I just switched from the Nexus 6 to the Moto Z2 Force (Verizon) and my alarms don't play through the headphones. I sleep with headphones in most nights and on my Nexus it would play the alarm through the headset and speakers. The Z2 only seems to be using the speaker. I had the app that came on the phone and switched to the Android clock app thinking it was a third party thing. Both do the same thing.
Does anyone know how to get alarms to stream through the headsets? I haven't tried a wired pair yet but I would prefer to stick with my BT LG headset.
It started playing when I downloaded a song from Zedge. Just regular alarms didn't play.

I am using Motorola stereo Bluetooth headphones, and have encountered a new problem since I got my Evo.
When I used them with my BlackBerry, I could hear everything through the headphones, (phone calls, music, sprint navigation, etc). However, with my Evo, I can only hear phone calls through them. When I play music or Sprint Navigation, that sound is played through the phone's speaker.
Does anyone know of a setting that can be adjusted so that I can listen to my tunes though the headphones? If not, is there an app that can fix it?
Thank you in advance for your help.
I just paired my Jabra bt8010 and music played fine through it no added software..
search for motospeak in the market..you can also search a2dp for other bluetooth stereo apps.
I'm using a pair of apple wired headphones no volume buttons just the ear buds.
When I plug it in and play pandora or songza it seems the music will play through speakers even though headphone is connected. I have to unplug and replug the headphones while the song is playing for the music to switch.
It's not totally consistent but happens frequently. It may be worse when im switching between multiple apps, pandora -> songza. Or if there is a delay between starting songs.
This happens on stock sony and CM11.
Thank

That's great to hear I'll be getting my 360 on the 17th
Works decently, but I've had the BT headset disconnect randomly with the 360 connected. Over a year and my BT headset never disconnected, it's a Bluebuds X. Also had some issues with no voice input into my mono BT headset with the 360 connected, almost like the BT voice input was rerouted somehow to the 360. Seems to be buggy .

I've had my plantronics voyager legend sound very digitized to the point it's unusable lately. I'm multipoint paired to my HTC one max and a blackberry q10. Haven't had this problem before the moto 360.
I had my Moto 360 connected to my phone and my wireless beats with no problems. Works great
I just go my 360 yesterday and was wondering the same as op. I literally use my phone in calls about 4 to 5 hours a day. I actually use a blue parrot xt plus and they can't be beat as far as call quality on both ends. Now for looks, that's a different story. Can you say "May I take your order" they look like a headset from a drive thru. Anyway thanks for all the comments.

Yes you can, also there are about two apps enabling volume on the market for your player.
Works well, but I've heard some people complain of battery drain on moto 360 when you have another BT device connected. I don't think I've encountered that problem though.
I guess it depends on what phone and BT you are using.
I have moto 360 with LG G3 and when I workout I pair it with Jabra sport to listen to play music. Music is slow, unresponsive at first, choppy and from time to time play music fc's. Could be play music, BT, G3 or M360 and BT both connected to G3.
Playing music just through phone works with just M360 and works ok with just BT connected to G3. Next time going to try it with Gnote 3 and see if that works any better.

Works just fine with my Bluetooth car stereo as well.
If anyone has another Bluetooth device connected while using the moto 360, it causes the other Bluetooth device device to act very odd. My example was tested on 3 phones and 2 different cars and that while my phone is connected to the moto 360 and cars Bluetooth, the sound is all choppy and horrible from my phone. (not Bluetooth audio from my car) You can't even get directions from Google maps or Here because the moto 360 causes the volume from the phone to become all choppy. Even when the phone rings the volumes are choppy from the phone. Once I unpair my moto 360 everything is back to normal. Looks like others are having odd behavior as well when connecting Bluetooth speakers and using the moto 360 at the same time but I have not tested Bluetooth speakers.
Please help Motorola cause this watch is awesome
Maybe you shall email their support group to give the issue report. I plan to get moto hint.in furture but this issue may stop me.
That's a Bluetooth/Bluetooth Low Energy problem. I had the same issue ever since I started using a fitbit with my LG G2, which syncs via BT LE. The 360 compounded it. I recall someone suspected it had to do with the ble implementation in the android bt stack, but I don't recall the specifics
Using the 360, fitbit and uconnect car bluetooth all day yesterday with no issues.
Google play music streaming.
CBS streaming radio
On device music.
No issues.
Try doing that again but using Google now or Google maps and report back
Using LG G flex, Motorola DECK BT speaker and moto360 and wasn't having any audio issues either. Played music for hours at work.

Every morning I drive to work with my Nexus 5 connected to three devices and stream music without issue.
Audi BT for Phone
Griffin BlueTrip for BT Audio
Moto 360
On the way home, I stream MLB games (well, up until last week). I check traffic via Google Maps to see the fastest route and I never lose Audio.
In following these threads, there have been a few other things to keep an eye on:
The #1 culprit seems to be custom ROMS and Kernels.
Others have mentioned leaving wifi on. Android tries to connect to open wifi networks, even while driving, and that can cut out signal.
Not one issue with Bluetooth on my end,and I'm paired to my LG tone all day everyday.
S4, cm11, play audio through speakers w/o issue. Most likely an issue with phone/ROM/kernel/car system rather than the 360. I've had three different 360s so far (various RMAs) all work/worked fine with car Bluetooth audio.
No issues here with BT connectivity. I have M360 connected to my phone, and my phone connected to my car BT audio.
Stream music via Amazon Prime Music app, audio came out great
Navigate using Google maps and the direction was spoken via car audio clearly while M360 does prompt and vibrate for direction as well.
I have no issues. Nexus 5 connected to my Moto360 and factory head unit (2011 Camaro). I stream Pandora, Google Play, and have spoken notifications.
I had my 360 for 3 weeks every day I connect my HTC m8 to my car radio via blue tooth. At work I connect to Bluetooth headphones and listen to music for about 4 hours a day. I have not had a single issue like the one you describe.

I have the issue, but not playing music. Mine is with phone calls. This is with the watch paired to a stock LG G3. The phone calls start out okay but a minute or two in it gets all garbled on both ends.
No problems here with my Sprint note 3. Actually navigated a few days ago with maps and it was fine
Can't Bluetooth-tether my tablet to my phone while the watch is connected. Also, if I walk out of Bluetooth range of my phone, the watch either doesn't reconnect when I come back in range, or takes a very long time to do so.
Same issue..
I do have the same type of issue with intermittent audio over bluetooth while in my car. It's find if my moto 360 is turned off, but when it turns on it causes issues. I had the problem on the old Moto X and the newest Moto X. I found other threads reporting the same issue.

I connect to my cars bt to and from work every day and have not experienced any issues. I'm using a stock 2013 Moto X 4.4.4 no root/mods.
I have a question the last few devices I have had could play music via Bluetooth to my cars without the notification sound coming though the car speakers. Now with this new phone AT&T Note 5, I can seem to not have the notification sounds come though the car speakers.
My Nexus 6 (Moto) plays the music and volume lowers a bit but my notification sound is not audible via car speakers like the Note.
Is there a setting I can change that I cant find?
