Tutorial Viper4AndroidFX on AEX ROM

Hi,if u like V4A audio efect.ill share how u can use V4A in AEX rom.
First,u must rooted and install busybox.
-Ok if u done upper step,lets boot your zuk z2 into twrp
flash v4a4.2.zip(V4A 4.2) and reboot system.
-Now launch V4A,install driver and reboot
Ok,now its time to update latest V4A version 2.5.0.5
-Install RootExplorer (optional) or u can use twrp file manager to delete V4A 4.2 apk in system.
-Flash V4A 2.5 in twrp and u done.
Optional you can delete apk in system or disable MusicFx.

thank you, but i didn't find or couldn't do the delete part with root explorer or twrp, but it worked anyhow.

If you using root explorer try find viper4android 4.2 folder in root/system/priv-app.

Thank you for your information. I have got much easier way to use it(if you have magisk installed). First install the viper4android zip using twrp. Reboot. Then open mgix go to download and select viper4android. Just tap on the arrow and tap on install. After installing it will ask your permission to reboot. Just reboot your device and enjoy. Sounds tricky but process is as simple as water.

I flashed ARISE and it worked normally. But as for sound quality...meh

I don't think sound quality would still be lacking after you installed ARISE. Do share your setup (pm me, this isn't the correct thread) so we could get to the bottom of your issue.

Im just done with arise before..still nid v4a 2.5.0.4 driver. U have seen driver 2.5.0.5?nope,there only 2.5.0.4 driver.v4arise is modded apk and not original one.

If the hardware is ****e any kind of software is not going to make it good. It's not magic.

does it work on aex 5.1 ,( the january update)?

Haha, very timely post. I was trying to get Viper for the first time on Oreo two days ago.
One question, are apps other than music players processed by Viper as well? I ask because I installed Arise but emulators and games didn't get audio processing, only my music players.

I m also getting i/o error. I m on nitrogen 8.1 os..
Is this not compatible with 8.1?

I already tested it and I can say it is a beautiful rom but there are camera errors, wifi and sound. Waiting to see the fixes, although there is a file that fixes the camera but the wifi and sound there are errors.

I think so, in the description indicates to be J730x variants, but as I told you there are bugs that you can not use, yet. Waiting for corrections!

Can you try #binjibshaji Sound pacth??https://www.mediafire.com/file/ode3ijgejotmky4/Sound_patch_.zip
if it's not working.then you extract it & replace with new refinend kernel 2.8 boot img and replace other file from your 730g stock rom.then flash it..

I tried the flash but it still does not work ... but the earphone works. And this straw has a problem when I choose the oxygen kernel then the bootloop. sorry i use google translate

Any Working Dolby Atmos on Custom Roms 8.1?

Hi i have i tried dolby atmos mods in app section but all went bootlooped im using AOSiP 8.1. any dolby atmos mod working for this device? Im a fan of dolby atmos i hope someone can help or i'm willing to try any sound mod the have the same quality as dolby atmos thanks!

I have dolby atmos and Viper4android working on RR 8.1 - The only way that works for me was trying to intall the "Arise mod audio", but you have to modify the script in order to tell what is going to be installed in the device.

I was tried almost every viper and dolby on pie.but some users commenting on rom threads that they were using viper on pie.
So please send me link of Working viper.

For Dolby use this. It works on pie. I am using it.

For viperfx use the one with version 3.4.2. It is available in downloads section of magisk. While installing it will ask whether you want workaround or something like that, choose yes.
Remember if you want to use both of the above, install audio modification library found on magisk downloads section.

Question Atmos support with Magisk

Hello,
Has anyone here been able to use some Magisk module or any other way to enable Dolby Atmos on these phones? I've tried 3 or so different Atmos Magisk modules now and every one of them froze the phone on either the Google logo or on the boot animation (and I had to manually reflash, remove the module files and reinstall Magisk).
The three I've tried already:
some random one from the forums (author hellboy017, for 1+ 8 series) - I don't remember where I got it from anymore
Dolby Atmos Magic Revision
Dolby Atmos Razer Phone 2
None of these worked. By the way I'm not running stock but Evolution X instead - latest build of it. I don't think it matters but I mentioned just in case it does.
I'd like to get Atmos working because I got a 3mo trial of Apple Music which supports Atmos but not on Pixels. My $300 Samsung supports it...

I can't help with Dolby Atmos but you can use viper4android re

Using Magisk Delta? I tried installing it multiple ways - direct install, recovery sideload, patching boot image with and without uninstalling normal Magisk before, but I get the same issue - the EvoX boot animation stops after a few seconds, then it resumes after a few seconds and this goes on without booting... Tried ADB to get some insight but windows says that the device couldn't be recognized.

Yes, I use Magisk Delta but stock A13 ROM with May security patch.

2. Install G52 in Magisk Manager(https://www.pling.com/p/1908400/)
3. If you have multi audio mod, remeber to install AML(https://www.pling.com/p/1981006/)
4. Install this EQ profile patch in Magisk Manager(https://djxmaza.in/when-to-hoard-and-cash-out-in-crypto-trading/)

Why don't you think it's not right ?
That version is the mod of AML to make it more compatible with multi audio mod in your phone.
