Hi guys. Sorry if my English is not good. I would like to recommend an app I came across.
Basically it's an app that can allow you send SMS to any contact on your Android phone's Google Contacts via your Chrome browser. There's even an extension for chrome to do that.
Meanwhile, that's not the only thing it can do. You can receive SMS via Google Talk and reply the SMS to the last person who sent you the message. The app requires Android 2.2 and above as it makes use of Google's C2DM.
I'm sorry, I do not have enough posts to attach links here. But do search for (Push Contacts) on the Android Market and give it a try. It's only 81kB in size!
For your reference, the developer's name is Ngo Minh Nam.
enjoy!
Thanks. Very Nice.

None of this is really my work I only share the dev work here
what about yahoo mail and yahoo messenger?
Starting today, the new version of Hangout has notification reply, which was basically the main reason I was still using the stock SMS app.
Now that they both have it, has anyone got any experience to share between the 2 apps as for battery consumption and bugs?
I'll be trying Hangout myself and report if anyone is interested.
Thanks!
Maybe abandon the stock sms app is not a good idea, there are rumors that Google is considering to remove the sms integration from the Hangouts: http://www.engadget.com/2016/01/27/google-hangouts-android-quick-reply-update/
Thanks for the link.
I can't figure what Google is thinking with their constant shuffling of Hangout / SMS / GTalk / G+ / whatnot...
Just bundle it all together and call it a day!!!

Any manual,
I want to type something.
Say.....
This is a great App? :good:
Not sure how to do this,
I go to the wedge that has a "t", now if the word list shows "This" I select it ? Not sure how to pick the word.
If "this" is not detected, enter a "h"
Seems like all words testing it come out capitalized first letter, want one the first word capitalized.
Sure playing I will figure it out but a manual be nice.

I agree. I'm also trying to figure out how to get they keyboard active within the apps, Hangouts in particular. I can get the practice mode up, but that's it.

+1 this is important for my Hangouts & others! Could it be enabled as the default IME?
If you read the OP, native apps do not have keyboard support. You have to use a 3rd party app that supports the input IME. The Apps are listed in the OP to substitute for Hangouts and GMail.

Thanks, I didn't find that to be very clear. I've uninstalled it as it actually killed my battery.
Works Best With Whatsapp, Android messenger, Google Voice , Textra .
