Changing the keyboard click volume on Gboard - Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7 (2017) Questions & Answe

I picked up a Galaxy A3 320FL last week and have been pleasantly surprised. There is just one annoyance - I like to use GBoard/Google keyboard. On previous devices I was able to enable the keyboard click noise and reduce the volume.
Not enough to annoy anyone else but just loud enough for me to hear.
With the A3, I can enable the keyboard click noise but the volume will not change from LOUD. I can set to default or any other value and the volume stays the same.
Has anyone else found the same problem? And have you found a solution?

I got the same issue with the vibration, any other value than default result to a non vibration. I guess these settings are not compatible with our phone.

[Q] Low volume on left earbud

On the left earbud I almost can't hear a thing, it's not mute, just very low volume. And the right one works fine. I tested on different roms and can assure it's not related to that. Anyone knows if there's a software solution for this?

Thanks! It was already unchecked... It was nice to find the equalizer though. I still almost can't hear from the left earbud.

Microphone issues

Hi everybody, I noticed that my microphone during video, calls, audio calls in WhatsApp or everything else is too low. But seems that this behaviour is due from noise reduction. Anybody has noticed the same ? Is it possible to disable the noise reduction?
Thanks

Yes, I have. But I enabled the voice over LTE (volte) option under settings > cellular networks and I believe that's helped. Do you have that option too?
Mic not working over Bluetooth with skype. Can anyone else confirm that? Both my jaybird X and my Merc BT audio systems are not sending audio during a call;
I had this problem while using Viber and recording voice msg. Than it came to my attention that my right hand small finger was covering the mic. Just had it next to connected cable (charging). LOL back

Call volume regulation playing audio messages in whatsapp/telegram/etc.

Hello to all,
I have a problem with the call volume setting when listening whatsapp and telegram vocal messages. If I try to change the volume during a phone call I do not have any problem, while listening voice messages in whatsapp and telegram, the volume is not adjustable ... if I change the volume nothing happens. If I try to make a voice call with whatsapp the call volume is properly adjustable. Does anyone find this problem? Any solution or suggestion to solve?
I have the same issue and I had it on a G6 updated to Oreo too. The only workaround I found is dial a number and change in calls volume everytime. It's pretty annoying but I don't know any other method... I don't know if it's something LG has to solve or if it's a problem of the apps not properly working with LG's Oreo.

It's a workaround: while listening with the ear next to proximity sensor (or using hand to cover it) push the power on/off button and activate the screen, then volume works again. It's a pain.

But voice notes does'nt seem to work, guitar tuna and some 3rd party voice recorder doesnt work either. CIT mic test also felt janky. Any suggestions?

Adjust mixer_path.xml to increase call volume

Hello everyone,
I'm on Stock Rom with Magisk and tried to adjust the RX7-Line in all the mixer_path.xml files that can be found in /vendor/etc. The RX7-part is the setting for the maximal call volume. The standard value is 84 and I tried to change it to 93 but after an reboot the file is back to the original without the saved settings.
I can hardly unterstand my active phone calls because the volume is to weak and this worked for me on all my previous devices.
Someone got a clue?

I think you may have a faulty device. In my case, stock android, no modifications - when in call, cranked up to max, the upper part of the phone literally vibrates like a loudspeaker, and the other person is clear and loud as hell. Do some hardware tests first and return your device if that's the case.
Mine's also quite low...
I have a Magisk Module for this:
