[Guide] Lenovo Vibe Z (K910) - Stock Firmware & Upgrade to VibeUI 1.5 (4.4.x) /w Root
I was having trouble rooting or installing CWM after upgrading to VibeUI/VibeROM 1.5 on my Lenovo K910 and after searching the chinese forums it appears that the bootloader becomes locked and there is no way to unlock it or install CWM recovery.
Finally found a method to upgrade to viberom 1.5 while maintaining root and able to install CWM recovery & gapps.

Download this and follow the steps. There is a text file which contains links to stock firmware and vibeui1.5 update as they were too large to include in this package itself.
sorry for the short intro but i hope the package is self explanatory once you unzip/unrar it.

Any other feedback on this semi-guide? How does this KitKat update run on the phone? Still littered with Chinese deep in the rom?

Worked like charm on my Vibe UI 1.5

i have not yet root k910, can i also use this method?
btw, VIBEUI_V1.5_1420_4_ST_K910_NK_W_E2D0.zip link is dead.

Any alternative for my phone even thought no famous Custom ROM is supported by it!!!?

I have a Lenovo Vibe p1 and I found out that there is no Custom ROM available for my phone.
Its not that my phone is worthless.....My phone is Marshmallow with 1.5 GHZ processor......
Is there anything I can do?
Even cyanogen mod doesn't support my phone!
