Slim rom has always been my perfect rom. I used slim6 for about 6 months continuously. Thanks @CodeZero.
Now coming to the slim7, I still like little tweaks here and there. But only thing I am missing is there is a feature they added to see all the previous notification (incase you cleared them by mistake) by holding on expanded notification bar. That feature was there on Nicklas's slim7. But I am not able to find it here.
Apart from that, everything is perfect.
And yeah, also waiting for oreo port just as others

anyway for oreo news, for me it's not easy to port oreo on this device. during i've not much experience on porting a new os to a device and i'm not really good at programming. It need much of implement of new drivers, sepolicy fix, kernel update and maybe some part of sensors.
So far i'm still stuck at sepolicy dependency for lineage 15, i'll try to fix it again when i've free time.
and note for slimroms, if some feature is disable or enable. it depends on changelog from my last update until this build, op should add current changelog to thread. so user can know what is added or change in that build

For battery not charged, maybe when you're using WiFi. WiFi usage is larger and use much voltage than your battery is charging, so your charge isn't fuel your battery. That's normal issue during charging from lollipop I think, so whenever you charge it's recommended to leave it without any activity and stay at sleep mode.
Thanks for your experience

Xperia M's charger offers only 0.5mA current.. so charging will be slow .... And as Nicklas Van Dam said if u r using WiFi then that might be a problem..
Please tell me when u r on wifi with charging, battery drain or just don't charge keeping same battery level...?
Thank you...

example if I only use the WiFi with the browser or YouTube maintains the same percentage of battery when I leave it at rest with the WiFi on it goes up the percentage but slowly so that it loads normally I have to turn off the WiFi and leave it at full rest now if I use a game charging the cell phone if the battery consumption is low but the battery life is normal the problem is during charging

Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android with subtly improved versions of the features you love to as many devices as possible. we've tried to incorporate and improve our features in a way that makes them more cohesive to improve the overall user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality..
What to expect:
- This is not a McCopy ROM. What goes into our build is well thought-out and not a bunch of stuff duck taped together because we could.
- maximum optimization. We do our research. We test hard. We build -fstrict -O3 globally and include a massive array of code optimizations and memory leak fixes that we write ourselves and eventually submit to AOSP or Linaro.
- originality in our source. We generate a lot of new commits being features or general code improvements. We are open source to share and improve the community but we also try to make sure we offer a unique experience.
- aesthetics.. hopefully in your opinion
General features:
SU, busybox etc
Stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
Enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
Custom written CRON and init.d etc
UI and graphics improvements
Custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
Halo (active display & lockscreen notifications are in review)
Usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
Animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
Additional quicksetting tiles
Immersive mode
Statusbar mods
Clock & battery mods
Lockscreen blur and other mods
Soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
Busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
yatta yatta yatta
More to come when i feel like updating the op

Nope the beta build was pretty stable hence no need to reinstall and this goes for all the beta testers.....Cheers am waiting for a battery life review
Well I said that because I miss the navbar with landscape buttons, but aside from that, yeah its good...
And battery life is so good... I charged the battery last night so I cant show you exactly how it did, but it was near 40% and I had like 4:30 hours of display time with like 18h of on time
Right now going for 4 hours with 1h display time and still sitting at 85%. So far so good

Camera seems to work fine, but it seems the NFC service is forcing the phone to stay awake.
Beautiful ROM!! Indeed fast and smooth!! Only issue I have though, EXT SDcard not accessible even with KK SD fixes tried!
Can anyone please clear some doubts :
1. Whether kernel is with the rom and install autometically.
2. Any chance of losing IMEI and hence no network?
3. Can dualrecovery by [NUT] be install with this rom?
Thanks..
Edit : I am lost IMEI...hence no network...can anybody help please..
I did the following:
1. With unlocked bootloader was on Romur 7.1 android 767 version and doomkernel v16 with dualrecovery 121 version.
2. Reboot to philztouch recovery.
3. Flash System, data, cache and dalvik
4. Install Vanir ASOP KK.
5. Install slim gapps
6. Install dualrecovery v121
7. Reboot and no network.
8. Revert back to Romur 7.1 and network back with IMEI..

About Us:
Dirty Unicorns is a project that started out with no name. It was a project that was first created based off AOKP back in the early days of Jelly Bean because of curiosity. In the early days it was just a one man show on one device (EVO 3D). Since then many others have joined the project and it has grown a whole lot. We have seen a lot of talent contribute to this project of ours and many of our contributors have gone to help other projects and that is ultimately why we do what we do.
Once Jelly Bean was over, we decided in Kitkat to move to a new base which was OmniROM. While AOKP was fun, OmniROM proved to be even more exciting because it challenged us to see what we could with something different.
With Lollipop, we have moved to an AOSP base with a lot of patches from CAF to make our older devices function as they should. That said it has been an awesome learning experience and is still not over! We are still learning every day and continue to move forward.
Few more things we will say is that we don't accept nor ask for donations. We don't believe in that. Everything that is necessary to keep this project going is out of our own pocket. Gerrit, Jenkins, Websites, Devices, etc.....
We will never ask for a dime. All we do ask is that you search, read and try to enjoy the process with us!!

