Hey I'm wondering is there anyway to get the lockscreen puzzle pieces for unread sms etc to work with Handcent or another sms application?
I love the puzzle pieces but I prefer handcent over the messages app.

Good question. Was just wondering the same after updating today. Hope someone can help.

I'm currently using GingerVillain 2.7 for a while now and I have one minor question.
It would be great if I could see some sort of notification on the lockscreen that I had missed calls/unread messages and not just in the notification bar. You know, something small like "1missed call".
Is it possible to realize it or not really?

Not on the default lockscreen - but with WidgetLocker, yes.
You can use notification widgets on that app.
Been playing with this today. Fairly nice rendition of the ICS launcher with bits and pieces modified to make it work with older version of Android.

I love it works great since it hit the market after turning off animations. I run underclocked at 800mhz too and have no issue. but I guess maybe I'm doing it wrong by not having the animations. either way once they work out the bling speed ill be enabling it.
my default launcher on tw and cm7.

Notifications do not work using Holo Launcher Plus
Can someone help me?
I am using Holo Launcher Plus with Holo Notifier and my "Unread Count" notifications only works for text messages (SMS).
My Samsung Epic 4G does not display nofications for Gmail, Yahoo email, Outlook email, or even phone calls.
I checked my Holo Notifier settings and enabled (checked) each option and selected the corrersponding apps (Phone app, Gmail app, etc.). Only my SMS text messages display a notification in Holo Launcher Plus.
My phone is the Samsung Epic 4G running Android 2.3.6 (GB).

Hey everyone
So yesterday I flashed CM9 on my One V (great rom). But i noticed it doesn't has unread counts build-in? I pretty much searched everywhere, on the xda forums, google... Then I came across sms unread count app or something but that is a widget and my messages app is in the dock So is there a plugin for this?

After posting my question in the thread for the rom I am on and not getting an answer I decided to try here...
I have latest version of JellyBomb Domination 7.0. Amazing rom - kudos to Josh Beach and others who helped make such a great rom.
I use Go Launcher.;
I am trying to install the voicemail widget to my home screen which displays the count of the unread voicemails. If I just create a shortcut to the voicemail app it will not display the count so it has to be a widget. Once you have the widget, you just configure GO Launcher Ex. Notification to display th count,
I reinstalled the latest version of visual voicemail. I also looked in add back zips for the rom. Nothing.
Any help would be appreciated
