Which base rom do you think I should be using?

You have done the port for oneplus 3

You are wasting your time trying to port what is equal to an alpha build. Not only will you not have any of the updated drivers but you also will not have a kernel to support any of the new features.
Besides ports are useless on devices like this. IT will get full support upon release. Just be patent.

i ported all the system files but kernel 3.18.112 from oreo doesn't work with P(ie)

Is there any way to have Treble on the HTC One M8 ?

I'm actually using an HTC One M8 with Android 8.1 Oreo thanks to CrDroid ROM and the project Treble is not enabled on it, whereas all phones with Android 8.1 preinstalled support Treble.
So my question is :
Is there any way to have Treble on the HTC One M8 (a special TWRP version, a ROM compatible with TWRP...) ?
This is my first thread, plz be nice

And it really wouldn't matter anyway if there was a way to do it. Project Treble is for streamlining OS updates so that OEMs can get them out faster, and the M8 won't be seeing any more updates.

Their is already some GSI roms and some aosp ports r available for our device as the Android Q itslef in beta stage so bugs will be more....
If ur looking to try Android Q rom search for LZY roms in our device forum.... He ported many interesting roms to our device... ???

problem is our kernel stops at 4.4 and this can be a problem (might be?)

4.9 is in the making by the great devs and kernel version doesn't matter exactly in ROMs

From now on it's 10 and above

Android 10 is being released for Pixel devices on Tuesday 3rd September.

That link has a anotatation next to our device. If you scroll down you will see that Android 11 is excluded from the One Action if sold in the united states and Canada. I'm in the US so I will need to install A custom Rom.

I saw that as well, but am hoping that maybe I will be able to flash an international rom sometime ion the future. I had an HTC M9 that started as a US phone but flashed an international ROM to it. Will see what transpires.
