My Tab 3 is rooted and when using the Root Explorer app it is empty. Yes I have been rooting flashing this device, I have got the latest stock firmware on the device, but I am stuck in factory mode, and every time I reboot the wi-fi turn off and the message pops up that the device is in factory mode. Once that disappears I turn on the wi-fi and the device works as it should.
Is there a way to the proper files back on this tablet? I had a back up on the sd card using TWRP, but it decided to quit working, I can not even get the card to be recognized in my pc.
Please help
Try search for original firmware and put it back (stock image).

I thought I did that, I used what I found on Sammoble, is this not the original firmware?

So today I decided to unroot my phone so i used the following method http://galaxys2root.com/t-mobile-galaxy-s2/how-to-unroot-t-mobile-galaxy-s2-sgh-t989/ which includes the SGH-T989-UnRoot_ROM_Zedomax.zip
let i found out it didn't flash the stock kernel so i turned to odin, so when i tried to flash the .tar file from odin through download mode, it was stuck on setting up connection for like 20 mins and finally when my computer force closed the odin program, and my phone turned off.
After this my phone wasn't turning on at all what so ever no download mode, recovery or anything
and my computer reads it as OHUSB_DLOAD
i didn't have any roms installed either before i was always on stock but rooted
any ideas or is it fully bricked
thanks guys
She's bricked

So, a few days ago I flashed the Vanilla Root Box rom from a rooted & unlocked stock rom. Couldn't get a GPS lock so I read that some people had luck by flashing a ZVB rom, getting a GPS lock, and flashing back to Root Box. Well, when I flashed back to a stock rooted ZVB rom, my LGOG got stuck on the LG logo and wouldn't boot completely. So I went back into recovery, Hard Reset and Wiped Cache and Dalvik, Fixed Permissions, and tried to reboot..... still stuck.
Then I tried to flash back to Root Box and it wouldn't boot passed the startup screen either. So I said screw it and tried to use LGNPST with a ZVB teenybin. It seemed to load the software fine, but the phone would not boot or let me get to the fastboot screen so I couldn't get into recovery. After another attempt, I used LGNPST with a complete stock ZVB bin.
The phone finally booted completely but then I realized the home button had lost ALL functionality and the phone, when connected to the computer, wouldn't pull up the options to change from Charge Only to MTP/PTP. I had to manually go to PC Connection and change it from there. After rooting and then unlocking using FreeGee, tried to boot back into recovery and got stuck in ANOTHER boot loop at the LG screen. Decided to use LGNPST to downgrade to ZV9 and then LGNPST again to ZVB. I have now regained my home button and the device recognizes when connected to the computer.
However, my main problem now is, between all that flashing it looks like my device created a second storage partition. I now have a completely new internal storage file system and It took my regular storage and put it under a folder named "0". Has anyone ever seen this? Can I just pull off what I need from the old stuff and delete the "0" folder?
I have attached a picture to what my files look like now. It's in a .7z because the size of the image was too large. On the left is the new system with the "0" folder highlighted and on the right is what's inside the "0" folder.
Okay buddy.
So my fast boot screen doesn't let me display the options I toggle so I have to wing it to get into recovery.
The sdcard is emulated so the internal folders will be /0 and /0/0 and so on. So you just need to travel those directories until you find you ROM and gapps.
I'm not used to the way the LG OG emulates the sdcard but I'm getting there.

Thanks man. Im just gonna backup what I need and delete the 0 folder. But I realized I have a new problem now. My device refuses to boot into the bootloader so I cant get into recovery. Every time I try, my device gets stuck at the LG screen and I have to use a TeenyBin to get the device to boot all the way.

