Can someone help me to get the latest firmware of SM-N930S with the 15% battery limitation. I got this phone from friend and i want to start developing new Roms for this device.

Hello.
I got the 30% firmware for N930F. Maybe it can help you if you flash only the AP file with odin.

It's not custom rom, it's stock N930F firmware...

I find this firmware N930SKSU2BPL2, on this website http://hoj.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=3410&highlight=N930s
It should fix the problem of frp lock. But it need a code registration.
Hello! Could u fix your problem? I had same problem and maybe downloaded so many firmware for Sm-n930s but all was fail. I couldnt pass the oem lock. Do u have another solution for it?

You can downgrade to KitKat (it worked for me) but it will wipe your phone automatically.

You download the firmware with SamFirm because you can create a 4 file firmware and you use Odin and uncheck auto reboot. Normally everything should work correctly if not make a nandroid backup before flashing. In case that the downgrade fails, you will have to flash TWRP and restore the nandroid backup you made earlier. When doing the backup be careful to store on a micros card otherwise the update will be removed. I will try to make a video later this week.

You can flash it with the sammobile firmware .. it is working perfectly. . I haven't faced any problem till date..
downgrade rom
Just download the lower version rom from sammobile(firmware) . use odin to flash rom, add the rom to AP/PDA wait till it load then start the process. when the phone restarts wait for 5-8 min as it takes time to load first time.
here your rom is downgraded!

after i successfully installed hydra custom rom, I decided to insert a sim card then the phone reboots. After that, phone display custom rom binary blocked by FRP. It also blocked accessing the TWRP.
I tried several flashes of stock 4 firware but it will prompt to device fail kernel.
hoping someone will help regarding with this.

I can help you recover your note 7. You need the current firmware that was before in your phone. What was the battery pourcentage before you installed hydra rom?

i tried it with sm-n930fd firmware. it won't push through. device kernel fail keeps on prompting.
btw, when i installed hydra rom it's in 60%

So you need the 60% firmware. You can't downgrade to 100% firmware. You need to flash this firmware begin by: N930FXXU2. mine is N930FXXU2BPI7

nothing works. :crying: last resort is to download latest version N930FXXU1APGI if this still prompts device kernel fail. I don't know what to do

Do you have screen shot? What version of odin and what is your note 7 model? What firmware you're trying to install?

Well, had anyone followed the instructions for newflasher on their 1ii he'd soft brick his device 100% There are steps that need to be taken, that even the Dev is unaware of, and is contesting. Such as removing all Ta files from the firmware first, for this specific model, contrary to him telling users not to do this unless they want a hard brick.
