And when I change a charge, it charge sometimes fast and sometimes slowly, but after a day, it return a normal (drain while charge).
And my battery drain very fast without charger.
And regardless sometimes after restart it show a massage: sim not detected. Until I take out the battery and return it, turn on and then restart.
And I change ROMs and battery's and all.
Help

Maybe your battery is failing. How old is it?
Have you tried different chargers?

Hi,
I am having problem in charging, when I plugged the charger in the light come on and the screen shows the battery charging, after charging hours and hours the battery shows only 2 bars like 50 %. I also tried by changing the battery and charger as well and also I flash the device but still the result is same.
Any suggestions
Thanks
Hi,
Consider trying to leave it charging for at least an entire night. I've had some experience in e.g. my Artemis thinking the battery was fully charged while it wasn't. Especially with non-official batteries with more mAh the device has to learn when a battery if fully or partially charge. One or two full charge/discharge cycles do wonders here as long as you don't do a hardreset.
Grtzzz Roel..
Anyone have any ideas why my phone refuses to charge my battery correctly and the wall charger that came with my two spare batteries does a much better job? If I charge my battery through the phones usb I get maybe 5 hours of use but when I use the charger that came with my 2 cheap spare batteries I'll get 8 to ten no matter which battery I use.
Here is my opinion on the situation.

basically it is charging your battery correctly. The problem you are likly having are
1) your battery stats is off and you ahvent recalibrated it so the phone is stopping the charge early
2) you leave the phone plugged in for long periods of time because the phone does not use a trickle charge process it does nto stay at 100% and can acctually be anywhere from 90-100% charged even though the light is green
the reason there is no trickle charge is to try to prolong the life of the battery. the battery stats is to try and help the phone gauge when to shut the phone off and when to stop charging so it doesnt completly drain the battery or over charge it. both have benefits and draw backs.
try recalibrating your battery so that the phone has a better understanding of the acctual life (you may charge the battery fully in the wall charger then put it in the phone wipe battery stats in recovery and the let it drains till the phone shuts off. recharge it fully and go on your way.
the no trickle not a lot you can really do about that.
Guess that makes sense. So you think I should get a full charge from my wall charger then wipe battery stats from my recovery then let it drain 100 % then full charge it and it should recalibrate it?
And thank you for the help.
Hey XDA, I just purchased a new AT&T SGS3 and I'm having some issues with the battery on the phone.
When I charge the phone overnight it charges to 100% then when I unplug it, the battery drops tremendously in about 5 seconds down to anywhere from 50%-75%. I tried manually recalibrating the battery by charging it 8+ hours, removing the battery, charging again while off, charging it again while on, then restarting. That seemed to work for one charge and the battery acted the way that it would have on my Nexus S.
However charging it again after a full battery drain, the same thing happened.
Also when the phone is low on battery, it displays the normal battery messages, but then the screen stays on, draining the battery faster.
Solutions? I want the root the phone, but only after I have these issues sorted out. (I'm still under warranty right now)

Did you try a reset of the phone through the settings ? After that try charging to 100% then drain completely and then recharging without break then use the phone mormally and try to recharge only when it hits 10% remaining for the next 2 or 3 charge cycles and see if that helps

Looks like a bad device. I would send it in if i were you.
I got a second battery off ebay for emergency situations. It's advertised as OEM. While the phone is plugged in it charges up to 88% then starts bleeding charge. Unplug and replug makes it charge again. Bad battery right?

I got a new battery from eBay just the other day too, and the first time I used it, it didn't seem to charge properly at all. I left it in the phone and drained it down to 1%, then charged it again. This charge seemed to take forever, but after it was at 100%, all seemed fine. Now it charges at normal speed again, and doesn't seem to drain any faster than my stock battery. Hopefully this works for you too
When I disconnect my phone from the charger it drops from 100% to 95% in about 15 minutes without using it.
From then on it stops and battery drain is normal.
Any ideas?
Try calibrating the battery. Deplete battery to zero let the phone turn off by itself then connect the charger while your phone is switched off. Unplug when fully charged (100%)
