I present to you:
Galaxy S3 Silver Home Button Mod.

you know... it dont look bad at all. Might do this when the paint starts to wear off.

Hows the battery life ?

Haven't had to charge the phone since I performed the mod. I think this mod writes to /mnt/sdcard/new folder...which in turn does absolutely nothing besides enable immortal battery tweak.

Will this trip my flash counter?

I hadn't thought of that until you mentioned it. I just checked and unfortunately it does trip the counter. Before the mod I was at 0, and now it reads over 9000, and no longer samsung official... If attempted make sure you grab a copy of Triangle Away.

I tried the code through terminal emulator and lost root.

Where is the 2Faced G3 ROM Thread!?
I hope it wasn't because of the Cloudy incident. Cloudy was totally out of place! This ROM was a game changer for the Sprint G2! I hope we can still have access to it soon! 1.8 was soooo close! Bring it back pleaseeeeeee!

No, its a G2 Rom. Its a port from a G3 dump but its for a G2 so it belongs in a G2 forum.

Rom for the G2 that's ported from the G3, the rom is sim unlocked, very easy to unlock a Sprint LG G2. Always flash the GSM version of the Rom through Aroma

I saw this rom before, but didn't want to flash it because the developer closed the thread. If they ever decide to continue development I will be glad to flash it. Appreciate your response.

I tried using the fix. Ithink got me further with the process except it went into an infinite bootloop every time.
Are they certain instructions to go by or something else that I'm missing?

The rom the update sky-high kernel n da fix. It booted up for me. It took a few minutes to boot up so just wait

I just flashed everything my phone booted n rooted just no Bluetooth. First river rom 5, the rr5.1 update,sky high kernel 5.8.1 from s6 edge plus tmobile fourm, n the fix i posted. Im using it now it took a few minutes to boot up be patient

Great Job ....... :good::good: Really Dream Come True :laugh::fingers-crossed:

I hate to even ask...

... but how can I use my Note 7 again? I never installed the "Stop the 60% battery limit", and I had it off for month now. I am afraid to turn it on, because supposingly T-Mobile will automatically, no matter what, install a "Brick this Phone NOW" update. At least this is my understanding.
That said. The hardest part is, that I do not have the time, nor the "understanding", to filter through a thousand post, "deciding" what is useful info and what is not. As great as this site is, it is also the downfall for someone like me.
So, if someone out there feels like wanting to be my HERO, please tell what to do. Even though you probably did it already a thousand times in this forum before, be my Obi Wan Kenobi and guide me in the right direction.
