Home and driving now in MotoE (OFFICIAL)

Atlast Motorola updated their Motorola Assist App and Motorola Contextual Services that activates home and driving profile in our beloved Moto E and moto G...:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::good::good::highfive::highfive:
I know there are many ports of this app in Apps and theme section of moto g...but using that method gives frequent fc in motorola contextual sevices and itz quite annoying... but having any app officially is always better... :laugh::laugh:
update these apps via play store...
1) Motorola contextual services.
2)Motorola assist.

There is no setting option under talk to me.

yes its showing home profile activated when i am at home..... driving mode works only when yr cell detects motion via gps...

To enable reading mode ,change your default language to English UK.

But by default english us is preinstalled..so for me english us is working..and for those not being detected at home..try location at high accuracy

Music app is not working in background bro

Yo man i cant thank you enough for actually making a decent functioning rom for this device it was **** having no bluetooth audio and a pink camera ypur an actual LEGEND!!!
only bug i jave notice thus far is no ok google detection or voice to text typing....

The development team must be congratulated over this work, its the best custom ROM I've used EVER and one of the most stable.
Just a couple of things I want to mention.
1. External links from the official Facebook app don't work and Facebook just closes, leaving a blank black screen.
2. I can't install any apk files from my external SD, I just can't press "install" from inside the file manager or press it many times with no effect .......

the Bluetooth audio still does not work and I cannot for love nor money with or without magisk get the OK Google detection to work

I don't want to be controversial or rude to anyone but all I'm seeing on these Motorola custom rom threads is users demanding the poor development team to fix VOLTE.
Each rom I've seen for the Moto E3 has a warning that VOLTE is currently not working.
I find it extremely annoying so many people are being so demanding of the development team in these forums and comments.
VOLTE will be eventually fixed when they fix it, not when you all "demand" it to be fixed.
In my country, (UK) we don't even have a VOLTE service and if I made a post to a development team in a forum in a demanding way that they fix an issue I would be banned from that community straight away.
Why don't you all download and install a VOLTE patch for nougat custom ROMs?
I can't believe so many of you have been badgering the poor developer rather than Google a VOLTE fix for nougat custom ROMs that was very easy to find.

I was going to say why doesn't someone port it to moto E3 but there is no fix for volte on meditek processors, so people begging the development team to fix it are wasting their time.

Ram management needs some improvement and camera is not good especially when using flash pictures turned out to be just white ,except that the rom is awsome ,

What's different with your AR comparing to AR official one?
And ar kernal used to have a bug where u can't delete files in obb folder and doesn't allow apps with obb to update... Does your kernal AR have that problem?

One is stock lineage kernel by dd3. Other AR kernel by Ayush. Download whichever you prefer

New Android Pie update came up, might be stable this time and hopefully not like the Max Pro M1
For Oreo users = 1.6GB
For Pie Beta users = 410MB

Getting error in installing the update ... I have rooted my phone before and for installing the update i have unrooted and installed stock recovery. Even i am getting the ota update but getting an error while installing the update.
Is this because of rooting my phone ?

there should be no circle in the pill button. it's like bug to see.

Its widevine L3 after the update for some reason btw.

Gcam is working perfectly fine even after update. No issues. Seems like camera2api is enabled.

I dont see a pill itself, my nav buttons are same like old.

I have updated. Looks a lot buggy. I cannot find Digital Wellbeing in my settings. There is a circle on the home button which looks ugly. Animations looks laggy at times.

Update done.
Home screen is a bit laggy, ASUS keyboard is also glitching. Its picking the letter below the one being pressed if clicked anywhere other than top most border.
edit : compatibility issue with asus keyboard app. key press is a bit messed up. no issue with stock google keyboard. sony album app compatibility issue. unable to delete images. nothing happens after pressing delete. sony music is working nicely though.

They didn't add digital wellbeing as a system app, but you can install it using apk. Install Pixel Shortcut from play store to open the app

Google Camera on p10 lite

I searched on the net for a working gcam version on the p10 lite, and found working (not crashing) versions that were originally developed for the MI 8 by BSG.
The hdr works, too.
But the biggest drawback is that the colors do not fit. Sometimes the picture is black and white, sometimes too red.
Does anyone know a working version/good color settings?

i tried a lot and they all have the red and blue channel inverted or something like this, i think google cam works from raw and the raw record on this model is messed up.

Thank you for the link, unfortunately I can't get satisfying results, color is completely off, it's bothers me about not having enough space on the memory left (even) though there is...
All other functions than straight shooting and panorama do blackout the screen...
Don't understand this as "complaining" my only intention is to provide feedback!

Hi Guys,
i was looking for a working gcam apk too and i just tried about thirty apks from
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/ and https://www.cyanogenmods.org/google-camera/#download.
Most apps don't even open or crash after a few seconds.
With my p10 lite (android 11 octaviOS) this and MGC_8.1.101_A9_GVv_MGC.apk app work properly.
