I downloaded Facer on my phone. And my Moto 360 v2. But whenever I open the Facer app on my iPhone. It won’t sync to my watch. Watchmaker works perfectly though

So I just upgraded my phone to the HTC One A9 that is running Marshmallow. I also recently bought a Moto 360 V1. It updated fine without me having to force it. However, I don't have GMail nor GroupMe on my Moto 360 and my Google Hangout app won't even load. I went into Android Wear app and even tried the older version other people have suggested. I even did the resync apps on there with no success. I'm wondering if it's Marshmallow that's doing this or am I just oblivious and noob-like. My experience is that I've rooted every android I've had with ease.
I'm not aware that GMail installs an app on an Android Wear watch, it uses Wear-enabled notifications (to allow for replying from the watch). If Hangouts has not been updated on the phone since pairing the 360, Hangouts may not have installed the Android Wear component. Perhaps uninstalling updates from Hangouts and then reinstalling them will trigger the Android Wear component install. I'm not familiar with GroupMe.

I think you're right. Only certain apps are actually on the watch itself. It appears that most things are only notified. I have found 3rd party apps that you can scroll through things like twitter and gmail. I uninstalled and reinstalled Hangouts with no luck. I guess I'll have to just do without. Working well so far though. Guess I can't fully replace my phone with the watch, but I'm loving it.
Yeah, like sfringer said, Gmail doesn't have an Android Wear specific app. You'll only get new message notifications from Google Now. If you think some apps haven't synced to the watch correctly you can open the Android Wear app on your phone, navigate to the settings menu for the Moto 360 and select "Resync Apps" to resync all available Android Wear apps to your Moto
i just got a new phone. Downloaded facer and watchmaker and neither have all the watch faces i created on my old phone. Does anyone know how i can find and transfer all my faces from the old phone to the new phone?
I have been using my Moto 360 sport for some time. I recently switched phones and I am now using Samsung S7. No matter what I try, Google Fit does not show up on my watch, not as an app nor as watch faces.
I have tried to reset the watch, and after setting it up again, everything is ok, except Google Fit, which is missing.
I have tried to delete the app from my phone and installing it again, but it does not help. I have tried, inside the Android Wear app, to sync all apps again, but it still does not sync to the watch.
What can I try now?
Download an older apk for fit from apkmirror (version 1.59) and install. Resync all apps, fit should show on your watch now. Later on update the app to the latest version using Google play store.
Hi everyone. Firstly I didn't find any topic about Apple Watches, It could be just because this site is interested with android. I'm from Turkey, the prices of the smartwatches are too much money. I have been thinking to buy a smart watch for 3 months. But I can't decide which one is worth to buy. I have an Iphone 6s Plus so that Apple Watch may be appropriate. On the other hand, Huawei Watch has great design which is suitable with a lots of clock faces. Sometimes I think of Garmin Fenix 3, Its obvious that fenix 3 is ageless, has e ink screen like kindle paper white and has much more accurate gps built in as well as sports features. I am pendulate, can you help me guys?
I was also having this debate with myself. I decided to go Huawei. I also have a iPhone (7+). I knew I would lose some functions with pairing it to my iPhone but the look of the watch was key to me. Also, with Android Wear 2.0, the stand alone play store app on the watch is huge. I get all my notifications. Can't reply to SMS though or make calls. Can reply to emails if using gmail.

Thanks a lot. Did you say that It couldn't make call, Its ok but Can It reply the calls? Could I reply phone calls with Huawei when I listen music with earphones?
I look whole faces on Watch software which is in Iphones, there are not too much faces. How do you download faces your smartwatch, via android wear? Has it very much faces in it?
Thanks a lot.
Can't make or reply to calls. The notification does show on the watch, the only thing i'm allowed to do is decline the call. I'm running the latest beta of Android Wear 2.0 so I'm able to download faces from the Play store. There are a lot of faces to choose from also in the themes section, you can sideload other faces. One thing I found out yesterday was that I can play my google music through the watch. Of course I had to be connected to wifi, but the music played through the watches speaker without the need of the phone.

Again and again thanks a lot.
So what do you think about Garmin Fenix 3?

I connect my watch with the new Pixel watch apk but cannot sync my wear apps installed on my phone. The connection to the wear os app dont work. Can I dont use them together? Or how to sync the apps like in the past with the new app?

If you are trying to sync a watch other than the Pixel Watch to the Watch App, you might want to hold off until further updates to the Watch app hit the wire.
I connect Pixel watch to the new apk. The old wear os can sync the apks automatic to the watch. From the new one I can only open the playstore and press the installation for the watch.
