i9195 definitely has LTE. It just depends on whether you are in a LTE area, and whether you have enabled LTE in Settings -> mobile networks.

Possibly your network uses LTE frequencies not supported by the i9195

No. Only edge network will work. 3g and 4g work on completely different spectrum and radio frequency

If that was true the galaxy note from att wouldn't get T-Mobile 4 g which it does when flashing a blaze 4g modem I also want to know if this will work on the att s3

Yes it does I have it working on my father in laws note

That may be true about the Note 2, but an ATT S3 does not have the T-Mobile 3/4G frequencies.

Yes this guys right. Take a look for yourself:
ATT Galaxy Note Specs
T-Mobile Galaxy S3 Specs
ATT Galaxy S3 Specs
Notice how the Note and the T-Mobile Galaxy S3 have that 1700 Mhz frequency? Thats what T-Mobile broadcasts their 3G/4G spectrum on. If the phone doesnt have those frequencies, then it wont work no matter what you do.

That's different. It is a whole different phone with a whole different SoC.
Let's not say things that we cannot prove.
Don't shoot this guy completely down. It will get T-Mobile 3g/4g as soon as T-Mobile refarms their network.

Yeah, because they live in one of the small parts of the US that uses the 1900mhz band for HSPA. It will not work everywhere else.

What about the other way? A T-Mo SGS3 on AT&T? What does that get you? I know NO LTE but what about HSPA+ ?

Yes, HSPA+ will be fine. But as you said, no LTE.
Hey guys,
So I know this may be a noob question but I bought my Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 yesterday in Italy. I know that Italy is getting 4G/LTE in 800/1800/2600 Frequencies. My N7100 accepts the 1800 mhz GSM frequency.
Does that mean I will be able to access the 4G?
If not, can I do something? Flash a radio?
If there is no solution with my current phone, ill need to get another phone and spend another 699 eur.
I know many say you need the Note II LTE but it will be on 700 and 2100, not the ones offered in Italy.
My friend has the same issue with his brand new SIII.
Ideas? Anyone help?
2G, 3G and 4G (LTE) can use various freqs in different regions. Sometimes they even share the same freq. A 1800Mhz 3G does not mean that 1800Mhz 4G will work. It's different a modem by hardware and software in the phone.

So there is absolutely nothing that I do? What about flashing new modems?

Your N7100 doesn't have an LTE radio, so it is never going to work on LTE.

Will a 4g enabled device like the iphone 5, galaxy note 2 or galaxy s3 bought in hong kong work on uk EE 4g.

That depends on the LTE bands that the device supports. You are looking for LTE band 3, which is 1800MHz.

From what I know only the N7105 has a LTE radio built in.

The official LTE versions of the Note 2 and S3 from Hong Kong are tri-band LTE models. Running LTE bands 900mhz 1800mhz and 2600 mhz. So as long as your carrier has LTE in any of those bands it will work. The iphone 5 is only 1800mhz. I am currently using 4G on 1800 and 2600mhz as my carrier runs both bands.

Is it possible to buy an AT&T Galaxy S4 and flash a T-Mobile Radio onto it to get 4G? (Anything but EDGE)

That's not really what he's looking for...
OP the only way to get 4g with T-Mobile on a non T-Mobile branded device is if you are in the 1900MHz 4g spectrum. T-Mobile uses 1700MHz for their high speed data. A couple areas may have 1900MHz spectrum but most are 1700MHz. I've been testing my areas out and every area I've been has the 1700MHz frequency. I was thinking of getting the s4 active from att and using it on my T-Mobile phone. But not anymore lol

Yes air! However I don't think the att variant of the s4 has the frequencies for aws. I'd have to look it up on GSMarena.com

That guide is supposed to enable aws. I assumed the ATT had the correct frequencies but they were disabled.

Acording to GMSArena the ATT S4 does not support 1700MHz frequency. And they go off of what the hardware is capable of, not what carrier/samsung says.. I would like to see a *#2263# WCDMA screenshot of one of the ATT S4s whos gone and done that mod/patch.
Im not saying its not possible, im just very skeptical of it is all. Which is why i kept my T-Mobile S4
There are a few for sale on ebay, but I want to be sure they will function properly with AT&T service in the USA.
LTE bands are not compatible... it should however work with 3G

Thanks. I guess I better opt for a different tablet. Boo
Are there any custom roms that address the issue?
Couldn't find this anywhere in this forum. Will the international Note 4 have an LTE signal in USA on ATT?
Nobody?
