Little to no 4G LTE connectivity on MetroPCS - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

So I'm wonder if anyone else has been having a problem with their 4G on MetroPCS. Like I've been having trouble receiving calls and using my 4G data. But if I go in my mobile networks settings and set my Preferred Network Type to 3G or GSM/WCDMA, I can get calls but I can't use data at all. But if I set it to 4G/LTE it works for a bit but the signal just slowly dies to just 1 bar and I can't do much except make a call.

Data works except for 3g

This is annoying me, all data connections work and only 3g won't work.
I'm using the 30_2 radio and never really noticed any problems. But right now it will take a data disable/enable to get up from 3g to HSDPA again. When the 3g icon is up it does get an IP in the 188.x.x.x range, I can see data outgoing but now it doesn't step up to HSDPA anymore it just stays at 3g with no data incoming.
Any suggestions, I'm at a loss

3g signal issue

So here is my grudge as of now with the gnex. When I go from roaming to 3g or airplane to 3g, it takes an unbelievably long time to actually GET the 3g signal. It will show me that I have 3 or 4 bars of service but does not show me the little 3g icon. I am currently running Sourcery 3.2 as my rom and have my mobile network set to CDMA only. Is this a common issue or do I have a possible shotty gnex?

WCDMA only loses data

I'm using Darthstalker Note 3 V6 and Advanced Signal Status to switch between LTE or WCDMA. The problem I'm having is that sometimes when streaming data through Spotify or watching YouTube, WCDMA mode loses data connectivity. It usually happens after a prolonged period of use, but WCDMA just will just stop working not connect to 4G data anymore. I can still make phone calls and send texts, but internet and apps that rely on data just don't work. Signal strength shows normal, but the 4G is just dead, the indicator is not there either. However, if I'm in an LTE area I can switch to LTE and everything will be fine. Its like WCDMA just stops working for a few hours.
LTE coverage in my area isn't nearly as good as WCDMA and I prefer reliabiliy more than speed. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Switching airplane mode on/off - doesn't work
Turning the radio itself off through Advanced Signal Status - doesn't work
Reboot - doesn't work
Battery pull - doesn't work

Network Mode

I have a LG G4 H815 Eu on EE, under "Network Mode" it is generally set to 2G/3G/4G Auto, on a call it goes to 3G often 2G, when it drops to 2G I cannot then access the internet at the same time.
I've taken to leaving the setting on 3G only, which works fine and allows both calls and data at the same time, but obviously missing out on 4G.
My only options are 2G/3G/4G Auto..... 2G/3G....... and 3G only
What I really want are 3G/4G, is there any way to get this, I'm without root as of now.
Thanks
Gosh. Please educate yourself about cell networks. Your phone has to drop to 3G when making a call (yet) . There is hardly any 4G network capable of transmitting a call. Yes, the invented, released, published and implemented a cellular standard WITHOUT the possibility to make phone calls. You can eavesdrop on 4G so perfectly it makes the NSA guys jerk off, you can not make a phone call. Isn't it great how the needs of the customers are met? [emoji35]
When you only have 2G then your connection is simply so bad that you just won't have enough bandwidth to make a call and surf at the same time. (How the hell do you do that?)
Your phone should however go back to 4G when the call has ended and 4G is available.

I don't think you read my post correctly.
I can have default 2G/3G/4G Auto but when on a call and it sometimes drops to 2G, data dies so I have to end call to use data.
I've now set it to 3G only and for the last few days it works fine on a call and data at the same time if needed, but obviously no 4G
Only other option is 2G/3G which is useless as 2G is where the problem lies.
I want a 3G/4G option, is this possible?
Are you in weak coverage areas? Your phone should only be dropping if you have weak 3G.

That's the thing, if I set it to Auto it frequently drops to 2G.
Since I've left it solely on 3G the signal hasn't dropped once even using it in the same places when on Auto it dropped to 2G.
I would like a 3G/4G option, any ideas how to get one? Thanks

So I'll ask again, are you in a weak coverage area?
No need to ask again, I've just explained when i lock it to 3G it's perfect, why it drops to 2G when on Auto is anyone's guess

Calling kills internet

Just wondering if anyone else is having problems using internet while on a call. I will have LTE until I start a call at which point the phone drops to a h or h+ connection and refuses to do anything network related. When I look at the phone information menu it says LTE for voice and data, is there anyway to force voice to UMTS or something so I can leave the LTE open for data? I'm using cricket wireless, a at&t mnvo in the USA and I'm on viper is 7.1.2. I'm not provisioned for volte or wifi calling.
I also don't get any internet at all on HSPA. Never had a phone do this before.
