I can't get the Barclays mobile banking app working.

Installation works without any issue, but on startup it crashes. This issue is mentioned in forums for other devices like Huawei mate 9
Who has a suggestion for a fix?
I've used their app for years but only since the 7.1.1 upgrade to my moto Z Play has it stopped working. From the Play Store reviews it looks like every other Moto Z owner on 7.1.1 has the same issue so hoping Barclays fix it soon and roll out an update for the app.
One month later and Barclays' apps: Barclays Mobile Banking, Barclaycard, and Pingit, still don't work on Moto Z² Play, apparently also Moto G5 is affected...

This morning I noticed Pingit is updated. Don't get excited. Barclays did not fix the issue with their apps on Moto Z2 Play.
I did notice though that in Google Play Store, Barclays did respond to some comments on their Pingit app. (on Barclays Mobile Banking or Barclaycard i did not see any response). The response was: please contact us on Facebook or Twitter.
So . . . I have just raised the case again via their Social Media. Hopefully some day Barclays realises all Moto Z and Moto Z2 users are affected.....

After using android phones and tablets for over 5 years starting from droid1 to one m8,
I actually wanted to know why people use iphone so I bought that about 5 months ago.
Couple days ago, Google released Android wear app for the ios devices.
I was able to get phone app, message app, gmail app, 3rd party messenger apps, and 3rd party music apps working.
Does anyone else use moto 360 with ios? If so, what other apps can be used?
Another nice question here, really i want to learn that too.I have just got a Moto 360 and i want to use it with full productivity.

The problem im facing here is that i got this phone.. Downloaded and installed the Google Play Store & all, so i have th eplay store working. all things are going smooth except for the Facebook app..
On the Amazon App Store.. It says, "Currently Unavailable" and when I installed it through Google Play Store, It crashes.
almost every app that has a "login through faceook" is crashing as soon as tap it (The facebook Connet / Login bubble)
however the Facebook Lite app and Messenger work fine.. The other app like "moments" or direct facebook app plugins are crashing.
I am rooted and running the latest Fire OS. 4.6.6
Any ideas?

Facebook broke on FireOS around V61. The version on the Amazon App Store is very old (like V48 or something) but does work, just not with the new reactions. Download an earlier version and you should be fine.

ya i guess.. earlier version of facebook and NOW with the addition of the messenger too, the messenger app now is behaving the same way.. Did some research.. its due to Amazon App Store and Google Play Store Conflict. Lets see if someone resolve it in one o these days

I'd be really interested to hear the experiences of those running the Matepad Pro out of the box without a 'hacked' version of the Google play store running.
Being Google free (ok, almost Google Free) isn't a bad idea in principle - as long as I'm not totally hamstringed by the alternative. Given I've other devices running the full compliment of Google services it may not be a deal breaker.
Plus I'm mainly interested in purchasing it for the M-Pen functionality - I can't afford the more expensive devices that come with a pen - I've had a Samsung S3 + S-Pen and it didn't particularly impress me anyway!
I do have a Huawei M5 and have installed the Huawei app store to get an idea of what to expect - plus I'll do my due diligence but it would still be really useful to hear from someone who uses it without any hacks to get Google working fully.
I have the Matepad Pro WiFi now from July and I think it is outstanding allowing the fact it does not have Google services. I tried all the hacks to date to install them with no success so settled for VMOS virtual machine and find it allows me to use the Google apps I need/use with no problems.
Other than Google I am running Amazon, Netflix, BBC iPlayer, Twitter, Disney and a lot of other apps natively.
