go to CWM
wipe data
intall zip from sd card
select the file and install
click next in aroma installer and after installation click finish
wipe cache and dalvik cache
DO NOT CLEAR DATA AFTER INSTALLATON
reboot and done
first reboot may take time
Download File
After installation it is recommended to connect to wifi for download of google search offline data.
Update xposed installer and activate the modules.

Camera Fix
just download the attached camfix.zip and extract the two .so file
copy the two files using es file manager using root permissions to /system/lib
you can also use root explorer (recommended)
change perissions to 644 (-rw-r--r--) and ownership to 0.0(root:root)
reboot and done

i am working on the camera and adroid version is 4.2 jellybean.
I am also working on porting this ROM, I have the camera fixed. I will post a zip.

no. there is no mass storage problem in my rom.
may be there is some problem in ur pc. check it again
I was talking about my attempt to port this rom. It was showing that there was no internal/sd card.

This rom is fantastic. Luv the way u have made it mostly "kitkat"ish.
1, The dark transparent backgrounds work beaurifully and the additional apps from Xposed does wonders.
2,Very stable.
3, Camera works but the default is down at 8mp even with patch. So the best thing to use is Lenovo Super Cam apk.
4, This rom can fool anybody that its kitkat since even the easter egg portrays it.
5, External mem shows as internal. Although most will prefer it, I prefer default since the phone has enough space for apps. So I modified that with a small change in the vold.fstab file. If anyone needs the same, buzz me.

This is a extremely good rom but there are some problems
1. Photosphere laggy (we cant say its working at all)
2. Unused sim stays at the statusbar.
Else its the best rom yet for the device.And the looks are awesome.

I dunno about the photosphere issue since i use Supercam but in order to get rid of the unused sim bars, just use Xposed Framework, Gravitybox module. In that, you will find the option to hide inactive signal bars under status bar tweaks or some similar option. Did the trick for me mate. Cheers:good:

although the ROM is very stable but will you be working on anymore updates on it ,
and also is it actual kitkat or just themed jellybean

just google it.. there is an xda thread also for it... u will get apks and install them
Amazing rom !
We do have to fix 3 things on our own though like internal memory shows as external can be easily fixed by replacing the vold.fstab file in system/etc by another custom vold.fstab file .then camera patch provided in the OP by extracting them and then replacing the ones in system/lib and setting permissions to rw-r-r. And making sure you do a reboot after each change .
A lot of tedious work but yes a very stable rom no issues yet not in wifi not in anything at all

Said to be the most stable rom for NOKIA X.
Indeed true.
But the Lewa ROM BY @Dom3616 had a couple of bugs in it.
1.Whenever you open wifi the phone restarts and stucks in bootloop.
2.ROOT problems (LeWa has inbuilt root access and management but I don't know why it is not working on this)
3.Force Close problems
4.MOST IMPORTANT - NO NAVIGATION BAR (You can do nothing on LeWa without a nav bar.)
I loved your work Sir (There were some good features too).
But I request you to kindly fix those bugs ASAP.
You can fix those bugs by yourself.
1.Wifi Crashing-You can download and flash the Null Kernel from here.(by @mdfzhi)
2.ROOT Problems-1.Download the Superuser zip file of Chainfire(sir) from here. Now boot into recovery mode.Clear dalvik cache and cache.Flash the superuser zip.Profit!!
2.If the above method doesn't help,then probably you'll need a PC to root your Nokia X.Use Nokia X Manager (by AngSanley)

4.No Navigation Bar- These methods require root.If you are able to manage to root your phone then proceed.[/B]

b)Go to SYSTEM folder in the root of your file sysem.
c)Open the "BUILD.PROP" file in any text editor.
MAKE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP OF THE FILE IN YOUR MEMORY CARD BEFORE EDITING IT.
d)Now add the following line to this file at the end.
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
e)Save and exit.
f)Reboot.
You now have soft keys.

Camera not working
Hey i sucessfully flashed the lew rom on my nokia xl dual sim phone and have been using it for a few hours.
everything is working nicely except the camera ,which according to the lewa os changeog should be working now.
oh and FYI in the system version it says : lewa_os5.1_14.6.27
any fix?

Lewa os 5.1 contact problem
I'm install lewa os on my nokia xl everything good but only one problem "unfortunately contact has been stopped" plz fix this problem...

Tips & Tricks :
1. You might might feel that the battery consumption is a little high
So to reduce the consumption
Open Settings > Open WiFi > Click on Advanced > Switch off the option " Scanning always available ".
2. If Google Maps is not working for you -
Open Settings > Open Location > Click on Mode > Change to High Accuracy - Then open the app , it may force close then restart the device and the app will work normally.
3. Increase Performance of ROM -
Open Settings > Open Battery > Turn off the CPU Power Saving Mode - This will increase the performance of ROM and will give higher scores in all benchmarking apps like Antutu, Nenamark & many more. It gets turned ON automatically whenever you restart the device so have to turn it OFF every time.
4. Disable Dolby Digital Plus while attending Calls otherwise you might face poor sound quality.
Hello Everyone,
This is an initial realease. Even updater script needs changes on credits, as in stock rom.
Network is pretty good as reported by the members who helped me with testing.
You need camera,auto rotation and boot patch to be applied after flashing the rom.
There could be a screen blackout during first run, so dont be alarmed, please report in case you face any problem.
Update Google Play Store after the first boot.
Initially there will be no File Explorer as you install the rom.
So install your favourite file manager from play store.
Root with Kingroot. You are free to use other root apps also.
Build.prop editor for changing values like lcd density, etc.
Optimus Advanced Tools in Settings for LED, Heads Up and Listview animation.
Changes will be updated as I/We get suggestions, tips and tricks.
does this work only on ART or dalvik also, as some apps may be incompatible, also Xposed in incompatible with ART

Starts off with dalvik only, i am aware of the ART incompatibility with popular apps that we are used to.
So ART is not enabled by default in the source.

