Not long after buying my S8 Plus almost three weeks ago I remembered this interesting-looking stylus I saw on a review on this phone from Pocketnow. Juan Carlos did the review and he was using this stylus:

I thought about this stylus because coming from the Note 5 I was feeling a little S-Pen withdraw and thought this stylus he was using might be a good way to interact with my S8 Plus similar to my S-Pen because of its fine point. They're pretty similar in appearance and from what I can see in the video the responsiveness was fairly quick.
Awesome. So I scan the entire comment section of the video and notice about 20 people asking Juan Carlos what stylus he was using and all but one actually got a reply from him and it wasn't even the answer it was just him making a silly joke about using Bixby Vision.
Dude's being super coy about giving us the answer for some strange reason. I tried to send him a tweet but I got nothing. What's up with folks who do this kind of thing? Why? Why not just share a link to where we can buy it or just tell us the name so we can go look? So strange.
If anyone here can identify what the exact stylus he was using in the video I would really appreciate the help. Minute mark 4:19. Thanks!

svetius: "jump to your device" -- shouldn't this go above the dropdown so no rollover
Hey I cannot quarrel with the man who brought Youtube embeds within 48 hours or initial request... (btw, am I the only one using it? ... wait, let me answer that: yes. But I like it, so thank you !)
That pair of "quick navigation to your phone" tools at top right has been really great. It's just that enroute to using the text box to type in "desire" I almost always rollover the dropdown which causes an obstruction to my desired objective.
You probably wrestled with this and have reasons for the way you did it. But just in the event you were really really smashed that night and really had no rationale whatsoever and just flipped a coin, are you open to trying to flip the two...
Another unsolicited usability comment in the spirit of improvement. The xda favicon is such a welcome change from the boring vBulletin v, but I find it hard to read.
Did you ever come across how they went about remaking the YouTube favicon to improve its readability? It sounded very esoteric by god it did the job... A reader submitted it -- and YouTube took her up on it, and adopted it:

About the drop down...in the forum redesign we're working on, you must click the drop down to get it to open.
About the fav icon...feel free to make one that is better than the current. All of us are quite pleased by the new icon. It's not perfect, but making a legible 16x16 graphic is very difficult.
Anyone with the Evo can verify if it has a lanyard loop? Thanks in advance!
Reason I'm asking they have wii lanyards for cheap on ebay. That added protection of sliding it tight on my wrist is good!
hmmmmmmm........ really? No response yet? I'm suprised
I read in another forum that the Evo does NOT have a lanyard loop. I do not have an Evo yet so I can't confirm.
Just checked mine and it doesn't have one.

That just speaks FAIL!
Checked mine. No lanyard loop. Maybe there will be hope in a future custom case.

yeah wouldn't trust that at all. they don''t seem to want to make htc phones with lanyard loops no more. windows did, but most androids no. there's nothing like having my phone safely around my wrist. The wii lanyards now have a nice lock like mechanism on it, and that would be perfect to keep phone secure why none?
I guess it's just not a feature that's in high demand. Oh well, some things, like infrared, just aren't a part of the modern smartphone anymore.

I use a Leaf inside my apartment complex and it works well for me. Is there anyway to weld or hammer to the Galaxy Nexus with the Leaf/Leaf Pro? I'd really like to watch and record DHDTV anywhere.
(Alright, full disclosure, this post was purely motivated by March Madness. It's a sickness.)
Got a couple PM's suggesting the APP itself. That's cool and all but last year it was free. This year it's $3.99.

I must not be comprehending this right.. You want to weld that thing up there on top of the tv that looks like a computer monitor to your GN!?
And if that is really the case.. That is better than paying $3.99/mo?
I mean.. I know the economy is **** right now.. but..
Please tell me I am completely misunderstanding this idea!!
And for Basketball? I mean there is nothing wrong with basket ball but if I am going to deface my Nexus it better be for something good. **** tell me the purpose of this is to catch the season finale of The Walking Dead next weekend and I will fire up the blow torch on my end! lol. Just poking at you having some fun. But for real, please dont do this. Everybody around me is already on their phones enough as it is I cant handle seeing them with iPad sized bunny ears attached.
Well posted, sir. Gave me a good laugh. I can just see it: Mom? What's that strange man doing in our yard?. LOL!
It would be awesome though. Connect the Leaf via USB and be able to pull, watch and record live TV? Size issues aside how cool is that?

This is a spare time project using my skills in both tech and traditional watches. The case is from a $5-6 dollar (bulk), or $20 (retail), water resistant watch that well exceeds IP67. Even though the case is bigger than the 360 it wears much smaller than the 360 (which looks like an obese Braun BN0024 gone bad). For those that must know, the case pictured is a copy of the Panerai Radiomir, one of the most recognized and respected watches in the world.
I will post more as the project moves along. Right now getting the 360's case to let go of the display is the biggest issue.

The wireless charging could be a challenge.

An exhibition back fixes that, but will most likely not be done at this stage. There is a much nicer Parnis case that has such a back, but I'm doing this on a minimal budget right now.

Very Cool!!! Is it possible to do one that mimics a chronograph by including the bezel? Something like the Breitling Super Avenger would be really cool!!!
Here goes a pic of my HW on a 'double tour' bracelet and with the always on speeds watch face. Oh an it's connected to an iPhone.

okay.
what is the easiest way to change watch faces if you are using an iphone? just got this watch yesterday and signing packages and sideloading seems like a pain
Hmm we are the black swans on this . I don't know other way to upload watch faces and apps . I connect the watch to the mac through ADB and sideload stuff into it.
It is not so difficult as it seems as long as you keep things organised.
The only problems i found is that if the WF needs the android wear on the phone to costumize it you just can't do it, you will end up only with a default version and another thing is that you can't get info from the phone to the watch face like the iPhone battery status or the weather. I'm still looking for a way to do this but i just can't find it.
Cheers and sorry for my bad english, hope you understood what i tried to say.
Not sure... WatchMaker for Android is great !!
