I did find that site, but was reluctant to post it and was hoping to find another well known source for the KDZ. Eventually did get it from that site and it flashed fine.
I hope someone captures and shares the VS986 Nougat KDZ when it eventually appears in Q3 .

Just for confirmation I just got off the phone with LG and they have confirmed that nougat will be released soon but they would not give me a date.

Not yet on Verzion

South Korean LG G4s received Nougat a few weeks ago:

No official LG written words on if and when other countries' G4s will receive Nougat.
Since the South Korean LG G4s are not getting OTA updates yet, we might have a long wait - if we ever see Nougat on the VS986.

I'd say till sept. or oct.

After putting us through LG G4 bootloop hell, I hope LG rewards us with the taste of Nougat

So what can we in the US do to generate some backlash to LG so we get Nougat too?

If it's not out by September 30 (end of Q3) which LG said when the 7.0 update for the LG g4 was coming out then It's probably not coming out for Verizon g4

Looks like LG nailed the coffin shut on the LG G4 and we won't get Nougat according to the LG link in this post:

Yeah, so I wonder if that's the end of the road for the rest of the G4s now based on the linked LG article. Maybe no G4 updates for even those models/countries.

If the next update is not 7.0 and only security updates I'm calling it that the Verizon g4 won't get it

I can not load tr version gives a tot error...........
I have installed android 7 as H815P................................
I did it with WinHex as 815P, but when I start to load the tr version I get a tot invaled error..................................................................

Can you do this for LG H818P? Thank you.

Hi guys, just a confirmation, used Hex editor in the YouTube link above, changed to H815P, did a "refurbish" on LGUP, on a dirty MM and it works perfectly!!

Was expecting to have to use a spare cause of the possibility of the modem not working, but it WORKS!

I have an European H815, I left the TOT file like it is and chose on LGUP - Update. It work from the first time, and after the first boot my phone was updated and with all the data on it, like when updating from OTA. Thank

Does it show that the V29A is on BETA ? becouse i read somewhere that this version is still on BETA so if it gets final release problably will go through OTA?
Also i would like to know if you saw any difference on speed and battery becouse i am willng to update the phone as soon as possible.

As you can download v20g kdz from LG Bridge, by going into download mode and then clicking Update Error Recovery, I was wondering, if you manually update to v29a, would it download v29a or would it download v20g and downgrade my phone (or would it just not work)

v20g...... v29 betas was OTA theres isnt a v30 nougat official.

I think v30 is for a different model (G5 maybe). I'll give it a go and see what happens.

the v30 version is not for G5 it is for the LG G4, but it has not been officially released for the H815 version only for the Korean version (F500??) , the v29b version came as a beta test in Poland , and that is why You can not download it threw LG Bridge...... If You search here on Xda or on Google for that sake You will find the answers You are seeking....

You can use the v29 kdz version with LG Up , that worked great for my H815 EU version :good: , at least I havent had any issues with it..... Just remember to be on the v20p version before flashing in Lg UP... :fingers-crossed:
I dont know how to move the treads, I think You tag an Admin or Moderator and just ask them to move it to the correct place... Or, perhaps they dont care where we post anymore

LG G8 Android 10 beta UX 9.1

Hey has anyone tried the android 10 beta version for g8? Now it comes with new UX 9.1 which is cool and almost lookalike Samsung's one ui

So it seems that now, after successfully cross flashing your device (v40 and v50 with 1.15 cmd line and soon to be tested with 1.16), in theory, you could crossflash with korean firmware, then side load the OTA with lg up 1.16.

pay attention that the LG G8 Korean model has the exact 3 cameras on the back like v50. It's different from g8 us and g8s european.
But that doesn't mean it can't work.

I think that you can flash Korean firmware only on Korean models. Otherwise you can brick your phone. I have unlocked version 820QM7 and I don't take risk to flash 820N firmware.

LG G7 didn't bricked.
LG V40 also. But on the V40 wifi does not work after first restart. But reverted back works. So nothing to lose. But I repeat, hardware side, G8 has different versions, V40 and 50 don't.

Nope, because even the V50 shares the same camera apk version as the G8. All sensors are supported.
But who knows for camera libraries, again g8 shares 2 of the 3 sensors. Also who knows if other hardware is present on Korean?
