I would like to know if there is any way to change the software channel of my device, it has link with operator is would like to leave it with the software channel without link
afaik, you can't change the software channel. It seems to be hardcoded into the phone itself.

I'm looking for a software that will utilize the FM radio and allow you to record the radio. This would be great for me when I go to conventions that broadcast on a dead radio station. I'd be able to get a clear recording of a speach. If anyone knows of any software or combination of software that will allow me to do that, please post links.
bought wave II s8530 a month ago and when wifi is ON the signal strength is 40-70% even i am in front of wireless router, and if i go in another room the signal is loosing or barely gets 10%. i had nokia e72 before and in front of wireless router i got 100%, and in another room like 50-80% of the signal, so its not the wireless router.
if its for help i flashed team elite 3.0 for this device, but the problem persist before i flash.
i spotted today if the bottom of the wave is showing to the router i get 95% wifi signal, if i change that position i get 40-60%(every refreshing is different value). the results are from BadaSI.
other information, GSM, GPS and BT are with no problems-no weak signal.
sw ver: s8530xxlb1 and csc ver: s8530xenlb1
please someone advice me how to solve this problem. tnx
hello
I am afraid, we have to live with this problem. almost every wave phone has this problem.
So far there is no solution to it.
if anyone knows it please let us know.
Maybe difference between bada 1.x and bada 2...
Because I have same problem...
Will investigate...
Best Regards
I know that modder psycoy, in his custom (here) made something; this is changelog:
Exclusive Patch WiFi/Data booster
But I don't know what he do!
watch to /SystemFS/Driver/ directory, here you can find hardware settings into .txt files for wlan, camera, bluetooth, speaker.. etc
i am noob with this so please tell us what to do.
i found that folder with stune, and i see these files.

Thanks, but I compared them with WinMerge and they are the same
mm... when I search for hardware settings I found them only here...
alternatively it could be replaced the wifi related .so driver file with one more performing of another firmware version (if exists)..
anyway, in case of bad wifi signal, be sure that your are assigning the correct ip address to your wave (not one assigned to other network components..) and that your network is on a low used channel..
the percentage value reported by bada API could be wrong like eg. the battery percentage (as the one read by badaSI), with my S8500 I can connect to my router (G protocol, not even N) up to 10-12 meters of distance through multiple rooms.
Other solution to improve connection speed/stability can be by tweaking the TCP/IP parameters by forcing the protocol to be more agressive but I don't know how doing this on bada..
this is the wifi drivers files
bada 1.2 and bada 2.0
Thanks guary! However there aren't .so files in psycoy lupin III CFW (I don't find them). It's so strange
IFTTT is an automation system that "puts the internet to work for you", as they claim.
It works via channels and recipes with a "if" "do" mechanism.
I asked IFTTT to create a channel for Mi Band to aumatically connect the band to other service.
Since there are other channels for other wearables, such as fitbit and jawbone, it shouldn't be a huge problem to create one for Mi Band, one of the best selling wearable in the world.
For example you could export your sleep track to a gdrive spreadsheet every morning, to keep tracks of your sleep, without even touch your phone, or receive an email when you achieve your daily goal and so on.
Possibility are virtually infinite.
The discussion about the request is in this subreddit, with a lot of IFTTT developer http://redd.it/3baq4k
If you want to support the request upvote, leave a comment, explain what you would do with IFTTT integration or whatever you want.
Than you for your time
There was an app for android, which creates a channel for IFTTT.com

Hi all,
I have a car-specific model of an Android-Car-Radio from manufacturer Klyde (MTCC-KLD6-v2.91, Android 5.1.1, Kernel [email protected] #42, Build rk3188-userdebug 22062016.17:05:11).
As far as I have read in the Wiki (under HuiFei Type) and on the forums as well as I have seen on the labeling on the Android-Car-Radio itself the Radio should be able to support a 3G-USB-Stick.
Following the link on the Wiki I discovered a list containing the Huawei E1820 as compatible, so I bought that one.
Now I have also deactivated the PIN on the 3G-Stick (stated somewhere in the forums as well) and tested the Stick on my Windows 10 Laptop (works fine there!) but doesn`t work with my Klyde Car-Radio.
I`m wondering: Do I have to do some settings (like APN, Connection Profile, etc.) on the Android Radio itself?
(Couldn`t find any similar or likewise named options in the general android settings tab of the Radio!)
Therefore I also tried the additional App linked on the Froums "diewland.settings.mobilenetworks" which opens up a (hidden) mobile connections settings tab; unfortunately all possible settings in this tab are grayed out and can not be set nor changed (most of them empty by default).
Could anyone direct me how to get 3G working on the Android Radio? Any further suggestions?
Best regards,
Patrick
I am having a similar problem. Did you ever find a solution?

When the modem is plugged in, do you have the signal icon on the status bar? If not, then the unit is not recognizing your 3G stick. Try changing the USB port.
There was a known issue with iphone to android unit hot spot connections. But, Apple said that is fixed.
I power up the unit and most of the time the iphone will show that there is a a connection to my iphone's hotspot. So, the iphone shows that the Dasaita head unit is connected. BUT, the head unit says that it is NOT connected to any SSID. I go to youtube and banner at the bottom says "no connection" but, I am able to browse youtube. I checked other apps and some work and some do not.
The iphone hotspot does not show up in the list of wireless networks. I turn the hotspot off and on several times over the course a min or two. Then the SSID shows up and I connect. Then go back to the apps and sometimes the connection drops and I have to start over.
I installed a better antenna and it is right next to the iphone. The connection show excellent when it is connected. But, the above problem remains.
I have search posts for weeks on this one. No luck. Is there a fix?
I updated to MTCE_HA_V3.60.zip and it appears to have fix the issue.
Here is the email I got from Dasaita
Here is the MCU update link: 3.60 https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/x23xmc Please download then ONLY put IMG file to the usb (format the usb firstly). Finally click the setting > system > > MCU update to update it. (If you can not download the file, please change the Explorer or computer to do it) Hope the software update can help you fix the issue. If not, please email me again.

*****Take a MCU config backup/Export MCU configuration before any MCU change or Update. *****
The regulars here might be a little over posts such as incorrect screen resolution, touch screen not responding and general MCU screw ups
Spoke too soon. Problem still there.
Did you ever sort it ? A friend of mine has a KGL unit with an MD725 wifi/BT module and it connects to my Android phone fine, but his iphone 8 shows up and connects, but most of the time after about 1 and a half minutes it disconnects, occasionally it connects for longer but rarely. I have other friends/family members with both older and newer iphones and MCTD/E units none have this problem with their units.
