Hi,
I've installed Lineage OS on LeEco Le 2 (S2 / x520), and I noticed some issues with the camera:
1- when using the zooming function, the video camera application crashes as soon as you start recording
2- when using the video camera, after 50/60 seconds of recording, the image starts to be jerky, like if it couldn't save all the incoming data in time to the storage disk. When looking at the movie afterwards, it's the same: many frames are missing.
Do you have the same experience? any suggestion to fix that?

Lets check other handsets from Samsung for support Android Port:
Modem part = Calls/SMS, etc.
SHW-M130K (confirmed)
Samsung I5801 Apollo or Galaxy 3 (not confirmed/checked by me)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14927492&postcount=1086
Maybe there are "few" more... as we know Samsung.
Please search and post.
Thanx in advance
Best Regards
Maybe also the Samsung i5510 uses the same call processor as I've seen from one site.

Good call adfree .
I'm trying to get some info from the Galaxy 3 community on XDA. They appear to have a good group of android wizards who might (if luck is with us) be able to give us some info. or more hopefully a hand with this..
the samsung galaxy k has the same call processor and runs android 2.2
thats the M130K that adfree mentioned although if anyone can point us to some good forums for that device that'd be good I've found a couple of threads in the XDA Galaxy S area... That said, do any of the wizards over there know about the project here ?
QSC6270 have SHW-M130K (korean), GT-I5800 (eur), SCH-I909 (china), SCH-W899 (china)
and our GT-S8500(8530).
document
i have a data sheet and pdf document of this call processor but can not upload it cos its 658 Kb
if its helpful to you i can upload it on file server!

It seems we are lesser souls when it comes to samsung handsets ... What else can we do to help .. I've already tried to reach out to the admins over at http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=861 so far no response... Would a modem.bin file be of use to you ?
Dug out a deodexed rom from their forum ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1141134
Meanwhile any other Samsung handsets found?

My stock Moto G (2015) had the capability to select short or long DTMF tones. Maybe I am just missing it in Settings, but I can't find it in Lineage anywhere. I need this because I have an Interactive Voice Response system that is not recognizing my key-presses and just hangs up on me; other IVR systems work fine. I have to use my friends Samsung stock Android to make selections during a call in the meantime. Someone elsewhere suggested long pressing keys, but that didn't work either.

I already did that. I wasn't sure who would be responsible for adding such a feature or telling me where it is located, the main Lineage folks or the developer of my hardware, so I posted here as well.
It sounds like the DTMF tone length is exposed or hidden based on the contents of android_frameworks_base. Source: http://www.droidforums.net/threads/dtmf-tone-length.154484/#post-1600209http://
Short of building LineageOS myself, is there a fix for this problem?

See if you can locate it by the following...
Open your Dialer -> Settings -> Sounds and vibration -> Dialpad tone length (which is the DTMF options for Normal & Long tones).
Some devices have slightly different names/labels for them but, that's where you should be able to locate them.
Good Luck!

Sadly there is no such option or anything similar. I know the Stock ROM for my phone (G900V) does have it. Is it the case that for some devices, LineageOS exposes this option, while for others it does not?
As I mentioned above, it looks like exposing or hiding this option is in android_frameworks_base. Is there any way to request that this option be added back in to LineageOS?
Other than that, I guess I would just have to download other ROMs until I happened to find one that has that option exposed?

Thanks, I had tried the dialing code, it doesn't work on my phone. Calling the carrier was also ineffective.
I've reverted to Stock ROM to get that "DTMF duration" feature back. It's a real shame, I love LineageOS, but at the end of the day if I can't make phone calls it's not usable for me.
Is there anything that can be done to encourage the return of this menu option in LineageOS?

Unfortunately they have already stated that they don't do device and feature requests.
I'm sure that someone (Unofficially) is probably looking into developing some type of way in adding this feature.
Where there's enough of a Will and a Demand for something there's somebody who looks to make it happen.
Good Luck!

Hi,
I have just went from my own phone to my sons.
Have the latest lineage installed and vendor img.
It lets me control the volume when i cast for 1 second then it changes to control only phone volume.
It worked on my last phone (both where nexus 5x).
Does anyone have a tip to give me to get it working again?
Thanks in advance!

In LineageOS, you should be able to locate this within the System Settings --> Buttons then scroll down to the bottom under the "Volume buttons" category.
Also, the forum has the following area that's dedicated to this topic.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android-tv
Please note the following subcategory in that area which may also have more information specific to the Chromecast Audio.

Hi,
As of the last two LineageOS 14.1 updates (January 17th and 10th), I have a new problem when using the messaging app 'Signal'. Prior to the updates, video calling used to work flawlessly. Now, I can call a contact, talk to them, but the instant I press the 'video' button to enable my camera to start video chatting, the phone (Samsung S7 herolte) restarts. No warning, no error, it just restarts.
Not sure where to begin figuring out this problem. I have used logcat to get what I hope is the most useful info. This is the file up until the moment my phone crashes:
t50JLZP2t4 on vomitb.in (sorry the logcat was too long to include in this post and I can't seem to link directly yet as I'm a new user - not sure what the better way to do this is...)
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I'd be very grateful. Many thanks to you all!
Cheers!