Done. Check the screenshot tab in OP.
Yes. CMTE is there.
Title says it's for Mi 4 also. Does this ROM support LTE version of Mi 4?
This might sound noobish but what are the recommended gapps? OP says to flash "gapps linked below" but I couldn't find it. Should I go with banks_dynamic or du_tbo gapps? I think du_tbo is probably the right choice but just want to make sure.
EDIT: Also, could someone please tell me what's the difference between du_tbo and du_tbo_CLEAR? Thanks.

Phone apk starts coming on top of battery stats, phone starts heating like hell and only a reboot can save the phone... I just can't understand why nobody is reporting any fix for this problem.. I have posted on so many places asking for a fix but of no use.. Hopefully someone will help me out on this.. Only way i can manage to get rid of this bug is by flashing a kernel of an old nightly build dated back to 17th August.. After that almost all roms have been plagued with this issue.. Please someone help me out plzz

Hi mr. banks. heard a lot about you. specially gaaps. got the test build. and fall in love of DU. one of the most smooth rom n stable rom. had sod 2/3 times but managed with AD of. cmte rocks. now downloading official brb after flashing!
Not big stuff but have to mention for my Mi3
1. As in general ROMs and also this ROM, WCDMA Only mode gets reset to WCDMA Preferred after reboot etc (apparently doesn't happen with CM Official Nightlies and some other rare ROMs)
2. Testing menu not available via *#*#4636#*#*
Had to use some 3rd party app to access

Everything
WHAT'S BROKEN:
Mostly nothing. Camera, as you know, is the same as all other MM ROMs.
Instructions:
If you need them, this ROM probably isn't for you. However, here they are.
-> The new kernel requires the new bootloader that comes with the .236 official update. So make sure you've flashed that FTF atleast once.
-> Make sure you have a compatible recovery. TWRP-3.0.0-0 in the new recovery partition is recommended.
-> Wipe data/Factory reset.
-> Flash ROM, and then GApps.
-> Reboot. Profit!

Changelog
Code:
[B][U]20-May-2016[/U][/B]
-> Use UBERTC v5.2 for kernel (old one was 4.8)
-> PowerHAL permissions fix for random reboots in deep sleep.
-> Latest slim updates
[B][U]12-May-2016[/U][/B]
-> Switch to AICP trees
-> ROM and Kernel compiled with UBER toolchain
-> Sensors and other misc. issues mostly fixed.
[B][U]10-May-2016[/U][/B]
-> Initial bring-up.
Info:
As of the latest build, I have switched to AICP based trees, which means everything works fine now. Camera works of course, and takes great photos in good lighting. In low light, however, you will face issues. Only the stock camera app is able to handle 20.7MP pictures, but 3rd party apps do work, albeit at a lower resolution. Full manual controls are present of course, and other than some lag and occasional crashes, you should be pretty happy with the camera. At least I am. We must wait for Sony to bring in further improvements.
Such a great Rom would love to try after sensors are fixed
Thank you

Yep, Slim6 is basically a WIP, and they haven't merged much of their staging commits to their stable branch. Right now, as I said, it's basically a glorified AOSP ROM, but more to come soon.
Looking forward to it.

First off, you should try posting in those threads for issues with those ROMs.
Second, disable screen lock sound in Sounds -> Advanced Sound (whatever).

Sorry for that i accidentally replied here . Anyways your solution(disabling screen lock ) didn't help but what interesting is when i flashed your rom . The music runs fine with screen locked and the option enabled which you said to disable . So i guess i'll stick with slim . I don't want no fancy features kinda like pure aosp but only thing i want is theme . Will layer manager work here ??
Thanks .
Edit 1 - Found out the default music app which is in RR/AICP was giving the problem after i installed power amp , VLC and other app . No such thing was found and by chance your rom didn't had any default music app .Hope this helps .

Again, you should've probably posted that in those threads, seeing as this ROM doesn't have that issue.
And yes, all MM ROMs have layers support by default, even pure AOSP.

This is caused by uber toolchain. OP should use UBER only on kernel.

Maybe you should try to flash it again with a clean wipe using TWRP 3.0.2 recovery.
P.S: Clean wipe is when you wipe system, data, cache, dalvik-cache and internal Storage.

The link you posted is not an original IOS ROM
What i know is unlike Android ,source for IOS is not availabe to public for compilation or porting to other hardware .Same is the case with Windows mobile OS .
The rom Link Above is just an SIMPLE ANDROID OS with apps (easily availabe at play store) and other IOS themed apps and settings (Though it really requires great time and effort full credits to the creator)
Now Comming to you second question battery life is better then cm13 due to some internal customizations and as far as i remember nui kernel had that feature long press power button to restart
Other solution is to just remove and reinsert the battery
Where is expand display option in that ROM ???????? N is there is privacy option like cm?
Please make this rom official!! thank you so much!

I don't care if you build ROMs or not. People need to start reading the XDA rules. Don't come here disrespecting peoples work. If you don't like it just move on everyone has different preferences in ROMs. Just keep flashing til you find the one that you like.
That being said let's get back on topic.
Awesome work devs keep up the good hard work

Just like Boys crave for sexy girls, and real Men care about the, inner being/true love, in their dream partner. Even tho I don't find wisdom in replying to your point of view, I'd like to tell u that most users care about the performance and efficiency of the rom and not merely the looks or so called customizations that you're referring to.
Conclusion :- Your liking of the ROM may not be good. But that doesn't mean that you can call somebody's work as bad. Simple as that
Btw what customization features of RR did u miss here? (A feature request would be rather be beneficial than calling the rom as simply bad)
