I managed to grab the boot animation from H2OS system files and I love it. Looks better than the old plain OnePlus animation. I have created a magisk zip file to download. Also the bootanimation.zip for manual installation.

Before installing Magisk Module double check you have a bootanimation.zip in /system/media/
Magisk Manager Method
Download the Magisk Module zip
Open Magisk Manager and go to Module Tab
Click the + icon on the bottom and select the downloaded Magisk Module zip
Wait for it to finish then reboot
TWRP Method
Boot into TWRP Recovery
Hit Install and navigate to the Magisk Module zip

Manual Installation:
File Explorer Method
Download the bootanimation.zip file
Navigate to your /system/media folder (some phones use different folder location)
Find your original bootanimation.zip, and rename it to bootanimation.zip.bak
Now copy the downloaded bootanimation.zip into /system/media/
Set the permissions for the bootanimation.zip to RW-R-R (0644)

Weird they took it out. Worked really well on my Note 2
We might soon be able to install Face Unlock, OP in the International Note 3 forum posted he has it installed and will be posting files soon.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2496343
I was able to get face unlock working, I downloaded gapps-jb-20130813 and extracted the face unlock files. I then used Root Explorer to move the files to the correct directories. I rebooted and I was able to successfully configure Face Unlock.
I am getting an error uploading the zip file.
Here are the files I used to get Face Unlock working. Put FaceLock.apk under /system/app, make sure it has the correction permissions. The other files need to be put under /system in their respective sub-directories.

Yes it is... only rooted phones can change what's in the system partition.... OR, at least have TWRP as your recovery instead of Samsung's recovery. It doesn't take root to use FaceLock, so technically it's not required, but a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP is required...
EDIT: If you want to add the files manually, root is required...

Tried to flash the .zip file in Recovery Mode on a Verizon version, rebooted, and didn't have any luck. Was there any reason this should be TMo specific? Seems like it's an OS modification more than a carrier specific one,...
Update: FYI, I ended up manually moving the files to the previously cited folders on a Verizon version and got it to work. Not sure why I wasn't able to get the .zip file method working, but excited to have this option to access my phone!

Won't be that clear six months from now, when everybody will have forgotten about the developer preview and someone will stumble upon this thread. How will he/she tell whether it is about the "real" apps or the developer preview versions?
Doesn't cost anything to be precise, IMHO.
Nevermind, i copy the apk on System/Priv-app put the right permission and restart with wipe cache/dalvik and no error, anyway i don't know what is the difference

Really? Then you should ask him to specify the devs preview version (there'll be more) and that is for Nexus 5 and 7, and integrate the details in the file name since you might download and later on forget where from.
Come on dude...
P.D. And the apps are real, not imaginary. Dev preview doesn't mean fake, but early stage developement.

Shouldn't cause any issues cos the CM OTAs only update system. There's no user data being wiped with the OTAs. I for one haven't faced any issues with CM11 and the Android L apps.

Btw, now that you mention it, Xposed apps like AppopsXposed, Amplify,Powernap, greenify (Xboost via xposed) on mashmallow with it's "DOZE" feature are, are they still usefull? Also, how many are actually working on fully on MM so quickly?

After this fix you can install all supported modules like before (on Android N for example)
Installation:
1) Install Full Clean Stock Deodex FW .118 (wait until first start up)
2) Reboot into recovery and flash Fix;
3) After that you need flash root (Magisk or SuperSu)
4) After boot up go to Xposed Installer and press Install via Recovery (you need press a combination of Power + Volume Down - for it).
5) Wait until System boot up, it may take a longer as always.
If even after this tut you have problems with activation - just flash with recovery latest Xposed from official thread.

Sorry for late answer. Yes framework.jar and services.jar. And no, all system can be Odexed and you can install only patch, so i think you can make magisk module with fix or something like this for all Sony Oreo devices.

Omnijaw weather. I think the trial version is over
For a few days, the built-in weather extension has shown "No weather data available" in the DashClock widget on my home screen. I tried with custom location and with automatic location, and I got the same result. I assume it's a problem with the Yahoo Weather API