I'm running on 4.3 and I was installing a font using Font Installer and rebooted the phone. Everything seemed to go smoothly until it wouldn't get past the at&t logo. so i boot into recovery so i can mount the system and fix the fonts but it wouldn't show up on my pc. i tried to mount the usb storage and still nothing. i made a nandroid just to save my data and left it in the internal storage. my phone killed my micro sd so i couldn't place it there. the only choice i had now was to use odin to restore the phone. i got into download mode but my computer no longer recognizes my phone so now restoring it with odin is no longer an option. so now i really have no idea what to do. :/
EDIT: finally got odin to recognize my device by countessly reinstalling the drivers through KIES

reflash 4.3 and you'll be fine, just next time try an easier app that does not need ROOT
try myfonts from the play store that does not need root and DOES NOT PROMPT TO RESTART (easiest and safest way to change font) i have the app on my phone
i used font-installer and almost bricked my S3, since then i have not used it

i tried to reflash 4.3 but i keep getting an error on both clockworkmod and twrp recoveries
Problem: Stuck on white/black screen, can't boot into recovery, able to boot into download mode
I recently returned my phone to stock following the return to stock tread (4.1.1), however, my first OTA update from ATT (4.1.2), after the install finished it stuck at boot up screen. And I can't get into recovery screen at all no matter what I try.
Tried to flash TW recovery
Tried to flash CWM recovery
no success, any help?
Edit, I noted whenever my phone is off, when plug in the charger/usb cable, my phone automatically goes into the black/white letter screen. WITHOUT touching any button what so ever.

Use Kies to emergency recover back to stock 4.1.1.
Steps. (READ ALL BEFORE STARTING)
1.) Downloads Kies onto your pc
2.) Install drivers to pic
3.) Open Kies and go to TOOLS > instal/upgrade firmware.
4.) Kies will ask you for you device model. AT&T = SHE I317. And your serial number. Located behind the battery.
5.) Hit start in Kies it will down load the stock firmware to your PC. Follow the instructions.
6.) It will eventually ask you to put your phone in download mode and connect it to the pc. Do this.
7.) Don't touch it. It is going to take about 10-20 min depending on your Internet speed and your computer.
When it is complete your phone will be back to stock. The same it was the day you pulled it out of the box.
***I would also make sure you back up any data on your phone because it will delete the sd card. It is also wise to remove any external storage sd.
****when finished you can re root using cf auto root or take the OTA update to get you back to 4.3.

Did you get it working? Mine has the same issue. Sucks...
Kies does not work with a Note II.
hey! any solution, ???
KIes 3
I downloaded the newest version of Kies, it is called Kies 3. My note 2 connects to it easily. I have not had to try the emergency repair. Here is the link for it. Hope it helps.
http://www.samsung.com/sg/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/JSP
I used the above mention Kies procedure to return my phone to working condition. I was also stuck on the Samsung logo for hours. I tried flashing several backups in Clockwork mod several times for several hours. My sd card would not mount as well. I could use wifi but no phone service. During the Kies process it prompted me to do an emergency repair which I did but this was only after doing a factory reset, and cache wipe, and dalvik cache wipe. I followed the steps by ShrekOpher and my phone was returned to 4.1.2 stock. My new problem is that I made the mistake of updating to 4.3 OTA and now have a locked bootloader. Everything works perfectly except now I'm not rooted. Screen Mirroring works perfect which was the main reason for my misadventure. I'm wondering if I root manually will my screen mirroring be disabled like it was when I was on the unofficial 4.3?
Screen mirroring checks for rooted status and won't run if detected.
See bottom of post #2 here for a link to a solution to that...

T Mobile Galaxy S4 M919
I rooted the phone this week and later on bricked it after flashing a ROM. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong, but have two ideas.
1. When I used ODIN, the COM setting did not automatically go into COM 6, as all the videos about rooting my device showed. Instead it read COM 4. Might that cause an issue?
2. When I flashed the ROM using ROM Manager (which I just found out was the incorrect one for my phone), the phone seemed to have froze on me and would not leave the download ROM page for over 10 minutes no matter what button I pushed. I then took out the battery and bricked the device where I refused to start all together. I then attempted to unroot which allowed it to go into the T Mobile splash screen, and no further.
So, of those two issues, I am sure the ROM Flashing had a lot to do with it, yet I am wondering if ODIN contributed since booting after the root process did create booting errors which would put the device into safe mode.
Go into recovery mode and wipe data to get past the T-Mobile splash screen.
