I know there was a lot of talk about reducing lag in Jelly Bean, I'm curious if it was all about graphics or if they improved audio lag as well.

Someone commented that it did improve on JB through their Bluetooth headset.

Yes audio latency is supposedly solved in jelly bean but its very hardware dependent.

I tried some virtual drums apps w/ ICS 4.0.4 but the delay was too long rendering them nearly useless. I forgot about them but still I did not uninstall them so the same apps got re-downloaded after I flashed Jelly Bean 4.1. Now they're all playable and fun.

Hi why do games like Asphalt 8 crash on touchwiz based ROMs on the S3. I have seen people play aspahlt 8 on 512 MB RAM phones without any issues. but after 5 minutes it crashes on Touchwiz.
I can run it on AOSP roms without crashes. But I want it to run on Touchwiz perfectly what can I do to fix this?

I recently downloaded NEED FOR SPEED NO LIMITS game on my op3 running open beta 8, i noticed that the game runs at lowest graphics and resolution compared to other devices high end devices.
So, i thought it was os problem and reverted back to open beta 7 and oos 3.2.8 but still I'm getting lowest graphics, is this OS problem or GAME problem.
I even tried editing graphicssettings.json file in the game but still no help
Hi everyone! Im new on modding z5 premium e6833. Im facing severe lag with the current Nougat 7.1.1. I getting frustrated. Can anyone help or give me steps on downgrading my official 7.1.1 firmware? Thank you. I am hoping by doing such will at leasy reduce the lag/graphic stuterring.

I lag even im just browsing. I installed Shadow fight 3 and. The audio stutters as well as the game itself. Temperature tends to increase quickly when shooting 4k videos.
I don't to know if im the only one not satisfied with my z5p knowing its specs it should perform better.
why htc 10 can't run pubg game smoothly on medium setting? pubg run smoothly on low end device better than htc 10.. what's the wrong with htc 10..
hello, I tried this configuration in different roms (leedroid, pyrania, resurrection remix, lineage) and there is one that stands out above all.
my configuration: android 7.2.1 rom pure fusion, native resolution of 1080 * 1920, activated forcing gpu 2d, activated MSAA X4 and finally in battery I removed optimize application.
in pubg I configured it in minimum resolution and maximum fps.
in this way pubg mobile finciona without fps or lag drops.
PS: Pubg + recording screen no problem. discord + pubg no problem. discord + pubg + record screen no problem.
most of the roms I tried were 7.xxx and also probe 8.xxx in leedroid, rom stok, hd and all had a poor performance
as second place I would leave leedroid nougat, since it had lag drops or pulls ... in the configuration in aroma in the kernel I think it was the butterfly option that was good + the same configuration mentioned above. in this rom do not probe pubg + discord + recording.

Its the problem with the HTC stock software. The most you can do is try HTC Boost Plus which helps to boost the game by lowering the resolution to 1080P but dont expect too much. I faced such issues as well while playing at an unbearable 10fps. After using a custom rom Pure Fusion OS, the game runs smoothly, even when hot on medium settings, i didnt need to tweak any settings at all and it was playing at the full resolution of 1440p
Do note that if you wish to install a custom rom, u may face issues with the home button/finger scanner which does not work at all
It is true that it heats up but not so much when using this config since the resolution is lowered. but when playing in hd it gets quite warm at 70 ° c / 160 ° f app but still runs very well, you only notice when you go in a vehicle. it's good that you say what version of android you have, if you are soff or something and that I can go from nougat to oreo and oreo to nougat without losing features ... but in pure fusion I have no problems with internal cell phone deaths

I'm using leedroid Android 8 rom.native resolution of 1080 * 1920, activated forcing gpu 2d, activated MSAA X4 i also try these too but only playble in frame rate smooth and lowest graphics setting but it's only 20-25 frame rate..

turn off msaa probably you can better performance
U are right man i m running stock firmware android O and say wht i cant play freaking game its snapdragon 820 and adreno 530 have some respect man even mediatek guys playing it on high specs please help .. or is htc 10 really crap? Coz game works fine on other devices with same specs

Reason I dont use stock Roms is the lack of performance. I'm using resurrection remix 7.1.2 with elite kernel. I get pretty good performance on high setting.

What do you mean, if the zip works? I installed version 7.1.2 on my HTC and it works perfectly. If you are installing this ROM and you are using Android Oreo, you will first need to downgrade firmware to android Nougat
