Hey all, I was running Marvels Contest of Champions on my XL using 7.1.2 DU, when I went to 8.0 and try to install it I get error message "Your device is out of storage space. Please clear some space and try again later" I have 450mb free in my root directory and 10gb of internal memory free. Im lost, any help would be appreciated.
Try clearing off more space and see what happens

Maybe it doesn't play nice with 8.0 yet
If somebody could chime in I would greatly appreciate it.

Goto the app permissions and make sure it has access to storage.

It looks like you have some automatic reporting going on that is generating that email. I know a lot of FCs (Force Closes) offer to report the issue, and some ROMs format it the same way. Check the settings of your ROM and see if there are any options turned on to automatically send error-reports.
I'm using the official ROM and there are no options like managing the error's report

I've solve this error by change the permission for 'bugmailer.sh'; all what's you need is rooted device and root explorer 'or any apps working as manager of file system
Everything now is working well
Thanks a lot

Title says it.
I started http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2075884 asking people to show/teach me how to move around partitions/virtuals in the device's memory drive.
My response however (as you can see in the link) was "you only have 8gb anyway, & about 3gb is used for system...
I'm just wondering, is anything wrong with my device? Please take a few minutes & test it yourselves.
Use http://goo.gl/jQBhs es file manager & check size of all files & folders at root dir - / (go back to parent of all, long press & hit select all, long press again, & hit properties). My results after about 20 minutes of waiting, was about 25gb!

As can be seen above, the "total space" is 11.78gb (of 16gb), with 594mb available. Adding up everything on the device, I've only used 5.8gb of space. Where did that additional 5.4gb of space go, and what can I do to get it back?
Pertinent device info:
Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320)
Cyanogenmod 11, Snapshot M11 (mondrianwifi)
Thanks in advance for all of your help, gents. It'll be very much appreciated! :good:
Check for any backups created in recovery. They gobble up space. Backup to your external sdcard.

What you need is the HandleExternalStorage module in Xposed, look for it in Xposed's download area, that was the only one that worked.
Will try it, thanks for the hint ?
Update: it worked flawlessly, thanks [emoji106]

Hi, guys.
I was using the Pixel ROM for my N5X 32GB and everything was fine, but I missed being 100% stock. So yesterday I flashed the 7.1.1 Developer Preview 2 and everything seemed fine. I left my apps downloading overnight. I usually download all my Spotify library and that takes up about 8GB of my storage - which was NEVER a problem, I've always had at least 2GB free in the previous ROMs.
The thing is, when I woke up today, I had lots of notifications saying I ran out of storage and when I checked, system alone was taking almost 19GB of my storage!!! I guess that's not normal at all. What have I done wrong? Do I need to format any partition? I'm clueless.
thanks for your help.
