Help needed: Connected Car and Voice Interface Poll - Connected Car

Hi everybody,
I'm a German student working in Berlin.
I'm currently writing my Thesis and am looking for your support. It would be great if some of you could spare a minute and fill in my questionnaire, I'm especially interested in a global and widespread perspective.
With these questions I'm hoping to gain a little insight on the potential of accessing a connected car via voice interface as I'm currently developing a new skill for any device using Amazon Alexa.
You can access the questionnaire via this link:

Please do not hesitate to contact me, if you have any questions.
Many thanks to all of you in advance and greetings from Berlin!

Remote home security viewing via TP2?

Hello All,
Found this website a few days ago and needless to say but I will, very cool and very very helpful! My question is that I'm trying to set up a home security type setup with a couple or more security cameras and I was wondering if it is possible to remotely view these via the TP2? Is there a specific setup that I need, another website I need to visit, a simplified "how to" do this? I also have an older model multi-camera recording unit (Panasonic RT650 and a Dedicated Micros model Sprite Lite). I'm runnning XP on my desktop and laptop if that matters. Any and all help is always most graciously appreciated! And forgive me if this is asking too much, but if someone does have an answer, spelling it out in very simple terms is going to be the most helpful. I'm not completely stupid with computer terms, software, hardware, etc. and yet again, with all the new stuff out there, it's like learning a whole new language.
thanks again!
Steve
I have a Lorex CCTV system that runs off a PC for DVR duties and web serving. One of the features it has through the web server is the ability to view the feeds. Simply open the page with the TP2 (with skyfire) and there it is.
It was a couple hundred for the four cameras, PCI control card and software.
I use HAI for my home automation and they have several ways to get video and home control through the Internet. I've been using my Touch Pro2 and my previous Palm Treo's for years connect to my Omni II controller that controls lights, heat/cool, and security functions as well as being able to view the cameras around the house. I find its easier to use the web server with a browser or my phone than use the touch pads or the phone interface.

[Q] Share screen with Google Hangouts

Hi everyone! This tablet has caught my eye and I'm really considering purchasing it, however, I need it for a very specific use.
I teach online via webcam primarily in math and science subjects. Consequently, I have to write a lot of equations. I figured a powerhouse such as this tablet should be able to tackle this no problem.
So here is my question, is there a way for me to do a screen share while in a Google Hangouts or Skype session? I need to be able to write on the screen and display the equations for all that is watching. As of right now, I know the Hangouts app does not current allow this and I can't do it directly in a browser either. I'm wondering (hoping) there is a workaround for this purpose, because otherwise, I really have no purpose for this tablet to truly justify it.
I hope someone has good news so I can buy a new toy!

Looking for an experienced developer!

Hello everybody,
We are a two member team with an application idea that we think could be useful for a lot of people. We have a list of features and a complete UI design plan. A video showing the features is also being created.
The application is intended to handle the notifications in a smarter way. To achieve that, we need a Google Chrome extension also. (Please notify us in your e-mail, whether you have already experience in developing Chrome extensions!).
With a simple and easy to use interface, this app is only intended for doing a few things, but doing those efficiently and fast.
We do not have a business, or any money. Our payment for a developer would be a % cut of the revenues, or we could try crowdfunding the idea. If it works out, we could partner up for future projects too, because we have an another app idea also (it is significantly bigger and much harder to make).
If you are interested in more details and UI design pictures, PM, or send an email to [email protected]
Please only write if you think that this idea has potential. If you have previous experience from developing an app, please include a link of that in your message.
Thank you!

[Mod/Hack] iWOWN i6 hr help on alternate app

Hi guys, I bought an iWOWn i6hr , it's working good but the application to manage it it's awful like all other lowcost smartband i owned.
I'm an android developer but without experience on modding so i want to ask you if there is a way to get the sdk or api for that smartband so i could write my own application for it and maybe starting to develop an universal app for all lowcost smartbands.
I hope you have adivices for me
Thank you!
I asked them to create an API to open it to developers, but chinese don't bother with these kind of thing I guess.
I'm sad that it doesn't work with Sleep as Android...
Try to ask them an API or something to connect with the iwown products, maybe you can have luck.
Or try to break their protocol.
There are other app that can comunicate with iwown producs.
