And there likely might not be a lot of options in this area. With the G5s Plus coming out, the G5 Plus is now "old news."
I did find this one, but it's something I might take camping rather than to the office. Plus, all the images are iPhones, which doesn't give me much confidence that it's actually functional for my device.

I wouldn't even call that a case. At least not in the sense of how we talk about phone cases. You're better off using this.

Water can still damage fingerprint sensor, also the device is already water resistant not waterproof,
so if you want a Waterproof cover try a transparent condom
Touch wont work as expected but hey you got a waterproof case.
Thank me later for this disgusting idea.

I'm surprised that our 4" SAMOLED phone doesn't have this option.... or a case with a kickstand. I'd love one for the sheer fact that I can view media and have it as a clock by my bedside.

You stole that idea from my mind! I would rather see two small feet at one side of the case then the large feet.

I like it, how many different angles are there for viewing?
You could always find a really small hinge, a spare battery door and a straight thin piece of metal with teeth/notches that lock it in place when it's open or closed and make a prototype. And then sell it to Samsung

I think that it is a great idea, but I am hesitant to think that Samsung would use it for the Captivate. They may use it for the newer phones though.
if this happens i expect to see another patent war between HTC and Samsung.
If only those aftermarket creative directors would just sneak into these forums, I would buy one for sure. My arm gets pretty tired sometimes when lying in bed.

Not a bad idea if you're in a boat a lot (specifically a speed boat or other boat where you get a lot of spray). That said, it has very limited practical uses. These "cases" have been around for quite a while, though, with the various phones.

They are much thicker than a zippy. REI sells them as well as other outdoor retailers. To market this for any specific phone and mark it up is a **** move.

I think you're onto something!
look into pelican cases. those things are solid. water proof and crush proof. i think you would have to take your phone out of the case to use it, but other than that, the cases work great.

I bought one of these a while back. It works great except for if you leave your phone in it for a while, the case will ad hear itself to the screen protector if you have one and pull it off when you take it out of the case. Other then that I think it's a good investment if you're out on the water a lot. I can use my phone in the case as well.

and they seem to have two sizes for the base 2.1mm and 2.7mm 2.1 would just be big enough and 2.7 is plenty big enough, but I am guessing that the ones in the first add would be 2.1 or 2.7 at the base... I really do not know.

Has anybody found a waterproof case for the One yet? I'm looking for something similar to LifeProof for the iPhone or Otterbox's Armor series. It doesn't need extraordinary depth protection, just a few feet for use in the pool.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I posted this before somewhere and I got laughed at just because I wanted to reddit in the shower. Made the Z so tempting but it's not coming out in the US so it made my One decision easier. Haha.
I just read into it a little but how does that HzO stuff work. The way it seems is it just puts a waterproof bond in every crease and crack. But that would ruin the speaker/grille as well as mess up the buttons so I'm sure that's not how it works. Anyone understand it better than I that would care to explain?

Liquipel has services for all phones currently. I saw them at the CES show and they have proven their technology. Google them and they have videos showing you the process.

According to their website, this is not true. I was all excited there for a minute. My NS4G spent a night in a cup of water once. It still works just fine but I can't help but think I used any and all good phone karma right then and there.

I love to use very minimalistic cases that don't add much bulk to the phone. Mainly want one for protecting the corners of the phone if it is dropped. My preference is a bumper frame that does not have a back to it. I used to have one from Motorola for my Moto X but I cannot seem to find any for the V20. Anyone had any luck finding any yet?

I actually already emailed them and asked them if they would be making one. They said no. Their cases seem like they offer so much protection with almost no case at all. But yes please email them. Hopefully if they see there is demand they will offer one.

Nillkin made a nice one for several phones a couple years ago,but,it seems they've dropped that item from their line-up on newer phones.
I have zero interest in the POS aluminum ones that litter e-Bay,I'm sure you've seen 'em.
I've tried 'em out (on past phones) & for the most part,they're just downright awful.

Yeah I'm still holding out hope! I just think the phone looks great and I hate hiding my phones in cases where you can't even see them. They also tend to add some bulk (depending on what you go with). Hopefully someone will step up to the plate and make one. Yep pretty much the same response I got. The search continues.
LG makes a bumper for the V10, i'm sure they will have them for the V20.
Anyway I will be in china next week, I ll see what I can pick up, i'm sure aluminum bumper are available, but I prefer more protection.

Interesting. I wasn't aware they made one for the V10. Sure hope you're right and they produce one. Someone has to step up and produce one I'm sure. With the demise of the Note7, this phone is becoming a lot more popular than people expected I believe and I think someone will hop on board and produce one.

I had the OEM LG V10 Bumper, & as with most other current LG devices, OEM accessories weren't readily available to most outside of S. Korea, at least at phone launch time.
Makes no sense to me, why let the 3rd party mfgs get to market before selling your own accessories, SMH, yet, that's been LG's M.O. for as long as I can remember.....

It did look super nice on the phone and left that cool back open, but it did nothing to protect the camera which was soft, painted aluminum. I switched it for a different case. It seems like bumper cases aren't as popular now. When I had my G3, there were about 10 different manufacturers of bumpers. Really, all I want for this phone is something to protect the top and bottom and to keep the screen and camera hump raised off the surface.

How well does this protect the camera / front of screen.. i've noticed a lot of thin cases will not protect either of those areas.

well I always think about protection & this is the only company I trust