Please try and report.

I can confirm that the scanty network problem is solved by replacing the modem file.

don't rename or anything and replace the already existing file. This worked.
The ROM is awesome with low RAM usage. Minimal bloatware makes it even better.
Rarely, (very rarely) i find the power button not working. But after some activity it starts. Maybe some app is doing this. Ill update later on this

One of my mate Doyle Fermi, helped me by flashing this zip and letting me know the stats, about this package working or not in Aosp / Layers based ROMS. So I removed CM theme chooser & CM theme store..!! To manage fc's and problems. Now users on Layers /aosp roms can also flash this zip. Every thing works except Cm theme stores n themes as they are removed..!!

*Info about new audio fx*
If you have installed/ flashed an extra audio driver except audio fx i.e Dolby/Viper 4Android/Extreme audio mod/etc.
First uninstall them to get audio fx working properly.
*Some general Doubts*
1.I'm on Cm 12.1/13.0 based rom and I wish to have old theme engine (theme's app) and other new things!
-> Flash 3rd zip (Aosp/rro) in ur Cm 12.1/13
2.Why is my dialer not replaced in Cm 13.0 as given in ss?
-> Read Cm 13.0 users section above, you'll get the reason.
3.Theme's app in menu says no result and shows no new theme's to download in cm 13.0!
-> This is because Cyanogen is about to release Theme showcase for 6.0 and Cm 13 themes are yet to be integrated in theme showcase app.
4.So, if theme's app in menu says no result, how to select or apply installed theme in cm 13.0?
->Settings>Themes here you'll get it.
5.In Cm 13.0, audio fx on Headset mode doesn't shows any effect/changes!
-> While u plug in headsets, use Speaker mode for that too..! (Will b fixed soon)
6.Im on 'So and so' ROM based on So and so...! And i don't wish to keep New Email by boxer app!
->Install titanium backup and freeze that app.

AudioFX doesn't seem to work on CM13. I mean it doesn't show any error but it can't detect when I plug in my earphones. Even if I manually enable it by going into headset settings, I can't observe any difference in sound.

For now..!! Whn u plug in head/ear phones use "Speakers" in audio fx n try out the presets..! I'll try to bring up a new build soon with that fixed.!!✌? Jst use Speaker settings for head sets for now ..!

I shared a different zip for aosp roms(3rd one) u need to flash that on ur device..! As aosp dsnt supprts theme engine so they gave fc's. U flshed d wrng zip. Read Aosp section for more info in 1st post.
And regarding those force close... Read How to remove this mod.. Den remove it nd flash d crrct zip( aosp one )

i have flashed the third zip which is for aosp right?
I'm currently running a cm13 build from sultan on my OnePlus One. Should this package work on my device? (the second one)

I am latest CM 12.1 nightlies, everything works flawlessly. I love the trucaller integrated dialer.

How to install first time
Download ZIP below (download center)
Reboot - recovery (power + volume up)
Make a full backup of your current ROM and copy it to your computer to prevent issues (even make a EFS backup!!)
Wipe: Dalvik, Cache, Data, System (DO NOT WIPE USERDATA)
Install ZIP Rom (you don't need to be root to install it).
**IMPORTANT ADVISE: Sometines TWRP have issues installing .zip and get Error 7. If this happend, please reinstall ROM twice. In the second try, TWRP will can install without problems. If you still having this issue, check if in ''mount'' option, you have disabled ''system-read only''. Install again, and If you still having this issue, please, re-download the ROM (sometimes servers download to you a corrupt .zip file...).
**IMPORTANT ADVISE 2: On first boot, you will get one bootloop, THAT'S NORMAL, this is caused by ROOT, please, do not interrupt process and look how your device turns ON in 10-15 minutes. Next time you turn ON your device, it will turn ON like always .
Reboot system and wait 10-15 minutes until Smartphone load all system (only first time)
Configure your Google Account and MiCloud like always

Download Epic OTA with OTA app from Settings (No MIUI Updater, use EPIC OTA!)
You can also download update manually from en.miui forum or htcmania spanish forum
Install update from Epic OTA or from TWRP Recovery manually
You don't need to wipe anything if we don't say it on update! If you have to do some special, we will let you know

As to TWRP, there seems to be a general problem for several Xiaomi phones with "official" TWRP not working, or not working well.

Dolby atmos doesn't work
Hi, I installed yesterday this ROM and it feels so smooth, I really like AOSP notifications.
I'm having trouble when I try to equalise music, Dolby atmos app opens and is turned on but when I set a custom mode the sound is the same. How can I fix this problem?

Well, the problem only happened with Google Play Music, using Xiaomi's player Dolby atmos works fine. I decided to uninstall Dolby Atmos in order to keep using Audioeffect, which is the equalizer used by default and works perfect on Google Play Music.
