces signal strength of SIM 2 which is on 2G. Bad receptions as compared to LG G4.
H850 tested on LTE 4G+, 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz wifi about 15 meter (3 walls) from router.
Overall, excellent reception on LTE and above average wifi reception and speed.
Compared to:
Honor 7: Much better wifi reception.
Honor 8: About same wifi reception (both excellent) and somewhat better LTE speed in same room.
Sony Xperia XZ: Sony wifi is not even in same class. Completely refused to find 5Ghz while only 11mbps on 2.4Ghz, while G5 had 65mbps on 2.4G and 150mbps (2/5 bars) on 5Ghz. LTE reception about the same.

I don't have metrics for you but when I use a project fi data-only SIM card in the yoga book it performed well with web pages loading quickly. I have not tried streaming video over cellular data so far.
Had to order a yoga book from Germany to have cellular data option. Don't think this is offered in the US.
Are you talking about Calling on cellular too? or just data?
Data internet is good and fast.
But There is no calling option. i dont see any Dialler.

Not that good
Reception on T-mobile is about half as good and a little slower than my previous Moto Z Play. Kinda disappointing, although i still love the Z4 more than the Z Play
Disappointed
I upgraded one of my lines to a locked Sprint e5 play for free. After seeing how amazing it was regarding signal and service I decided to upgrade my main phone to a Moto. Being that Sprint had absolutely nothing to offer except iPhones and Samsung I decided to buy a Z4 directly from Motorola. Being that it was an unlocked version I had to take it to a Sprint store where they fumbled with SIM cards for about an hour. The signal strength on this phone is disappointing to say the least. I can be side by side with the e5 play. The e5 has full bars of LTE, the Z4 has few bars and sometimes absolutely no service at all! Even when there is good signal it seems to not work for data. 90% of the time it's in LTE domestic roaming. If I toggle airplane mode on and off again the data will work. I'm not sure if this is a sim problem or the phone itself. The price was right so I guess it is what it is.

I've had really good signal on this phone, along with great LTE performance. On 5G NR, performance is decent considering it's a new technology. I leave my phone on LTE 99% of the time because 5G drains the battery however.
"Apple will be the unofficial start to 5G," Kester Mann,
Guess he never heard of the OnePlus 7T pro mclaren 5G?
Naw, he did.
And I'm gonna:
"HAVE TO
SETTLE"
Sure on speed tests it beats my broadband by barely 7mbps, in Buena Park CA. (If you can crack 35mbps your in the top 10% of users. BFD.)
But I've never seen over 5mbps in actual use.
But wait:
I got mine from T-Mobile. So until I rob a bank and payoff this f*gging brick; I'm bootloader locked.
OnePlus got out of the way real fast when Big Mommy T-Mo went for some Apple moves. Thanks for putting your foot down again for us, *******.
