I've been using official nightly builds of lineage on my oneplus 2 since May 2017 (probably).
Now I'm on lineage14.1 20170831 and still have these as my concerns.
I've noticed few issues and few feature requests to be made.
-UI lags after turning on WiFi or mobile internet for some time. Then goes back to normal once its done pushing all notifications.
-I've installed oxygen OS camera from apk mirror. It crashes frequently and I can't open even open lineage's camera until I restart the device.
-Now coming to feature requests, it's good that you've Live display mode so i need not worry about toggling to reading mode during evenings, but sometimes it occurs that I've to turn it off for watching a video or do any color sensitive work. So, a toggle for it on the notification panel would be appreciated.
-This point is something like a complaint with the existing UI. I'm from India where we use Jio network carrier. The company provides calling support in the LTE band *ONLY*. So it requires HD calling enabled every time and we've a notification on top saying "Device is HD capable". Is it necessary?
I'm a fan of Lineage OS and the team behind it. So I hope this post makes a change in upcoming builds.

Hello. I recently (today) installed Lineage OS 14.1 for my A3 2016.
I have a really big microphone problem. When e.g recording voice it has a very awkward robot noise, which is really annoying. But it isnt there in calls. Is there like any Magisk Module to fix this or?

I don't have this device but, seeing the Official LineageOS, unfortunately, being discontinued, the following threads reflect the Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 & 14.2 for your device and maybe this issue has been resolved on one of them.

I have installed Lineage OS 14.1 android 7.1.1 custom rom for my Samsung Galaxy E5 SM-E500H running android 5.1.1.
There are many things that are not good with this software like when I want to unlock the phone after turning the screen on, the screen freezes and starts doing many things that I don't. It means it's like that I am clicking on the screen but actually I am not. And an other thing is that the phone doesn't read the SIM card contacts. The phone can read the SIM, make and receive calls and messages. But the contacts on the SIM don't appear in the contacts list. And also one other thing, sometimes the screen does not respond to touches.
Does anyone have solutions for these problems?

I, personally, give posts 7-10 days for a response before taking other avenues.
I know that it seems like a long time, depending on the urgency but, I've been off the XDA Grid for a week or so and I always felt that this time frame was a fair one.
You can always edit your post and add a callout to the OP Developer.

I configured my S5 mini (SM-G800F) with Android 7.1.2 (LineageOS 14.1-20171022-UNOFFICIAL-kminilte). It works perfectly fine, until it stalls. This happens ten minutes or two days after reboot and shows a screen that is half blue (upper half with clock widget) and half black (lower half, standard background). In this mode, I can turn the screen on and off (with the button on the right), but I cannot use or even reboot the phone. Taking the battery out and in starts a new round.
Please let me know if you have any idea what the reason could be, or if I should check something.

I have a very common problem with 2016 Pixel (sailfish)
All of a sudden after one of the latest updates my microphone stopped working (to talk now i have to use my bluetooth headset or turn out speaker mode).
Google support did not help me, my guess is this is their way to encourage people to go buy their new ****ty pixel 3s...
Since this happened after a software update i assume i could fix this with a custom rom where google cannot control this.
Did anyone fix this issue with custom rom? Or is there any information on this problem?

I am probably an old fart but it seems the all the young guys has gone completely social by now and such an old to like a forum is not a good place to be.
I know it's sad but I also think is the future I also wonder what it means for the open-source in general and my thoughts are not very positive

Open-source is going fine. Gitlab, Linux and so on are all evolving.
I think the problem here is a lot of developers are more young and hobbyists so they do what they grew up doing. Living in social media and with the smartphone.
As you can see, LineageOS official posts things on their website. It would be extremely unprofessional to do things via telegram. This is why kids here do like that. They don't care very much. This is why you see roms being adopted and abandoned in a matter of weeks too.

I reluctantly signed up to Telegram just for this and so am not a regular user myself. I'm trying to cut my use of messenger/soc media not increase it but will check in every now and again. I've messaged @mdeejay to ask if he can do a LOS16 thread - he has them for his other ROMs. If anyone knows of a Telegram to RSS feed or any other way of getting messages out automatically I'd like to know. Not ideal for now but I'll try.
The ROM works fine for me.
