Can anyone upload the folder of the Camera app (including the odex files) from OB21 in /system/priv-app for me? I'm currently using a custom ROM and I don't want to download the whole ROM just to extract the Camera app.

i am on stock 4.0.1, but not deodexed. if there's anyway this could still help by pulling my camera apk let me know...
If you can pull the camera apk and odex, then zip and upload, I would be eternally grateful.
unfortunately i dont have any tools to do that here at my work computer. the most i can do is copy the camera apk via root explorer and upload. if this dont then perhaps someone will come by that can shortly...
Hey guys, sorry for my bad english, today i have modded the memo.apk, i have signed the apk, set the permissions, and deleted a .odex file, but the application do not appear in the main menu, i only moddified some icons in the res folder and the background image...
I need to do something else?

So, i need the .odex file to an odexed rom? because i don't deodex the rom for now. If i am correct someone can upload the .odex file?

This is a Google Drive folder with all the deodexed .apks. I knew it would come in handy.

There is no need to download the .odex file because those .apks are deodexed, so they don't need an .odex file too to work.
Just get the SecGallery2.apk(direct link: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B03kWBzzGaK6aEN4UklEWEJnR00/edit [I hope it works]) and place it on your /system/app folder and set permissions rw-r-r.

I flashed Jishnu's Camera mod without doing a backup first, and my camera won't work now..
Somebody posted the whole framework folder of the stock ROM & the camera.apk & odex.

I got this from the insert coin rom. Works fine on that ROM and since it's just stock camera it should be good for the stock ROM. Just do a backup before flashing

you just need root explorer and delete camera.apk from /system/app then copy camera.apk and camera.odex from stock_cam.zip to /system/app folder and reboot the phone

doesn't work, either moving into /system/app directory, or installing as a normal APK.
using official CM13.0 04 June build on A2003.

It's the direct backup of the app from stock rom.
So, it's supposed to work only on the stock rom.
You should look for the ported one in the themes and apps thread. It might work with CM rom.

Has no one actually considered decompiling the apk? It's likely juts got a command somewhere saying it can't install or work on anything that isn't an op3, remove that and recompile
It's most likely crashing due to the missing libs files. If anyone can help me find the appropriate lib files, I might be able to get it to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
