Can i please know why any theme i apply on substratum will show my quick settings menu like this??
How can i make it normal, or is it an oreo thing?
This is what mine looks like running my theme,,,,sometimes you have to play around with the systemui overlay. Every once and a while it gets stuck or doesnt want to theme right,,,also try rebooting after applying the overlay.

Theme Alined does the same thing with my phone on oreo. No solution yet, but I turned off the interface overlay and applied it from different theme and it worked.

Its just that without the system UI and the status bar, the theme looks incomplete. And btw how did you apply it from a different theme?

Thanks I was able to install substratum by pushing masquerade as a system app which i extracted from a custom rom. I was able to use some themes ( not all overlays) will test it further more through the weekend and update

Thank you for the note on Swift Black & Dark. I purchased both because of your post. I was almost about to switch to a non-stock based ROM but then saw this!

just dont apply overlays on android system, otherwise power menu gets bugged and turns in soft reboot
Besides that, is it also possible to add full oms support to oos? By creating a custom rom oos based and add oms support?

I had already applied it all with Swift Dark and am not having any issues with my Power Menu or Reboot Menu. How can I test to see what's wrong that you're referencing? I powered off, I rebooted, rebooted into Recovery and again into Bootloader and all of it worked properly that I could see.

I'm using custom ROMs right now, but maybe the bootloop was caused for using old 7.1 instead of OOS to get black notifications, don't remember exactly sorry
Sent from my OnePlus 3 using XDA Labs

Please confirm. Thanks

when u say u have tried you mean lock clean or other substratum themes. substratum themes are known to cause bootloops unless you use swift dark/black or otherwise dont apply the android system overlay.

I have choosed the three option
1. Only_Status_Icon
2. Clean
3. Only_Lock_Icon
But still getting clock on lockscreen.
Please see the screenshot.
You should click on the floating button on the lower right . INSTALL AND ENABLE it should reboot your phone with changes
Edit
I just tried it as well and it removes everything else except the clock.

So I noticed in the display>advanced>device theme I can pick a theme I have installed via Substratum. Even after reboot I can choose between pixel and the installed theme. Now it only themes system UI colors. Is it possible to have complete themes and use this method? And has anyone else noticed this?

I suppose I was more curious on how an installed theme from Substratum ended up on the themes option list. I've always used full Substratum devices so the entire Andromeda thing is new to me.

because the mechanism that substratum uses is built into oreo, hence the setting is revealed as it thinks its a system resource.

Helo xXLuKyXx,
You can do it with Substratum, main topic link : https://www.xda-developers.com/substratum-hub/
To use Substratum you need to root your devices with Magisk if you used OREO this topic explain how you can do, https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2-lite/how-to/guide-install-magisk-proper-support-ota-t3836952 Else tell me I will explain how you can do it.
PS : Sorry for my very bad english,
Pierre.
I'm on pie without root... I only can change status bar to Black and Green...

Customize OnePlus 7ᵀ fingerprint icon as you want through the app.
- You can set the color and transparency of enabled and disabled FP icon.
- You can set any image you want.
It should work on all OOS versions. Reboot is needed every time you change the icon.
Download>> OPFP Control App
Few Icons and screenshots attached.
Special Thanks to Zacharee1 for building the app.

How do you replace the FP img to a custom one?
App force crashes every time I touch the change icon section.
Colour changes of default icon work fine.
Ok, work fine after a second reboot for me,
Nice job, thank's
You know what the ideal size for the custom image please?
Edit : it's ok , apparently, it's resizing automatically!
So, it's ok, but, one little thing, a grey circle is visible under my logo, you know why?
My screenshot : https://imgur.com/a/iEyygzH
Had trouble getting it to apply until I opened Magisk Manager and used it to reboot the phone. After the reboot the fingerprint icon had been applied.

Change of icon colour works fine.
Change attempts of the icon itself causes App to FC - a restart/ Magisk reboot did not help.

First, download the png images from the first post. Open OPFP Control app then click the option (Icon Image Normal) to select the image then do the same for Icon Image Disabled. If your app force closes then clear the Storage & Cache of the app. You are good to go...
