Good day to each and everyone of you! I'm here to ask some help regarding my KingSton DT 101 G2 (DataTraveler).
Let me briefly explain the issues and the solutions I tried. I got this USB from a friend and asked if I could have it, she gave it and told me she was about to throw it away because she can't see any files or could barely see the USB folder. I still had it and tried a few things to make it work. Before that, I inserted the USB to my LapTop. It successfully installed the driver for it, and I can see the device in My Computer.

As you can see, my friends' files are still there, so I tried to get a peak of it if any of it is important. Surprisingly, I actually remembered that she told me that this USB was somehow broken or corrupt. There you go, some weirdo files.
I didn't touch any of them and just headed to format it as soon as possible, this is what happened when I tried so. I also tried not checking the Quick Format box and waited for hours but still got the same result.
I've also scanned it with USB Fix, ESET Smart Security, and other USB Sector tools and whatsoever but it isn't successful and always says that either the operation can't be completed or an error.
Can anyone of you here please help me? Thank you, I'm willing to listen on any suggestion just to get this USB fixed.

Connect the USB to your Android phone. The phone will give a notification that the usb is damaged. Tap on it and it will ask for confirmation to format. Tap format, and your USB will be ready to use.
If the phone doesn't recognize the usb as damaged, you can format it even then.
If it says that the usb is blank, just pull out the otg and connect it again, this time it may recognize the USB as damaged or you may be able to read the USB, just go to settings and format it.

The best app for bluetooth and usb tether is foxifi. You can get it on play. The best app for hotspot is idoneapp it's in here. To get your options back in settings you may have to reinstall your firmware. When the rom starts don't go past the first screen (Wi-Fi setup) until hands free activation is complete.

It looks like my post didn't stick. To get your settings back you may have to reinstall the firmware. When the rom sets up don't go past the first screen until hands free activation completes (Wi-Fi set up screen). If you need the firmware -

It looks like the hotspot option isn't on because you don't have cell data.
So, recently I tried to use this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/development/stock-rom-ul-z00a-ww-2-20-40-168-t3354526
after revert back from CM13 custom ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zen.../rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-nightly-builds-t3264492
But the result is my phone stuck in Asus logo.
Tried to access recovery by pressing power button + volume up but cannot go into recovery.
Tried to connect phone to PC via USB cable but the phone is not detected (cannot try fastboot from PC).
Here is what I did before my phone bricked:
1. Reboot into recovery (I'm using TWRP)
2. Wipe everything except MicroSD
3. Install SuperSU (downloaded from the thread)
4. Install ROM v168 (downloaded from the thread)
5. Reboot system
After that my phone stuck in Asus logo.
Tried to search solution from many sources still no luck. Already posted in the thread but still no answer from anyone.
Please help because I don't have backup phone :crying:

Did you really flash supersu before you flashed the Rom? That's probably the cause. Have you tried any of the bootloop solutions posted here yet?

Yup, tried this method and my phone is resurrected.
But the content of that tutorial was hard to understand at the beginning

I've followed the steps provided in the thread so I assumed that superSU was flashed already.
How to verify if it's flashed or not? Can I verify before moving on to the next step?
My phone is resurrected now thanks to steps provided by summit.
Could it be because I was using TWRP before?

1. Make sure your device shows up for awhile during boot
(when the phone vibrates upon boot)
2. Make sure you selected MOOREFIELDS.
3. Once done selecting the files " change the gp override flag under OPTION to 0x80000807"
Hey, I used to know about this stuff years ago but stopped so I'm a little lost.
I bought a LG G7 Canadian version off some person (Kijiji) and the phone works fine its fast but I noticed it wasn't normal.
When i start the phone up text says "your device software cannot be checked for corruption" then the phone works normally. The launcher also has a watermark that says userdebug 7.0.6 (70000600) 329.
I've spent the whole day trying to remove it but can't find a way bc Im scared I'll brick it since its Canadian Version.
I'm able to boot the phone into recovery and stuff.
In developer options it says the OEM is unlocked But I thought it wasn't possible with the Canadian version? The person I bought it from seemed clueless about it -_-
Some things to add - The IMEI works, calls etc. There's no S/N. The phone has no "ThinQ" brand on the back but it says LG. It's currently unrooted. I think they may have done that b4 selling to me?

I reset it 5 times. It has something to do with root. I cant post this in the other section. Resetting wont fix something that has to do with Bootloader stuff
Canadian version is not unlockable so my only assumption is the phone you have is not a Canadian version and perhaps crossed flashed to canadian firmware

Yes I can fastboot. And yeah that seems more logical and extremely more confusing at the same time.
I'm on same phone. Dude that sold it to me said it's Euro model but it's showing Canadian LG-G710AWM20c and I'm the opposite, I want to root/unlock/bootloader unlock but keep running into dead ends. Anyone grab the wheel and point me somewhere usefully? I've done many searches & much reading. There is a root for uwm I believe it was, it was American, can I flash their firmware the unlock with modded bootloader? I'm will to try risky stuff if it has logic. Don't care much for the phone. If I ruin it just a reason to grab Samsung Galaxy S10.

LOL man I gave up and just flashed stock firmware to fix it. Idk how the dude modified the phone the way he did but this phone is actually trash. Bluetooth sucks, cant root it, gg.
I gave a hard reset from stock recovery to my realme x three days ago. after wiping all data my phone reboot and ask for my Realme Cloud Password.). but if I submit my password correctly. it's not working. but if i submit a wrong password. then it shows wrong password. please check the video of this problem.

Did you resolved this problem?
Finally found solution. Activation does not seem to work with Wifi.
I inserted my SIM card and turned on data connection then entered my
Realme ID password and it successfully unlocked.

I have the same problem. My phone is locked now, and the 'Activate my phone' app is not connecting to any network. I tried to connect to different wifi networks, also tried with mobile network, and it just show the same error message about the device cannot connect to the internet.
It's strange you are not able to work with it via Wi-Fi.

I am a Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G user, and I have some issues with my unit regarding the usb debugging and my external USB suddenly it is not functioning on my phone anymore, and, even the tethering on my phone cannot also be selected for it to work. But, I can still charge my phone using my pc or charging brick, and even use the usb port for my headset. (with headset adaptor for usb type-c)
There is no problem with my pc or even my external usb, cause I have tried them on my wife's phone and the external usb and my pc can detect her phone. What could be the problem? Can anybody help me with this? Tia
I am also facing the same problem. Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro user here. OTG and USB options stopped working all of a sudden. I have created a thread here regarding the same. Some users in xiaomi europe forum have also reported the same issue. Looks like this is a hardware issue triggered by some specific setting. So far no solution.
Actually, I ordered a cheap priced charging port for Mi 10T from Shopee. It is not a original Xiaomi product but an OEM I suppose. It has not arrived yet, but, as soon as I receive it, I will go to a technician and have my stock charging port replaced. Maybe around less than month from now I will get back here and post the result. Cause, this is the last resort in finding solution to this issue...
4 days ago I had the same problem as you, I found a way to solve this error.
First you go to Settings, select All parameters, select Android version, if it is android 11, then you push the volume of android 11 up and down 3 times until it shows number 11, then plug the phone into the computer to see if it shows usb for file transfer.
